This update includes:
- Updates, as we incorporate the suggestions and bug fixes from YOU, our community! There are 210 guides, of which > 16 had updates.
- A promise to update the guides frequently, until we get MoP settled down.
- A few bug fixes and enhancements.
The updated guides include:
- Alliance Pandaria Hallows End (Mostly written, but I have to level my toon to 90 first)
- Draft Horde Pandaria Hallows End (Needs TLC from a high level hordie)
- Horde Shadowmoon
- Neutral Valley of Four Winds
- Neutral Townlong Steppes
- Neutral Kun-Lai Summit
- Horde Jade Forest
- Alliance Jade Forest
- Horde Krasarang Wilds
- Alliance Hallows End Eastern Kingdoms
- Monk starter quests for starter zones. All races now supported!
We have 6 bug fixes/enhancements this update:
- Achievements Module updated to use new MoP quest tracking
- Fixed bizzare startup crash if you did not load leveling module and still used dailies
- Remap map coordinates for new start area sub-zones
- Guide now hides in instances again!
- Guide now hides during pet battles.
- Apply a patch for Blizzard’s GlyphUI crash
We have 1 known bug this release:
- Updates to the profession guides
While the current guides are pretty good, we will be working constantly to improve and update these guides. Remember that if you notice a bug, you can help us by reporting it!

Re: what is the problem?This turned out to be a bug in our addon:https://github.com/Jiyambi/WoW-Pro-Guides/commit/ecb2d86be1d6f8308ed993464c408be2e99a723cOn zone transitions and when going into cross realm zones, we were getting a flood of CRITERIA_UPDATE events (literally hundreds) for which we were doing a full guide update. This bogged down things. I do not think this problem exists any more.
what is the problem?Need some details as to the problem.
I have performed a UI reset I have performed a UI reset by renaming the necessary folders as per Blizz instructions. I have downloaded the latest addons.
re: World Event – Hallow’s EndIt is not our addon. There is a general problem on the PCs (and not macs) where when you go into a cross realm zone, things MAY freeze up.
If you remove ALL addons, it will still do it.

BTW: I have hard lockups with the 64 bit client, the 32 bit client seems to recover after a bit.
World Event – Hallow’s EndFirst, I want to say that I have used the guides for over 4 years now and am thrilled with the results! I’m having a problem with the Tricks and Treats guides. Every time I move from one zone to another, the game freezes for a few minutes and I am disconnected. I have performed a UI reset by renaming the necessary folders as per Blizz instructions. I have downloaded the latest addons. Whenever I use the Hallow’s End guides, the freeze and disconnect occurs. Any advice is appreciated.
