Gilneas TomTomHello i wanted to say first that this a wnderful site keep up the great work! It is really helpful , and inspiring for someone to really put in the work for a guide for wow. I have not any problems at all with the add on , but recently i noticed the TomTom arrow is absent when questing in Gilneas. Please help. I love the TomTom waypoint it is very helpful especially on long trailed out quests. Thanks for everything!!
That was do to me and othersThat was do to me and others adding in a race tag in the lines, so the race only quests would be skipped by those not of those races. It’s just not feasible to do so with Worgens and Goblins.
Guide showing for non-worgen racesShould there not be something in place to hide this guide from non-worgens? The Dun Morogh(Gnome) and Bloodmyst Isle, for example, seem to have an “auto-skip feature” for race-specific quests.
Wayward arrowThe problem is a combination of TomTom, Astrolabe and Blizzard problems.When they introduced the new starting areas for Worgens and Goblins they took the experiment they started for Death Knights and took it to the next level. The areas are heavily phased and use maps that vary over time.Poor TomTom and Astrolabe started out with a simple system that used (continent, zone, x, y) to specify coordinates. Now it has to be (map, floor, x , y). A zone may need to use multiple maps, depending on time and more than one floor, depending on location. We use they API the TomTom author exports which is (continent, zone, x, y) and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. It used to be that it crashed, now it just unreliable in some places. The author is fixing things, but it is slow going when you gotta work a day job to pay the bills.
Waypoint arrow not showingWaypoint arrow not showing for the Worgen Starting Zone Gilneas.If I go to the map, I do not see the waypoint markers. They only appear once I click Continent: Eastern Kingdom, Zone: Ruins of Gilneas.I think there is some issue with the worgen starter zone being identified as “Gilneas” instead of “Ruins of Gilneas” however simply switching the name in the guide results in no waypoint markers at all.I’m not sure if this is a blizzard, tomtom, or wow-pro guide bug.

Guide not advancingGilneas Guide does not advance when completing a quest step, have to open up the settings to “current guide” and check and uncheck the next step for it to advance correctly. This is especially a problem early in the zone. Version 2.1.0.EDIT: This looks like it’s the same issue as the comment marked “zone not found”.

yup, same for me. And Iyup, same for me. And I wonder where is my post about it 🙂 I was in the Firelands Forgeworks in Mt. Hyjal where it is saying “Zone not found …” and my arrow isn’t working in Mt. Hyjal – for all quests.
