Quests For Level 70-80 WotLK Dungeons
Introduction
This guide provides (when finished) all the quests available for the new dungeons from 70 to 80 and shows where and how to get them. It is NOT a guide for the instances themself, just for the quests that need to be done there, so don’t expect any answers to “How do I beat Boss XYZ?”.
If you think I missed something or if something is wrong, please add a constructive comment.
Status
The guide is still in development. It contains all quests known to me, but it still misses some prerequisites and in-depth guides.
How to read the guide
- The numbers before the instance indicate the [RecomendedLevelRange (LowestLevelAtWhichItCanBeEntered)] and are taken from wowwiki.
- The numbers before the Quests are the minimum Level for that quest.
- You can get one Daily Heroic quest per day from Archmage Lan’dalock in front of The Violet Hold, Dalaran which requires you, to get an item from the last boss of a certain dungeon.

I’m 90% sure there is 1I’m 90% sure there is 1 heroic daily for each instance. I’m also 90% sure all of them are listed in this guide. But I’m 10% thinking a couple are missing. Or I’m bad at math.
Daily HeroicsHey,
I was just wondering if all of the daily heroics here are the only ones that you can do or are there more?
Grammar Error![quote]You can get one Daily Heroic quest per day from Archmage Lan’dalock in front of The Violet Hold, Dalaran which requires [b]you,[/b] to get an item from the last boss of a certain dungeon.[/quote]
There should not be a comma after you. =)
Thanks for the great guide, though. Sure gonna help my goal of getting to 80 without touching Icecrown or SP quests.
Little typo:

Ingvars Head should be Ingvar’s Head
Kind of agree with you onKind of agree with you on this one 😛
One suggestion, about theOne suggestion, about the color choice for “Both”. The idea is good, you’re mixing horde/alliance colors, but visually it’s just disturbing, I can’t explain why, it just kinda makes my eyes bleed ^^
Maybe that’s just me though. But anyway, it’s already looking much better, keep it up.
This is very helpful! This is very helpful! I would love it even more if you added where to get the quests – since I have no idea for most of them.
It’s very nicely formatted and easy to read, the only thing I might do is add a little more blank space between instances, you can use [ br ] to put in a blank line.
Thanks for making this!
[b]EDIT:[/b] Woops, I see you are already adding where to get the quests, looks like you just aren’t done with that part yet. Well good for you! 😉
Yes, I considered linking toYes, I considered linking to wowhead, as I liked the side pre-wotlk. But their wotlk data is more confusing than helpful, at the moment. More often than not there is only one faction given for a quest, which both, horde and alliance can do, or the minimum level is wrong, etc. The comments are confusing, too, as many of them are from the beta, and talking about things that changed until release.
So unless wowhead gets better, or someone points me to a better page, adding links will have a low priority.
You’re right. I put theYou’re right. I put the level requirements at the end, which should let you find the instance names more easily. I’d like to add links to the instances at the top of the page, but I think bbcode doesn’t allow that 🙁

Violett Hold should be Violet Hold.
Add some linksThat’s a nice guide indeed. How about making the quest-names link to wowhead? So users can get quick access to the quest, for more information and loot, etc.
Good job 🙂
Great guide! What a great guide! I think these type of quests are perfect, they give everything what you want, exp, reputation, nice drops and a great reward from completing the quest.
Only tip i can give you is to make the guide a bit more user friendly. I mean make it more easy to read, i find it a bit difficult to see the instance names when skimming over the text, but i know you are not finished yet with this guide, so keep up the good work 😉
Fantastic!Great guide, Lesegart. It’s useful for people who want to make a quick search for dungeon quests. Just use ctrl+F (or whatever is on Windows, I actually have Mac and it is different) and write the name of instance -> read the quests. Very good mate :).
That’s quite useful andThat’s quite useful and nicely presented!
Of course we can always improve it, but that’s a really nice start.
If anyone has suggestions or sees anything wrong, feel free to post a comment.
