Fishing GuideJust put in a new fishing guide as I saw it was on the needed list. I am going to start one for cooking next, gunna take some time because while I have maxed it out, I have yet to retrieve all of the recipes. Once I finish finding all their locations, availability, etc.. I will start putting the guide together. This will be for teh Horde by the way (granted after the last patch I don’t think that would be much of an issue 😉 )

If anyone has anything specific they would like me to try and factor in, send me a message!

I iz back, again!Why is it when I get almost done with something I have to temporarily abandon it… Meh. 🙁 Been bogged down alot lately ingame running my guild, so I’ve had little to no time at all to even check the site!

Nevertheless things have calmed down abit now so expect to see more from me you unlucky people! 😛 New ETA on my Prot Warrior guide… Soon. That’s the best indication I can give right now.

As an extra note though, once I’m done with that I’ll start up a ‘How to successfully run a Guild’ guide. Alot of guilds fail, and I want to help out those who have the potential to go far.

I need some thoughtsMy Cooking achievement guide is “finished enough” for what its purpose is. However, there’s more stuff I could add that would take a very long time to do, but it’s not really necessary. Would it be prudent to submit the guide in its current form as a “version 1.0” and then add the extra stuff later as a “version 1.1”?

Higher LearningIs there any interest in a guide to get the baby-blueberry minipet/achievement Higher Learning? I didn’t see it in Falky’s guide to pet and mounts of NR, and the achievement is a little confusing. If you all want a guide for it, I’ll try my best to write it.

Updates and a new guide!Hi folks!

I’ve made some updates to the needed guide list! Please post here if your update did not make it on, I had to go back through a few previous comments and I’m not sure I got everybody.

Also, I’m announcing a quick project I’m doing for the summer fire festival, hopefully to be released by Sunday. This guide, at least for now, will be TOUR GUIDE ONLY, and also HORDE ONLY! It will cover at least all of the “running around” type achievements (meaning the honor/desecration of the fires at all the different towns).

If there is enough interest, I may make a paper guide as well, but it won’t be churned out as quickly.

Also, I’m going to start work on the 2nd installment of The Diplomat achievement (Mag’har/Kurenai), so if someone could post that up too, it would be great.

I know that wow-pro already has a Mag’har/Kurenai guide, but I thought I might as well make one following the theme of The Diplomat achievement, and perhaps make it slightly spiffier too.

I’ve contacted Snownation about this, but I don’t think they’re active on the site, so I don’t think they’ll mind.

Guide tabsIs it possible to make more tabs available on the guides menu? I mean, just like leveling guides, instance, class etc. also an achievement and reputation guides tab? Because with all the new guides being written, I think there will be an ever-growing list in the general guides tab with several guides of several topics, and it may take some time to look up what guide you need.

Anyways, since it weren’t my biggest project atm I forgot all about signing up. I’m working on it simultaneously with leveling a hunter, so I’m really just taking notes as I go. And now that I’m closing in on level 80, I’ll begin really [i]writing[/i] the guide.

So that is probably why I haven’t signed up, because I haven’t begun writing the guide itself yet, I’ve just done all the pre-work.

Well, it’s not like I want to fight over writing a guide, so it’s the first person to the mill I guess. But Trollvink haven’t signed up either :O

I’ll let him write it if he wants, it’s really not too big of a deal.

I’m currently leveling my 3rd hunter to 80, and I can assure you that I most likely have twice the amount /played time leveling and playing hunters than most people have. Furthermore, I am currently in the process of leveling and I am therefore quite “up to date”.

But if you want to update the BM hunter leveling guide, then go ahead. I just think it’s kinda sad because I’ve been planning this for quite some time now and done all the pre-work, I just didn’t sign myself up on this page for it.

But again, if you want to write it, then do that if you think you’ll come up with a good result, and I’ll accept that lots of work goes down the drain 😛

Scale of the SandsI’m also going to make a Scale of the Sands faction guide as well. It will likely be released first. Hyjal is very dependent on that faction and a Hyjal guide isn’t complete without a thorough rundown of the Scale of the Sands faction.
