I’ll emphasise the fact that this is NOT efficent levelling, and will reduce your effiency when doing Jame’s guide (when it eventually comes out). Tihs is just for people or want the rep or shoulder enchants, for whatever reason.

Oh I did and it was veryOh I did and it was very useful, there was just a couple things I couldn’t figure out. But now it’s all squared away. Annoyingly now, my computer with WoW on it doesn’t work well, and I can’t use Firefox at all on it, but I can still do it with just IE and Wowhead, as much as I dislike IE. Luckily I plotted everything out for the guide before it all went to hell.

Hunter PetsCan I suggest a Hunter pet guide?

I don’t mean a list of every pet available in the game, but what is best for each Hunter spec,

e.g Tenacity and which spec they are best for, with a list of the top Tenacity pets (e.g cat types, are they all the same stat wise or is there one that stands out from the rest), their stats, where to find them etc (especially if they’re exotic ‘boss’ types), Skills and Talent builds etc.

Also if a ‘veteran’ hunter has played with them and their personnal feed back – playablility of them etc.

I have looked for information but the amount that’s out there coupled with the amount of pets available, makes your headache trying to work it all out 😛

Working on a guide Hi there, just thought I’d let you know that I’m [b]currently[/b] working on a Paladin starting guide – covering the races, the areas, noteable quest etc etc. Hopefully this guide will link well into someone’s Paladin guide who has not covered the actual [i]creation[/i] of your Paladin so…

Instance/Dungeon/Raid Duties GuideI have navigated around and around for one of these on this site and can’t find one. That having been said first and foremost am I blind? If so can someone please link it for me.

If not, what I would like to see if possible is a guide that outlines the general duties of classes inside of an instance/raid.

I am not a real experienced player, and have a few low level characters. I have belonged to raiding guilds in the past, and I am currently with a leveling guild.

The problem I have is that while everyone is helpful enough, it is very hard to find people that will actually train you on what your duties should be within a raid, because the unfortunate truth of the matter is that people with toons of that level are more interested in defeating high level instances than taking noobs by the hand and going – do this, no like this, like that. The problem with PUGing is pretty much the same, they are in there for the instance not for your benefit. Leveling guilds hold the inherent problem of inexperience, so really no help there.

I think that I guide might be useful for at least getting the basics of who you are in an instance, and proper ways to carry out your role.

In my mind the guide would answer such questions as:

Who am I supposed to be?
What does that job entail?
What kind of enchants/equip bonuses am I looking for?
How should I build my spec tree?

I don’t think it would have to be overly in depth, just give the basics for noobs like me.

For formating, check theFor formating, check the Paladin or Shaman leveling talent and tips guides (I linked to them a couple of comments below).

And honestly, if you feel that shadow leveling is the way to go for leveling, write your guide according to that. Say that in your opinion shadow is the best leveling spec and just stick to your guns.

Personally, I also think that shadow is the way to go for leveling, so go for it!

As far as I know, there isAs far as I know, there is no leveling guide being worked on. But Shadowy was working on a beginner’s Shadow Priest guide.

Things to stick to when making the guide would be what you can learn from the Guide writing section (aka make it look nice with lots of stuff)

Priest Levelling GuideThinking of taking you up on your offer of a priest levelling guide – already did something similar to this on our guild forum and my main is a priest, so very familiar with the class.

Before I start – and having read the existing class guides – I’d like some quick input.

1. Shadowy/Katrex are your guides levelling guides, or something different? How close are they to being completed?

2. Looking at the other levelling guides, there’s some consistency but mostly they’ve been written individually. Do any stand out, are there essentials, which of the other class guides would you point me to for format (eg. based on traffic to the site).

3. Priest levelling = shadow levelling to me, regardless of final choice of build. Would this count as s “priest levelling guide” or would you expect other builds to be included (my main is holy but i’d have been nuts to level as holy).

Cheers – if this is the wrong place for these questions pls point me elsewhere. Shadowy/Katrex if I’m suggesting covering what you’re already doing pls msg me and I’ll do something else, probably one of the instance guides.
