Due to be launched on August 30, 2016. Some of the expected new features were:
- Level cap raised to 110
- Character boosts to level 100
- Class Orders, Order Halls and followers
- New hero class — Demon Hunter
- New continent – Broken Isles
- New Leveling zones:
- Azsuna (Emmaleah)
- Highmountain (Emmaleah)
- Stormheim (Ludovicus Alliance)
- Stormheim (Emmaleah Horde)
- Val’sharah (Emmaleah)
- Suramar (Level 110) (Blanckaert with help from Emmaleah)
- Artifacts
- Improved transmogrification system
