World of Warcraft Pro is holding it’s first guide competiton! The winner will be awarded with an original 60 days prepaid game card! All the details about the prize can be viewed by clicking on the following picture.
The Competiton:
To participate you need to submit a guide. To be eligible the guide needs to meet the following requirements:
- 500 words or longer
- 5 illustrations (pictures) or more
- the guide must be about an in-game aspect of WoW
- no methods that are against Blizzard’s ToA are allowed in the guides
- the guide must not be taken unrightfully from another site, we don’t want any copyright issues to arise, if you don’t have an explicit permission to submit a certain guide from another site, it’s not allowed in the competition
- the guide should treat a subject that is new (something we don’t have a guide about already), if however your guide treats the same subject as another guide from our site, it must contain something new/innovative – it must be visibly different or superior in quality to the previous guide
- it must be in good English (of course this is a subjective term but what we mean is that it should be understandable with correct grammar and punctuation)
All further details about guide writing are available here:

From today on (20th August) you’ve got exactly 30 days to submit your guide; deadline will be 19th September. Your guide doesn’t have to be finished for you to submit it, you can start out, submit it and then work on it progressively by editing.
Once you put up your guide, you need to send a PM (to Snowflake) or an email via the contact form, stating that you wish to participate in the competition along with the LINK to your guide.
WoW-Pro reserves itself the right to reject any of the submissions if they violate our terms or if we don’t find it appropriate.
Once we received all the submissions we’ll setup a public poll for one week where people can vote for the guide they liked the most. The guide with the most votes will win the competition.
Rules and Conditions
First make sure to read our Terms and Conditions (You can view them by clicking on “my account”).
The prize that you’ll receive, should you win the competition, will be exactly what you see above, NOTHING else. Note that the award is the Game Card that’s currently avaliable in North America, so before participating make sure that the game card is compatible with your localized version of WoW and that you can use it!! No ammendments, complaints or changes will be possible if in the end you aren’t satisfied with it or if the product doesn’t work for you. Also WoW-Pro isn’t legally responsible for any problems you might encounter with the product.
Furthermore, to enter the competition you must be:
- 18 years or older
- from the following countries: North America, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom or any location that Amazon.co.uk ships to (in case you are from Europe and your country isn’t listed above, check Amazon.co.uk, if those ship to your location).
Happy Guide Writing!
Although it isn’t true thatAlthough it isn’t true that most readers are european, I can order from Amazon.co.uk in case someone from Europe wins, will add that to the post ๐ Though make sure that you can use the Game Card that either Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com offer.
Amazon.co.uk does, and asAmazon.co.uk does, and as most users here are european it would make sense to order it from there.
Sowy :(Amazon.com doesn’t ship to Norway it seems, no clue why… sorry ๐
