This list of items includes all the gear I personally think is the best to get, before you start raiding the 10 man or 25 man instances as a restoration skilled druid. This guide is meant to be an overview of the available items, so that you can better focus your heroic instance runs and your emlems of heroism. You might also use this guide to evaluate the equip of a new guild aspirant.
NOTE: I often included more options per item slot, because I think either one of these options will do it’s purpose. Anyway, the first item in the list, will be my personal favorite. Sometimes I listed the options, because other items for the same spots are harder to get, or it might take a longer time to reach them.

Needs an updateThis guide could use an update, but is still useful as is. It will be obsolete when the expansion is released, however, and will be moved to the archive section at that time.

Ahh…just noticed myAhh…just noticed my mistake. I did not include the Spirit on the Handbook of Obscure Remedies therefore I thought it had more Manareg, which was wrong. In fact, you get 8.6 more Manareg with Mainhand + Offhand.

I used [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?compare=37360;40699:37169]Wowhead Comparison Tool[/url] for comparison and took 1 mp5 = 2.985 Sprit as a calculation basis for manareg from [url=http://elitistjerks.com/f73/t37578-restoration_itemization/]Elitist Jerks[/url].
So I would gain:
+ 5 Int
+ 24 Stamina (neglectable)
+ 31 Spirit
+ 63 Haste
+ 4.12 mp5
and would “only” loose 59 Spellpower.
If I’m wrong, please give me the details, why the Mainhand + Offhand is better.

You just happened to start with the worst class/spec though. Blame Jiyambi! :p
Well, there’s one thing IWell, there’s one thing I won’t agree with your list.
I would prefer the “War Mace of Unrequited Love” from Keristrasza in heroic Nexus in combination with the “Handbook of Obscure Remedies” for 25 Emblems of Heroism. With a one-hand weapon and an additional off-hand you’ll always get more spell-power.

I will contact Jiyambi and see, what we might work out in this case. I could think of leaving it as a seperate list and linking it in his guide. We will see…
