You’ll find the list of our Cataclysm Ready leveling guides in readable format. All the guides on wow-pro are FREE, there is no trick, they are just free and will remain free. Enjoy and please contribute!

Tips

Here’s how to enjoy the guides as much as possible, even if you don’t have a 2nd monitor, you can either:

1. Print the guides. There is a “Printer Friendly Version” link at the bottom of every guide, you just have to click on it. However, that might be expansive (and probably expensive), because the guides are big, very big. Another downside is that my guides are updated very frequently, so if you print it you’ll miss the latest updates.

2. Playing WOW in Windowed Mode feels very comfortable while following along with this guide.

  • Keep the guide opened in an internet window
  • Log in to World of Warcraft, press Escape and go to Video Options, tick the following boxes:

Untitled-4.jpg

Click on “Apply“.

Your screen will look exactly as if you were playing wow in full screen mode, besides you will be able to ALT-TAB to the guide INSTANTLY.

This is how I play wow while following my guide, when I don’t feel like booting up my 2nd computer 🙂

3. If you don’t like any of those options, then you should definitely try our in-game addon version of our leveling guides. Simply click the link below:

My only qualm is that I hadn’t remembered they had a 12-20 guide until I was already 15! 😛

Man! Im leveling FAST!!I started this guide about 3-4 days ago and im already on level 28! I plan on getting to level 30 tomorrow, so about 30 levels in 5 days is really good progress (for me at least). I figure at this rate i can get to level 80 in about a month at most. Its all thanks to the your leveling guides. Keep it up.

Speaking of stress, when ISpeaking of stress, when I followed Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide, I were almost constantly stressed about which quests to take or not because he weren’t (and isn’t) too specific on which quests to take or not.

But with now, while following WoW-pro guides, I’m never concerned whether I have the correct quests at the correct time, and when to turn them in.

Here is the page with theHere is the page with the addon information and download links. Basically the addon is a step by step guide to what to do to level through questing. Almost all the steps auto-complete when you finish them, and an arrow appears showing you where to go next. It’s completely stress-free leveling, and very fast!

Speed LevelingI have read about guys who “speed” or “power” level and get to lvl 80 or so in about a week or two. I was wondering, do your guides provide the information on how to do this, or is there a better, faster way to level than this? I am asking because i want to level as fast as i can.

Hmm, well you probably don’tHmm, well you probably don’t want questhelper’s arrow enabled at the same time since it will most likely not point you to the same place. What guide/faction are you using and what step are you on? Or does this occur for all steps in the guide you are using?

The guide is still being refined and some locations are missing, so it might just be that.

Hi all! I’m in love withHi all! I’m in love with this site and the addon. Thanks to everyone who contributed to it. Have one question though, the arrow that’s supposed to point me to the objective isn’t showing up. I’ve downloaded the guide, tomtom, lighthead and tour guide. I tried turning on QuestHelper at the same time and I got two arrows, one was TomTom and the other was QH. Any help on this please because I am an addon noob. Thanks in advance! 🙂

It’s all the opposite,It’s all the opposite, you’ll see MORE of the lore of WoW if you follow these guides, as they make you do a tremendous amount of quests, moreso than what you could do on your own, I guarantee you that 🙂

At least, that’s what every person who followed our guides said 😉

These guids will show youThese guids will show you most of the solo/questing content available at the moment. They are very up-to-date and almost always cover 100% (or close to that number, depending on the effectivity) quests available in the zone. As an example, you get quest achievements on all zones in WOTLK if you follow these guides. It gets harder as your level up because the amount of group quests not soloable is increasing but all of them are covered in the guides.

I have leveled 5 characters to lvl60+ before I found this site. I have been to areas and did quests on my newest character (following these guides) that I have never seen or done before.

Do the guides show you most of the contentIm thinking of using a this excellent looking guide, but have a question about them.
Do they show alot of the content of warcraft?
Say for example if i followed them from 30 thru to 80, I would obviously get to 80 very quickly and efficiently but would i miss say 80% of the backstory of Warcraft ?
Sorry if ive put that badly. Im a lvl 20 Hunter and I dont just get the time so sit and really hit wow. So a guide would be great for me but i dont want to miss the backstory / lore of warcraft. Im assuming the quests show you some if it but I guess you dont do all the quests in the questlines.

Just wondered in your opionion what the trade off is if any 😀

    Thanks

30-40 questing in STV.Today I was browsing through the wow offical forums and I occasionaly found a post of a player who’s using Jame’s guides (horde side) but can’t quest efficently in STV due to the level 60-80 playes ganking (clearly on a PvP server). So I was wondering, are there any alternatives at STV? I suggested to do some other areass and don’t care about doing quests that Jame will include in the guide because every one will eventually finish way ahead of the guides. But, maybe, more expert players can suggest more interesting things. Another thing I think can be good is just to skip STV parts and go on with the guide, anyway there is always a chance to recover the “lost” xp and finish ahead.

    Any thoughts? 😛

New quest in zul’drakIn 3.0.8 blizzard added a new quest to Zul’Drak so that people will be able to get the quest achievement easier. You get it from Chronicler To’kini in Zim’Torga, you can get more info at WoW Insider

I think it’s wrong sayingI think it’s wrong saying that my guide is Westfall/Redridge, it’s more like Westfall/Loch Modan/Redridge. This is mostly because you’ll level through alot of levels in Loch Modan aswell.

This is nothing major, but I thought I’d just mention it 😛

Boston’s 10-20I’m not sure if it should have been removed. Currently Boston’s is the only guide that goes all the way from 1-30 and now there’s that large gap in the middle. I’m not going to say whether Maw’s is better or worse as I haven’t used it yet (though I plan to). It’s just that it was nice to have a single consistent guide all the way to the start of Jame’s.

Near-perfect guides!Hi Jame and other people helping with the guides,
you are doing amazing job all in all. There are minor mistakes in the text but taking into consideration the sheer size of it, it is absolutely flawless. Whenever somebody is asking for help with quest and I can help them, I do not forget to give you credit and spread the word 🙂

    Keep up the good work

Triple XP levellingWhile I don’t use Jame’s guide anymore, I imagine the “outpacing” can be counteracted by following the guide till you reach the upper limit of the level group and moving on to the next group. Granted some quests in the next section might have prerequisites that you skipped, but bypassing them shouldn’t be a problem either since you’re getting so much more XP.

I play Horde, but if I’m leveling two toons with triple XP I generally go through the race’s starting area ( not just the spawn zone, but the 7-12 one too ). Then I hit Barrens ( usually 14-16 already so Barrens is very easy ) through low-mid twenties. Depending on the class I’m primarily playing I either go right to STV, or Thousand Needles if I need a couple more levels to comfortably go to STV. Make sure you do Grom’grol and Booty Bay, not just Grom’grol. Next I go to Tanaris and The Hinterlands ( order isn’t really important ). Finally Silithus or Eastern Plaguelands to 58 or 60, depending on my desire to get to Outlands. I do pretty much every quest so long as it’s not gray throughout this process. Any green quest is giving good enough XP to make it worth the time it takes to do it.

Recruit-a-“Friend” GuidesI’m thinking about powerleveling up several alts with a multibox account that I would use Blizzard’s Recruit-a-Friend program with. I’ve loved your guides in the past but the 3x experience gain would definately outpace your guides in a big hurry. Have you ever given any thought to writing up a Recruit-a-friend leveling guide?

PicturesYeah, some of the guides are great especially james guides. But, it seems as though some ppl make a guide but then never look at there feedback and somtimes forget things like pictures. Some people gave somthings like (point 1) and there were no pictures to see this. Also they even tell you to give them feedback somtimes and still don’t even look at it.

    P.S. lol i can’t w8 for the 60-70 guide either!

Wow pro guides are great, especially Jame’sWow pro has great, to the point, well written guides and thats all there is to it :).

Something I’ve found that helps to cut down on time is to copy the printable version of guides into a word document and delete objectives in your word document as you complete them. It helps a lot when you’re trying to go back through a huge document and find exactly where you left off.

Once again, thanks for the guides wow pro!
