Echo has shown impressive performance and potential in the previous RWFs, coming close to beating Liquid in the previous tier, Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible. Some of their fans blame the time difference, but Echo did coincide and congratulated Liquid for their win. Echo has a talented and motivated roster of players, led by Scripe as their overall leader and the charismatic and experienced raid leader, Roger “Rogerbrown” Brown. Echo is determined to prove themselves as the best guild in the world, and to dethrone Liquid from their reign.
Liquid (US): Liquid is the best guild in the US region, and the best guild in the world, according to the RWF rankings. They have made a breakthrough in the RWF scene, becoming the first US guild to win a World First title in Ny’alotha, the Waking City. Liquid has a skilled and dedicated roster of players, led by the charismatic and experienced raid leader, Max “Maximum” Smith. Liquid is aiming to repeat their success from the previous tier, and to challenge Echo for the RWF title.
Pieces (EU): Pieces is the second best guild in the EU region, and the fourth best guild in the world, according to the RWF rankings. Pieces has been a consistent and strong contender in the RWF scene, having achieved several top 5 finishes, including a World Second title in Crucible of Storms. Pieces has a talented and passionate roster of players, led by the charismatic and experienced raid leader, Martin “Meeres” Meere. Pieces is hoping to improve their performance and results, and to challenge the top 3 guilds for the RWF title.

Some called it a two horse race with Echo and Liquid competing for the challenge.
