Games can be as old as 10 or 20 years ago or as new as yesterday, but they can be pretty good games if they’re well made. The visuals might not look good, but if the game knows how to get your attention then it’s a good game. These RPGs are great at keeping your attention and if you’re an RPG maniac, they’ll be right up your alley.
Red Dead Redemption II
Nothing spells RPG like a Red Dead title, and this newest installment of the franchise comes as gritty as any cowboy film. You’ll take the role of one such man and go over a myriad of quests that fall into the morally grey area of the Wild West.
But this isn’t just a place of sand and trouble, as you have saloons and hotels to visit. The developers were looking to make the title realistic so they featured popular cowboy card games such as blackjack and poker. Although most poker and blackjack variants are available at online casino sites nowadays, some of them are still parts of land-based casinos. The main thing about these games is to enjoy them responsibly.
Cowboys used to cheat in these games, and you can too. If you happen to be caught cheating in Red Dead then get ready for a fight. Red Dead Redemption is a brutal, but beautiful RPG game all gamers should play at least once.
Cyberpunk 2077
The future is something we obsess about and so do game developers. The current rise in technology has us thinking that we might merge with machines to become something more. This kind of future is illustrated in Cyberpunk 2077. The game lets you make as many alterations to your character’s body. So you can have claw arms, golden skin, an extra gadget attached to your body that will help you hack others, and more.
You have 3 starting options and these are the Streetkid, Corpo, and Nomad options. Each will have its perks and add additional options to conversations and actions. There are 2 corporations ruling the world and these are Militech and Arasaka. You’ll do all sorts of jobs to survive on the streets of Night City and you’ll meet representatives of both organizations. You’ll get especially close to Arasaka on one job and once that’s done, your life will change. That’s the gist of the story and if you’re looking to dig deeper, then go for the game.
Dragon Age Inquisition
Fantasy titles are doing pretty well nowadays. Although Dragon Age Inquisition came out in 2014 it holds up to today’s standards of visuals, storylines, and the overall gaming experience. Regardless if you’re a rogue, mage or warrior, human, elf, Qunari, or dwarf, you’ll start at the scene of a murder and you won’t know what happened. Luckily, there are rifts with monsters that need closing and you’re the only person for the job. You’ll meet all sorts of people and some of them will become your companions in your question to find out who committed the murder and seal the rifts once and for all.
