Re: ?Oddly, I ran into exactly that problem in the world events module and I have a tweak queued up!The problem was in that I added quest turnins for Darkmoon fair dungeon and PVP drops and I noticed that the C and T steps showed up even if the quest was not in your log.A few lines of code and now it works.
That seems like somethingThat gray exclamation point thing seems like something that could be added in the future. I know there is a way to cause the behaviour you are looking for but I haven’t worked with the addon in forever so I don’t recall how it works. All I know is I was being told to do things for quests I didn’t have. Anyways, didn’t want to sound like a whiner as it’s a great guide, been running through it with my boyfriend and we’re having a blast! 🙂
?It was my understanding that C steps dont show if you dont have the related quest in your log? Is that only for the dailies module. For the current itteration of this guide, I took out the A steps for the dailies, but left the C steps, so if you do pick them up, the instructions are there for how to complete them. Can you try putting an ACTIVE tag on one that you havent yet gotten to and see if that makes it not show (or makes it skip over?) I really wish steps that show (i.e are visable), but skipped would have the grey skp step check mark in addition to being passed over, so that if you scroll back you can more easily notice that they are steps that don’t apply.
Just a note that the mostJust a note that the most recent version of the addon still has dailies in this guide, and they are quite buggy (telling me to complete many quests which I cannot pick up).
Re: Dailies?Good catch. I’ll collect all the new zone dailies and start proper guides for them.I’ll leave any daily enablers and notes for dailies in instead.There are 353 daily quests listed in WowHead for level 86 and above. Not all will make it into guides.
Dailies?I don’t think it’s a good idea to include the Klaxxi daily quests in this guide. The available quests each day are chosen from a wider pool of possible quests (Blizzard started that practice a long time ago), this guide told me twice to pick up daily quests that the mantid in question didn’t even offer. I think it’s a better idea to remove the dailies from this guide (maybe mention them in a note or something) and instead create an own guide for those.
