The goal of this guide is to create a seamless and efficient route to leveling Alchemy in the Wrath of the Lich King from 375 to 450.

This guide is not created like many profession guides. It is not a linear list of what to create at what skill points. Instead it will give several different options at each skill level so that you can choose what path is more efficient for you. What is more efficient leveling wise will vary from player to player depending on the availability of certain herbs on the auction house, and the random luck of farming.

All recipes included in the guide are trainable from the Alchemy Trainers in Northrend.

Elixir of Mighty Agility (Goldclover x2, Adder's Tongue, Imbued Vial)

Indestructible Potion (Icethorn x2, Imbued Vial)

Indestructible Potion (Icethorn x2, Lichbloom, Imbued Vial)

Runic Healing Potion (Goldclover, Icethorn x2, Imbued Vial)

Both recipes turn yellow at 415 and green at 422. Despite this, they remain the best options for leveling at these skill points.

430-435
Transmute: Earthsiege Diamond (Dark Jade, Huge Citrine, Eternal Fire)
Transmute: Skyflare Diamond (Bloodstone, Chalcedony, Eternal Air)

435-450
Flask of Endless Rage (Lichbloom x7, Fire Leaf x3, Frost Lotus, Enchanted Vial)
Flask of the Frost Wyrm (Icethorn x5, Lichbloom x5, Frost Lotus, Enchanted Vial)
Flask of Pure Mojo (Icethorn x7, Pygmy Oil x3, Frost Lotus, Enchanted Vial)
Flask of Stoneblood (Lichbloom x7, Crystallized Life x3, Frost Lotus, Enchanted Vial)

I am not sure if a list of

I am not sure if a list of recipes from the trainer constitutes a guide. Oh well.
One query: what is the criteria for "seamless and efficient"? Cost of mats, availability of mats, demand for product (ie money-making) or ??

Please add the mats list as suggested by others.

Here is a suggestion of a recipe to replace the ones from 375 to 390.
Pygmy oil (375 to 390grey) can be made from one mat..pygmy suckerfish (no vials). Cheap as... And the oil is useful in other recipes.

Sorry Nilz but it's the mats listed below,note there are options to the guide as far as what you want to make to lvl, me being a holy pally i went with what i could use after.if u get all the recipies while doing it you should be fine with the following mats.

The goal of the guide is not to have a set linear path for progression but to show the best possible ways of advancement depending on your luck at gaining skills and market conditions or farming luck. The mats list are useful, however, each person's mileage will vary.
