WoW-Pro Addon: Big decision - Please read

After discussing it with Jahwo and giving it a lot of thinking, we decided to stop working on two addons at the same time. Thus, we'll stop working on the WoW-Pro Custom addon, and will concentrate our efforts only on the TourGuide version from now on.
I apologize to all those who worked hard on Jahwo's addon, it makes me really sad to have to abandon it now, but it's for the best. We need to concentrate our efforts on one addon and to make it the best, it's the only way to go if we want to make our addon perfect one day.
We chose TourGuide over WoW-Pro Custom simply because it is a more professional addon, it has more features and it also already a lot more guides.
So from now on, please focus your efforts on the TourGuide version of the wow-pro addon. Let's work together to make it the best leveling addon ever!

I love TourGuide and would
I love TourGuide and would hate to see that add-on fall into oblivion. I'm about to step into testing Snowflake's BE guide myself and look forward to seeing the results. The only negative is that her 1-12 guide wasn't finished first. But there's only a small amount of cross over between the TG 1-12 to Snowflake's guide.

This is a good thing I guess. However, when I was using the belf starter guide (wow-pro custom addon version) it knew when i had spoke to teh repair guy or my trainer or whatever. Does this functionality exist in tourguide (if it does then it isn't being used) and if not could it be added? Tekkub won't add it because he is against putting in steps such as "repair at xxx" so would it be possible if its not already in there? Or maybe he would put it in as it does have many good uses!
Good decision, best to pool resources and not spread them thin.

Yes, it's already in some of the guides. And it will be in all of the guides once we reach the standards I've set.
I feel sorry for Jahwo and
I feel sorry for Jahwo and everyone else who helped code guides for his addon. However tourguide is a much better addon that takes up less space and is easier to follow. The only problem with this is if Tekkub, for some reason, stops updating tourguide we will not have a leveling addon to use.

Well, if he does stop updating it someone can always take it over and continue it. That's happened with other major addons before.

Jahwo, thanks for your hard work on the addon. I'm still using the Dragonblight Horde version, and I have to say, I actually liked Wow-Pro better than Tourguide. Thanks, and good luck.

I didn't get a chance to use the WoW-Pro custom addon, but I know from previous work by those involved that there was quality work being done. I enjoy the Tourguide. And look forward to the most excellent work that will be done in the future.

After all I suggested this to Jame and the effort certainly was worth it as I learned a lot about AddOn writing and so on. And I think i can be proud that I've initiated this whole AddOn thing, completely against Jame's plans

Seriously tough, take your break. I've been coding horde chapters for levels 31-41, Durotar 1-12 and I'm currently working on the Barrens. It takes many hours to complete even ONE chapter.
