Phase 2 Grand Widow Faerlina Boss HP : 2,230,000 Start Position Phase 1 Phase 2 Maexxna Spiderlings HP: 7,000 Start Position
Part 1
Start up with full nuke on the boss until the boss casts a web over a random target. Now, the ranged dps must kill the web before the player inside the web dies (it's prefered to have AT LEAST 2 ranged dps). The melee DPS shouldn't focus on killing the webbed - just continue attacikng boss. Note that the webbed can be healed, so one of the healers - keep an eye for the webbed. The boss also got a annoying debuff which need to be cleansed. Part 2
The boss will also cast a stun to all in 3 seconds, make sure that the healers got all HoT heals on the maintank.

Very nice wrap up of the
Very nice wrap up of the bosses if you need a very quick reminder of how a fight works. For those that do the bosses for the first time I do miss some vital information though.
Anub'Rekhan:
-> Locust Swarm: also makes you unable to use any spell. While in Locust Swarm all you can do is run. If your healers are up to it you can just heal the tank through the damage (on normal). If you decide to heal through you should take the boss to a side of the room giving the offtank and dps the place to pick up and kill adds while staying out of the Swarm.
-> Kiting: I quote you "(Make sure that the maintank is so close to the wall that he touches it)". This is physically impossible due to a trench of green water between the wall and the platform on which you are fighting. But the point is the same: make the kiting path as long as possible.
Grand Widow Faerlina:
-> Alternate Strategy (if you can't kill adds fast enough): In you're raid setup you ask to bring a hunter. A hunter is very useful here in killing adds (any other class can do it also offcourse). Tell one dpser, one that knows the fight, to take all adds down to 50% health. Then take Add1 down to like 10% health. This way it can be finished off with a Kill Shot + Arcane Shot combo, making the enrage drop almost instantly. Ofcourse good timing is essential, voice communication between hunter and offtank is very helpful. It might take a few tries before the hunter and offtank get this right, but once they have you cut down the time enraged to 0,5 - 1 second max.(This is usually my job, that why I mention this strategy)
Maexxna:
-> Poison (don't recall the name): As Jiyambi already stated: Cleanse it! It reduces healing taken by 75% (I think). The poison is the result of her Poison Spray which should only hit the MT if he turns Maexxna away from the raid. But it still needs cleansed as fast as possible.
-> Cocoon: We usually assign 2 or 3 ranged dps as 'cocoon-killers', never melee as they just have to run to far. If the cocoonkillers are fast enough on the cocoon you don't need to heal the cocooned people while he is cocooned and you can just wait till he is back at the raid and in range.
We've found it easier to tank Maexxna very close to the web on the wall (= where cocoons come) to minimize/eliminate running time for ranged dps and healers when going to kill a cocoon.
-> Spiderlings: Mage's Frost Nova + AoE or Warlock's Seed of Corruption works wonders
-> Enrage: is at exactly 30% of her HP. If you state it in percentage it is correct for normal and for heroic
I do already apologize if this feels like a personal attack or something as it is not meant to be. This is only an attempt to fill in the info I feel is missing but is important to understanding the fight.
and I don't know how to format a comment with some basic markup, so also my apologize for the unreadability :S

Will add them. But I
Will add them.
.
But I disagree on one of your suggestions
'Spiderlings', It's waste of time of the DPS's to go for these. 6,7k hp... Err? and my experience is that they don't hit hard.
And like Jyambi said, It's only make me happy that someone is interrested in my guides, constructive criticism is always welcome

For the Anub'Rekhan notes -
For the Anub'Rekhan notes - the healer should be one who can heal while running, preferably a resto druid,. They need to be very careful to stay far enough away to be out of the silence. Also, you can kite on the ledge close to the wall, on the wall side of the green stuff, so your comment about touching the wall is incorrect.
Also to the above poster: I don't think it seems like an attack, you were very polite
criticism is how these guides get better!

For Maexxna, you may want to
For Maexxna, you may want to note that she also casts a very nasty poison which should be removed quickly (poison cleansing poison is useful). Also, a strategy very often used is to wait before taking the boss past the enrage point until right after a web wrap stun. Even with well geared healers, a web wrap stun during the enrage can cause a tank death.

Nice guide, another thing
Nice guide, another thing you may want to note for Maexxna is the random person who becomes webbed can be healed. When I heal this fight I usually position in between the main tank and the web position, which usually helps.
Keep these guides coming
Edit: Just realised the url is something to do with death knights, but that's just me being picky
