Manovan’s Night Elf Leveling Guide (1-13)

This is a guide for fast leveling through Teldrassil as a Night Elf character. If you’re another race, I recommend that you choose another guide. This guide will take into consideration classes (class quests and talent suggestions) and professions (and alternative circuits for gatherers). This guide will optimize your leveling for your class and profession of choice. The system used is emulating Jame’s because his guides are very detailed and comfortable to play after.

Why you should use this guide:

  • This guide takes into account every quest in the zone in the fastest and easiest way possible.
  • This guide gives suggestive circuits for your class and profession of choice.
  • This guide is carefully planned out and tested to make your leveling process as fun and easy as possible.

IMPORTANT!

  • This guide is intended for Night Elf characters only!
  • Everything in this guide can be done solo!
  • Don’t bind your hearthstone somewhere unless I tell you to!
  • Try to log out in an inn or in one of the major cities!

These notes are important so that you won’t get lost in the guide. If you follow the instructions accordingly, there should be no questions about what you’re supposed to do next.

Recommended AddOns

Using AddOns are optional but there are some I recommend to make your leveling process easier. I will also mention the AddOns I use for personal satisfaction in case you wonder about something you might see in a screenshot:

  • Quartz: A very good casting bar AddOn.
  • QuestHelper: This is a recommended AddOn which automatically track quests and mark them on your maps. I recommend using the AddOn to make it easier to find the locations of your quests while following my guide. However, I suggest you ignore QuestHelper’s suggestive routes and stick to those I suggest in this guide.
  • Titan’s Panel: This is a good AddOn which adds panels to the top and bottom of your screen. The highlight of this tool is the fact that it adds coordinates to your map.

Color Code

  • Quests
  • Items
  • Locations
  • Quest objectives to kill
  • NPCs
  • Coordinates
  • Profession

Class specific information:

  • Druid
  • Hunter
  • Priest
  • Rogue
  • Warrior

The color codes might look confusing at first glance but you’ll get used to it in no time.

The Guide!

Level 1

So you have decided to create a Night Elf character? Great! Take your time to set up your interface the way you want it, fix your key bindings and make sure your AddOns are working properly. When you are ready:

Grab [2] The Balance of Nature from Conservator Ilthalaine.

Start walking north to Melithar Staghelm (59.42) while killing:

  • 7 Young Nightsabers.
  • 4 Young Thistle Boars.

Grab [1] The Woodland Protector from Melithar Staghelm.

Stay in the area until you hit level 2.

Level 2

You can now take [4] A Good Friend from Dirania Silvershine (60.42).

If you’re done with [2] The Balance of Nature, go back to Conservator Ilthalaine (58.44) and turn it in.

Get:

  • [1] Encrypted Sigil/[1] Etched Sigil/[1] Hallowed Sigil/[1] Simple Sigil/[1] Verdant Sigil (depending on your class).
  • [3] The Balance of Nature.

Go to Aldrassil (the big tree).

Sell junk and repair if needed. Then visit your class trainer:

  • Druid: Walk up the trunk to (58.40).
  • Hunter: Walk up the trunk to (58.40).
  • Priest: Inside the main building (59.40).
  • Rogue: Inside the main building (59.38).
  • Warrior: Inside the main building (59.38).

Turn in your class quest and train your skills.

1: Go south to Tarindrella (57.45) and turn in [1] The Woodland Protector. Take [3] The Woodland Protector.

2: Go west and kill Grells for Fel Moss (8).

You should be level 3 by now.

Level 3

Go back to Tarindrella (57.45) and turn in [3] The Woodland Protector.

Get [4] Webwood Venom from Gilshalan Windwalker (57.41).

3: Go north to Iverron (54.33) and kill Webwood Spiders, Mangy Nightsabers and Thistle Boars along the way.

Turn in [4] A Good Friend. Get [4] A Friend in Need.

4: Now kill Webwood Spiders until you have 10 Webwood Venom Sacs.

You should be level 4 by now.

Level 4

5: Go south-east to Dirania Silvershine (60.42). Make sure you complete [3] The Balance of Nature on the way.

Turn in [4] A Friend in Need at Dirania Silvershine (60.42). Get [4] Iverron’s Antidote.

Go south-west to Conservator Ilthalaine (58.44) and turn in [3] The Balance of Nature.

Go to Gilshalan Windwalker (57.41) and turn in [4] Webwood Venom. Get [5] Webwood Egg.

Go to Aldrassil and sell junk, repair and visit your class trainer.

Now we need to get the ingredients for [4] Iverron’s Antidote:

  • Hyacinth Mushroom (7).
  • Moonpetal Lily (4).
  • Webwood Ichor.

1: Go north to the lake at (58.38) and pick up 7 Hyacinth Mushrooms along the way.

NOTE: They are mostly located around trees so circle the trunks of all trees along the way.

You should find plenty of Moonpetal Lilies at the lake.

Pick up 4 of them.

2: Enter Shadowthread Cave (56.31) and take the left tunnel, jump down the edge and take the left to a chamber at (58.26).

Make sure you loot the Webwood Ichor from any of the spiders.

In the egg chamber is Githyiss the Vile, a level 5 spider.

Kill him and loot Webwood Egg from one of the eggs on the ground.

You should be level 5 by now.

Level 5

Hearthstone back to Shadowglen.

Turn in [5] Webwood Egg at Gilshalan Windwalker (57.41). Get [5] Tenaron’s Summons.

Run to the top of Aldrassil where you should find Tenaron Stormgrip (59.39).

Turn in [5] Tenaron’s Summons and get [5] Crown of the Earth.

You will be provided a Crystal Phial.

Go down to the main building and sell junk, repair and restock if needed.

Go east to Dirania Silvershine (60.42) and turn in [4] Iverron’s Antidote. Get [4] Iverron’s Antidote.

1: A timer of 5 minutes have appeared. You have to run north-west back to Iverron (54.33) before the timer runs out. Do that now.

Turn in [4] Iverron’s Antidote.

2: Go east to a moonwell at (59.33).

Fill the Crystal Phial in the moonwell and then run back to Tenaron Stormgrip (59.39).

Turn in [5] Crown of the Earth. Get [5] Crown of the Earth.

Priest: Get [4] In Favor of Elune from Shanda (59.40).

Now it’s time to leave Shadowglen.

3: Take the road south to Porthannius (61.47). Take his quest: [5] Dolanaar Delivery.

Follow the road west to Dolanaar.

If you aren’t level 6 already, kill some mobs along the road until you are.

Level 6

1: Next to the road you should see the satyr Zenn Foulhoof (60.56).

Take his quest: [5] Zenn’s Bidding.

Continue to Dolanaar.

Take [5] Denalan’s Earth from Syral Bladeleaf (56.57) who is standing at the porch to the big tree building at your right hand side.

Also take [6] A Troubling Breeze from Athridas Bearmantle (55.57).

Priest: Turn in [4] In Favor of Elune at Laurna Morninglight (55.56) on the bottom floor of the tree building to the right. Get [4] Garments of the Moon.

The First Aid Trainer is there on the bottom floor.

Get [6] The Emerald Dreamcatcher and [7] Twisted Hatred from Tallonkai Swiftroot (55.56) who’s located on the very top.

Turn in [5] Dolanaar Delivery at Innkeeper Keldamyr in the inn (55.59).

Make Dolanaar your home.

Go a little bit south from the inn and turn in [5] Crown of the Earth at Corithras Moonrage (56.61). Get [5] Crown of the Earth.

Go to Zarrin at (57.61) and learn Cooking (even if you don’t want to skill it up).

A new quest is now available. Take [7] Recipe of the Kaldorei.

Priest: A little bit south at (57.63) you should see Sentinel Shaya. Heal and fortify her. Then go back to Laurna Morninglight (55.56) and turn it in.

While you’re here, take your time to sell junk, repair, restock food and visit your class trainer.

Now is a good time to spend some money. You need bags. The bigger the better. If you have higher level characters on the same realm, log in on them and send some bags over. If you don’t, buy what you can get. Even small bags are helpful.

The Herbalist and Alchemist Trainers are on the southern side of town. If you want Skinning or Mining, I highly recommend that you wait until after the next circuit (or you will have one hell of a detour to take).

Resting time is over. Now it’s time to do some quests.

Take the road east from Dolanaar and follow it to Starbreeze Village.

Along the way, kill:

  • Nightsabers for Nightsaber Fangs (3).
  • Strigid Owls for Strigid Owl Feathers (3).
  • Webwood Lurkers for Webwood Spider Silk (3) and Small Spider Legs (7).

1: Go to the moonwell (63.58) west of Starbreeze Village.

Fill the Jade Phial.

2: Enter Starbreeze Village and fight your way to the second floor of the first building to your right.

Gaerolas Talvethren (66.58) should be lying on the floor.

Turn in [6] A Troubling Breeze. Get [6] Gnarlpine Corruption.

3: Go to the small house to the east (68.59).

You should find Tallonkai’s Dresser.

Loot the Emerald Dreamcatcher.

This is a good place for early grinding of Linen Cloth. Stay for a while if you want to be a Tailor.

4: Go west to Denalan at Lake Al’Ameth (60.68).

Go crazy along the herb path if you’re a Herbalist.

Turn in [5] Denalan’s Earth and wait for the short sequence.

Get:

  • [7] Timberling Seeds.
  • [7] Timberling Sprouts.

Stay in this area until you have:

  • Killed Timberlings for 8 Timberling Seeds.
  • Looted 12 Timberling Sprouts.
  • Hit level 7.

Level 7

When you’re done. Go back to Denalan (60.68) and turn in both quests.

Get [7] Rellian Greenspyre.

1: Go north to Zenn Foulhoof (60.56).

Make sure you complete [5] Zenn’s Bidding along the way.

Turn it in and save the Severed Voodoo Claw you get as reward.

Keep killing spiders in the area until you complete [7] Recipe of the Kaldorei (if you haven’t already).

2: Go to Fel Rock north of Dolanaar at (55.53). Fight your way inside.

We’re going to kill Lord Melenas, a nasty little guy. Take a right and pass a small pond. He usually spawns on the bottom floor or on top of the ledge.

NOTE: He hits very hard for his level. If you’re a caster, pull him from max range and use Severed Voodoo Claw on him. It will reduce his damage a little. He usually has two adds and will transform into a cat during the fight. As long as you manage to loot him, it doesn’t matter if the adds will kill you. Make sure you’re at least about 2500 EXP from level 8 and then attack him.

Kill him and loot Melena’s Head.

Done? Don’t want to fight your way back out again? Go to the nearest mob and offer your piñata services. Ress on the graveyard and run to Dolanaar. You shouldn’t get any penalty.

Turn in:

  • [5] Crown of the Earth at Corithras Moonrage (56.61). Get [9] Crown of the Earth.
  • [6] Gnarlpine Corruption at Athridas Bearmantle (55.57). Get [9] The Relics of Wakening.
  • [6] The Emerald Dreamcatcher and [7] Twisted Hatred at Tallonkai Swiftroot (55.56). Get [8] Ferocitas the Dream Eater.
  • [7] Recipe of the Kaldorei at Zarrin (57.61).

Level 8

Get [7] Seek Redemption! from Sentinel Kyra Starsong (56.59), Syral Bladeleaf (56.57) or Moon Priestess Amara (she’s riding a white tiger).

If you’re an Alchemist with a skill level of at least 20, a unique quest is available for you. Take [8] Elixirs for the Bladeleafs from Syral Bladeleaf (56.57). I won’t tell you when to turn this in. Do it at your own speed and turn it in whenever you can. However, you need 10 Silverleaf, 6 Earthroot and 8 Empty Vials to complete it.

Sell junk. Repair. Restock if needed. Visit your class trainer.

NOTE: Now we have quests spread out all over the zone which will feel like a detour. But this is the circuit I recommend doing for the best result in shortest amount of time possible:

1: Go east to just north of Starbreeze Village (68.53) and pick up Fel Cones along the way.

Kill:

  • 7 Gnarlpine Mystics.
  • Ferocitas the Dream Eater for Tallonkai’s Jewel (you need to loot it from the Gnarlpine Necklace).

2: On the way back to Dolanaar, make sure you complete [7] Seek Redemption! and turn it in at Zenn Foulhoof (60.56).

Turn in [8] Ferocitas the Dream Eater at Tallonkai Swiftroot atop the tree.

Sell junk. Repair. Restock if needed.

We’re going to leave Dolanaar by the western exit. Take [8] The Road to Darnassus from Moon Priestess Amara who is patrolling the road.

Follow the road west all the way to Darnassus.

Stop by the Leatherworking and Skinning Trainer in a house at (41.50) if you are interested in those professions.

In Darnassus you can take a minute to visit the AH, the bank or learn Fishing.

This is a decent time to take that detour to Auberdine if you want to be a Miner. Go into the portal at the bank and then fly from Rut’theran Village to Auberdine. Learn the profession and take the same way back. If you don’t want this detour, you will get another chance soon.

Go to Rellian Greenspyre in Cenarion Enclave (38.21).

Turn in [7] Rellian Greenspyre. Get [9] Tumors.

1: Leave Darnassus and go south to the moonwell at (42.67).

Fill the Tourmaline Phial.

You should be level 9 or close.

Level 9

Fight your way back up to the road and go east to (46.52).

1: Kill 6 Gnarlpine Ambushers.

2: Enter Ban’ethil Barrow Den at (43.58).

NOTE: This is hard at level 9 so be careful not to pull too many mobs. Don’t be cocky and overestimate yourself. If you play carefully, you should be able to pull this off quite smoothly.

We’re going to find four relics:

  • Black Feather Quill (43.61) across the first bridge in the first chamber.
  • Rune of Nesting (44.60) in another room in the same chamber.
  • Sapphire of the Sky (44.62) in a room at the bottom of the chamber.
  • Raven Claw Talisman (45.57) is found if you take a left from the first chamber. You will soon see another bridge which you’ll have to cross. Enter a little room with a passageway going left. Take it and follow it to a balcony.

When you’re in the bottom chamber, fight your way across a bridge to a small room (44.61) where you’ll find Oben Rageclaw. Take his quest [8] The Sleeping Druid.

Kill Gnarlpine Shamans until one of them drops a Shaman Voodoo Charm.

Go back to Oben Rageclaw and turn in [8] The Sleeping Druid. Get [10] Druid of the Claw.

Go north from the bottom chamber to the northern most room which has three bridges. Rageclaw (45.59) is walking under them in a circle.

NOTE: He can be tough at level 9/10. As you engage, he will transform into a bear. Curse him with your Severed Voodoo Claw to reduce his damage.

Kill him and then use the Voodoo Charm.

Go back to Oben Rageclaw and turn in [10] Druid of the Claw.

If you’re not level 10 yet. Grind until you are.

Congratulations to your first talent point:

  • Druid: The smoothest way to level up a druid is by going through the Feral tree. Put your first talent point in Ferocity.
  • Hunter: I have leveled up hunters with both Marskmanship and Beastmastery before and I must say that both works very well. While Marksmanship adds more skills to the rotation, Beastmastery is the fastest of the two when it comes to leveling up (increased speed and reduced downtime for example). Put your first talent point in Improved Aspect of the Hawk.
  • Priest: If you want to heal in dungeons as you level up, put one point in Twin Disciplines (as Discipline is a good tree for combined damage and healing output). If you want to melt faces as you level up, put one point in Blackout (this is however a build that will need to be swapped at about level 20/30 for something more efficient at the time, but can be life-saving now at early levels).
  • Rogue: Put 1 point in Improved Sinister Strike.
  • Warrior: Put 1 point in Armored to the Teeth.

Hearthstone back to Dolanaar.

Turn in:

  • [8] The Road to Darnassus at Moon Priestess Amara (who’s patrolling on a white tiger).
  • [9] Crown of the Earth at Corithras Moonrage (56.61). Get [11] Crown of the Earth.
  • [9] The Relics of Wakening at Athridas Bearmantle (55.57). Get [12] Ursal the Mauler.

Sell junk. Repair. Restock. Visit your class trainer.

Druid: Get the quest [10] Heeding the Call from Kal (56.60).

Hunter: Get the quest [10] Taming the Beast at Dazalar (56.59).

Go directly east and use the Taming Rod to tame a Webwood Lurker. Go back to Dazalar and turn in the quest. Get the follow up.

Rogue: Get [10] The Apple Falls from Jannok Breezesong (56.59).

Warrior: Get [10] Elanaria from Kyra Windblade (56.59).

Go west along the road to Darnassus. The road will fork at around (38.53).

Hunter: Go south and use the rod to tame a Nightsaber Stalker. Run back and turn in the quest. Take the follow up and return here.

Rogue: Enter Darnassus and turn in [10] The Apple Falls at Syurna (36.21). Get [10] Destiny Calls.

Take the path north until you end up in the Oracle Glade (38.33).

There’s an Enchanter Trainer here.

1: There’s a moonwell at (38.34).

Fill the Amethyst Phial.

Get [11] The Enchanted Glade from Sentinel Arynia Cloudsbreak.

2: Continue north to (34.28) where you’ll find Strange Fronded Plant.

Take [10] The Shimmering Frond.

Rogue: Go north to (37.21). You should find Sethir the Ancient. Stealth up, sneak behind him and pickpocket Sethir’s Journal.

Go south to (34.33) and kill what we love the most: harpies.

Stay in the area until you’ve looted 6 Bloodfeather Belts.

NOTE: West at (31.31) is an escort quest. Ignore it for now and focus on brutally slaughtering those harpies and strip them of their belts.

3: When you’re done, go to (31.31) and take [12] Mist from Mist.

NOTE: This is the kind of escort quest where the NPC will follow you instead of the usual opposite. A 10 minute timer will appear and you must get to the destination before it runs out. It could be wise to clear the area of harpies before you start the timer. Just go back to the moonwell and you’re done. Shouldn’t take more than a minute or two unless you get ambushed.

When you’re back at Sentinel Arynia Cloudsbreak (38.33), turn in:

  • [11] The Enchanted Glade.
  • [12] Mist.

Get [11] Teldrassil.

4: Go east to Wellspring River at (42.34).

Kill Timberling Mire Beasts, Elder Timberlings and Timberling Trampers for Mossy Tumors (5).

Blackmoss the Fetid should be patrolling the river. Kill him and loot Moss-twined Heart. Click it and start the quest: [12] The Moss-twined Heart.

NOTE: This guy is a level 13 rare Timberling and he will hit you hard. This is another time when the Severed Voodoo Claws could come in handy.

Stay here until you’re level 11 if you aren’t already.

Level 11

  • Druid: Put 1 point in Ferocity.
  • Hunter: Put 1 point in Improved Aspect of the Hawk.
  • Priest: Put 1 point in Twin Disciplines or Blackout.
  • Rogue: Put 1 point in Improved Sinister Strike.
  • Warrior: Put 1 point in Armored to the Teeth.

Hunter: Make sure you have a Strigid Screecher tamed. Run back to Dazalar and turn in the quest. Get [10] Training the Beast.

Go to Darnassus.

Take [10] Nessa Shadowsong from Mydrannul (70.43) at the entrance to Darnassus.

Go to Rellian Greenspyre (38.21) and turn in [9] Tumors. Get [9] Return to Denalan.

Turn in [11] Teldrassil at Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm (34.8 ). Get [11] Grove of the Ancients.

NOTE: We won’t complete [11] Grove of the Ancients in this guide. If you don’t plan on leveling up in Darkshore you can abandon this quest. However, it gives 875 EXP so if you want to you can do it by taking a small detour when we go to Auberdine. However, I won’t tell you when to turn it in. If you plan on leveling in Darkshore after this guide, then save the quest.

Druid: Go to the inn and make Darnassus your home.

Turn in the quest [10] Heeding the Call at Mathrengyl Bearwalker (35.8 ). Get [10] Moonglade. Use the teleport now.

When in Moonglade. Turn in the quest at Dendrite Starblaze (56.30). Get [10] Great Bear Spirit.

Go west to (39.28 ) and talk to the bear spirit. Then go back to Dendrite Starblaze and turn in the quest. Get [10] Back to Darnassus. Hearthstone back to Darnassus.

Turn in [10] The Bounty of Teldrassil at Vesprystus (58.94). Get [10] Flight to Auberdine.

Fly over to Auberdine and turn in the quest at Laird (36.44). Get [10] Return to Nessa.

This is your last chance to get your Mining profession.

Druid: Go east to the cave at (43.46). Use the Cenarion Moondust on the Moonkin Stone and summon Lunaclaw. Defeat him.

Fly back to Teldrassil and turn in [10] Return to Nessa at Nessa Shadowsong.

Druid: Turn in [10] Body and Heart at Mathrengyl Bearwalker. Enjoy your new bear form.

Take your time to visit the AH, sell junk, repair and restock.

Go west to Dolanaar (or hearthstone if you’re a Hunter, Priest or Rogue).

Warrior: Along the way, go south to (47.63). You need to follow a road up the mountain. Kill Vorlus Vilehoof and loot Horn of Vorlus. Hearthstone back to Dolanaar.

Turn in [11] Crown of the Earth at Corithras Moonrage (56.61). Get [11] Crown of the Earth.

You should be close to level 12 by now. If not, no big deal.

Level 12

  • Druid: Put 1 point in Ferocity.
  • Hunter: Put 1 point in Improved Aspect of the Hawk.
  • Priest: Put 1 point in Twin Disciplines or Blackout.
  • Rogue: Put 1 point in Dual Wield Specialization.
  • Warrior: Put 1 point in Armored to the Teeth.

Go south-east to Denalan at Lake Al’Ameth (60.68).

Turn in:

  • [9] Return to Denalan. Get [9] Oakenscowl.
  • [10] The Shimmering Frond. Get [10] The Sprouted Fronds. It will be completed right away.
  • [12] The Moss-twined Heart. Get [12] Planting the Heart.

Plant the Tainted Heart in Denalan’s Planter. This will complete [12] Planting the Heart.

1: Go west to (53.75). You should find Oakenscowl in a cave.

NOTE: He shouldn’t be any problem to kill at your level. If you would accidentally pull an add or two, just curse him with your Severed Voodoo Claw (if you have charges left) to reduce his damage.

Kill him and loot Gargantuan Tumor.

2: Go west to the Strange Fruited Plant at (42.75).

Get [10] The Glowing Fruit.

3: Continue west to (39.80).

You should find Ursal the Mauler patrolling in his camp.

NOTE: He’s level 12 and can be difficult for some classes. Fortunately, it’s possible to pull him solo if you watch his route and pull him at the right time. Use your Severed Voodoo Claw to curse him (if you still have charges left) and the fight shouldn’t be any problem.

Run back east to Denalan (60.68) and turn in [9] Oakenscowl and [10] The Glowing Fruit.

Go north-west to Dolanaar and turn in [12] Ursal the Mauler at Athridas Bearmantle (55.57).

Sell junk. Repair. Restock. Visit your class trainer.

Go to Darnassus.

Warrior: Turn in [10] Vorlus Vilehoof at Elanaria (57.35).

Turn in [11] Crown of the Earth at Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm (34.8 ).

You should be level 13 or close.

CataclysmI just wanted to let you guys know that I’m not dead. I’m currently not playing the game because of studies, but I might come back to update/rework this guide with Cataclysm. Until then, there will be no updates.

Awesome guideI have used a couple guides leveling toons mostly the night elf. I am an altoholic and this is exactly how I quest when leveling a night elf. It is very easy and I strongly suggest picking up herbing here it is loaded here with them. Even if you are just a gatherer. I have yet to see an area that is better for starting out herbing on the alliance anyway. Thanks for writing this guide. I know it will help someone…. 🙂

Great!I just used this guide to level a druid and I thought it was fantastic! I liked that it told you when to do certain tasks for your class and the color coding was very nice as well! This guide looked very professional and was easy to read.

The only thing I would have liked to see more of was the pictures of the map with the numbers on them coorasponding to certain tasks. I personally think that those are faster (and sometimes easier) to use than coordinates.

    Thanks for this guide!! 🙂

Awesome! I’ve just had a :jawdrop:

Awesome! I’ve just had a quick look through the guide and this looks absolutely incredible! I’ve leveled multiple night elves, some solo some with Taralom’s guide and have found some differences in what I like to do solo (such as getting Crown of the Earth updated when I am in the area :P) and what he does in his guide. Your style is definitely more identifiable to me and I will see how this guide works as soon as it’s converted to addon format 🙂 (I have no knowledge of coding at all…)

Keep up the good work man!

Amazing!Bravo! What a nice guide, you even included professions and talent points! A++ ^^

There is a chain quest that could be done as well in Teldrassil: The temple of the Moon. That included defeating Sathrah the spider, which is near the Oracle Glade. So it could be done together with Mist and the timberlings. If you include those, you have all the quests in Teldrassil I think (I am a perfectionist in that area lol). But without those quests, it is still an amazing guide, and I mean it!

It is highly recommendedIt is highly recommended that you kill him because you would miss out on some very useful Quest XP if you don’t. He patrols along the river and should be easily found if he’s not been killed by someone else. I recommend that you kill mobs along the river until you see him. It shouldn’t take that long and the extra XP from grinding is very useful as well.

Great guide!I love the text-formatting, very reader friendly, also ive never leveled a night elf faster, and im a registered altoholic 😀

Is it crucial that i do the part that includes “Blackmoss the fetid” I am unable to find him whereever i look, around that river.

Thanks again, hope to see future guides this good!

    Quote:Are you planning on
Are you planning on writing a Darkshore 12 – 20 leveling guide? Even though we already have two Eastern Kingdom level 12 – 20 guides and one for Bloodmyst, we don’t seem to have any Darkshore guide. In my expierence Darkshore was one of the most enjoyable 12 – 20 zones and a follow guide written in the same quality you wrote this guide in would be awesome 🙂 . Just my thoughts.
I’m working on a Darkshore part. Will probably take a couple of weeks before it’s done, but I’m trying to get even better quality than this guide.

    Woah, that’s a greatWoah, that’s a great guide!

A Night Elf was the first race I leveled (and now still my main) and looking at this guide; it looks like a missed a lot on the way! Professions, class quests and a very fast leveling circuit; looks awesome :). Jame like quality.

I’ll convert it into addon format if no one else has offered already.

Awesome work Manovan. Are you planning on writing a Darkshore 12 – 20 leveling guide? Beautifully done. I’ll putBeautifully done. I’ll put this one up for addon conversion, hopefully someone will step up and do it soon 😉

Suggestion: shrink down the size of some of the images. Some of them are really big, and the image would still be just as useful is it were smaller. Like for example the moonwell screenshot, and a few others.

    Keep it up!
