Hello in this guide I will tell you how to make gold without any addons this is my first guide so please leave comment on problems or ideas for the guide. Thanks!Smiling

1.Questing
-You must quest for xp
-Higher lvl means more money for questing

Ok so you are lvl 1 and have no money to even purchase skills what do you do you must quest and get some money once you have goten to a major city (stormwind, orgrimmer)and learn two skills learn two skills.

Blacksmithing-Mining
Leatherworking-Skining
Enginering-Mining

2.Gathering mats
-Start with low lvl zones
-Quest as you go expensive mats are in higher lvl zones

Quest until you start finding nodes or kill if you are a skiner.
Now use thoose mats too make things with your other profession.
You want to do this untill your skill is very high 300 remebering to sell the stuff you are making on the way to vendors.
Remeber to quest i can not say this enough if you are not leveling then you can not lvl your professions and make and gather better things.
Sell only green, blue and purple things you make in the AH.

3.Class
-Your class is important hunters are great because they lvl fast and are always wanted in raids and instances.
-Priests are also needed in instances and raids were blues, greens, and purpules drop which are very valuable.

4.Instances
-Run things your lvl and sell the cloth and blues, greens, and purples
-Always use group loot
-When you hit lvl 60 i would recomend runing onyxias lair or the molten core in your spair time. Why?Because of the VERY VERY GOOD DROPS sulfurs hand of ragnos is just a bounus but the gold and even part of thunderfury is well worth it!
-Note:Better equipment means more pepole will want you in their partys for instances of raids.

5.Dailys
- Ok so yo have hit lvl 70 so do the sunwell dailys and the outland dailys also try to get raids for the black temple more gold and 2 more legendary weapons. Also you can run heroic: magistars terrance for the stars fury.

6.80
-well you have made it, now that you can do everything start working on the prequisite to the sons of hodir and do the dailys for the argent crusade.
-run naxx get good gear and eventually run uldar
-if you are a blaksmith make titanstell destoyers and sell them for 1200-1400g unenchanted and 1600g enchanted (with something good)

end
-well i hope you enjoyed this guide and may it help you please post comments and suggestions so i can make this guide better.

Abandoned Guide?

Submitted by Jiyambi on Mon, 2009-08-31 23:38.

Based on messages/comments from this author, I believe the guide has been abandoned. If I don't hear anything to the contrary in a week, I'm going to put it back to "Work in Progress" so it's not taking up space on the gold guide list.

Hey wowruler! It makes me

Submitted by eric on Mon, 2009-08-31 22:01.

Hey wowruler!
It makes me happy that you decided to contribute to WoW-Pro, here is my thoughts about this guide:

  1. Lots of Grammatical Errors
Like the other users of WoW-pro has already told you, grammar is the main problem with this guide.

  2. Poor content
Only thing I can say is that step 3-6, is wrong. I'm sure that you havn't even played a character higher than level 30, next time make a better research, or make sure you actually know what you're talking about. The Legendary drops in Molten Core won't just drop on a single run, some people has consumed their life to get these weapons.

  3. Bad Formatting
Not any single BBtag or HTML tag is used in this guide. Check out Jame's Guide Writing Guide.

  4. Missleading tips/titles.
You got lots of missleading titles/tips, like the Class tip. A priest is not better than a druid or a warrior, the class is not depending for gold making. The very title of your guide does not fit the information. First of all: Drop the "V1.00". Next: No need to tell this is done without Add-ons, isn't that pretty obvious Sticking out tongue? And finally: Remove the caps.

I'm sorry to say all these bad things about the guide, but my only suggestion is to take it back to "Work in Progress" and start on a fresh, get a guy to help you with the grammar, and take your time to gather some information about the subject Smiling

Needs work.

1) There is very little information in this guide and there are many areas missing which should be included in a gold guide. For example, to mention a blacksmith making a certain item is so specific that it begs you to dedicate a "lucrative benefit" paragraph to each of the professions. Also, leaving out the use of the AH is a glaring omission.
2) Some suggestions are off the topic. eg. "Better equipment means more pepole will want you in their partys"
(thumbs up for spelling "their" correctly where so many get it wrong)
3) Also, some of the suggestions are misleading or wrong. eg "Always use group loot", "Run things your lvl"; these are just wrong.
4) The grammar and spelling is atrocious. eg "blaksmith make titanstell destoyers" has 3 spelling errors in 4 words. The opening paragraph has 3 sentences written as though they were one. Have someone help with the grammar. Another set of eyes can help spot problems.
5) The tone changes in the guide about half way through item 4. Up to that point, there is a feeling of "these things have worked for me" in the statements. But from "When you hit lvl 60" to the end of the guide, the feeling changes to "I think these would be good things to do".
This guide needs work to be useful. I hope you can spend the time to make it into a guide that anyone (including you) would refer to when playing WOW.

As with your healing guide,

Submitted by Jiyambi on Tue, 2009-08-04 22:02.

As with your healing guide, I appreciate your contribution to the community. However, the same problems plague this guide as do the other.

  • Grammar and punctuation need serious work here. Formatting is nonexistent.
  • The advice itself is questionable.
    • Run Molten Core and Black Temple for legendaries? What? And the "Star's Fury" comes from Sunwell, the extremely difficult 25-man raid, NOT from Magister's Terrace. This is a gold making guide - organizing groups while under level cap to run these raids is definitely NOT, by any means shape or form, the best way to get money, even while leveling. They might be a fun diversion but they do not belong in gold making guide.
    • I know you play a hunter, and they do level fast. But "they are always wanted in groups for instances and raids" is really stretching it. Any DPS class will find it more difficult to get a spot in instances and raids than a tank or healer. I'm not saying its particularly hard, I'm just saying its definitely not a perk of the class to get easy group spots.
    • Doing dailies is not the best way to get gold while leveling. Usually dailies give less gold than normal quests.
    • Use mats to make things with your other profession? While leveling, it is generally considered better to sell the mats rather than trying to level a crafting profession along with it. There are exceptions, but I think overall selling the mats is a better option.
  • Finally, it sounds like this is also designed for people who are leveling and want to make gold as they go. You may want to say that somewhere near the top.

Again, thanks for your desire to contribute, and I hope you work hard to make this guide great. I linked some helpful guide-writing guides on your healing guide, check them out for ideas to improve.
