Guides and tips on how to level up your Horde character!
Howdy guys, this is me leveling guide for da horde.
I don't know why, but I somehow felt like writing one, or at least starting to write one, and this is it.
It's based on leveling as fast as possible as an undead.
The class I used in this guide is warrior.
I "tried" to use Jame's style of writing, however this is more the version of Bigger, Longer and Uncut, I'd say, anyway.
Have fun and g'd luck!
Level 1:
You’ll start out in Shadow Grave which is a part of the undead starting area called Tirisfal Glades.
Walk up the stairs and get the quest Rude Awakening from Undertaker Mordo.
Run north until you reach Deathknell.
Enter the church at your left and turn in Rude Awakening at Shadow Priest Sarvis.
Get the follow-up The Mindless Ones from Shadow Priest Sarvis.
Now start killing the Mindless and Wretched Zombies just north of the church. Kill the 8 of each, while killing you should be level 2.
Level 2:
Keep on killing them until you are 170 xp away from level 3 and completed the quest.
Go back to Shadow Priest Sarvis and turn in the quest The Mindless Ones.
This will make you ding level 3.
Level 3:
Now get the following quests:
Your class quest from Shadow Priest Sarvis.
Rattling the Rattlecages from Shadow Priest Sarvis.
The Damned from Novice Elreth.
Sell/Repair in the house at the other side of the road and turn in your class quest.
Also when turning it in, learn your new skill(s) for level 2.
Now go west of Deathknell and start killing the Duskbats and Young Scavengers.
Keep on killing these until you’ve completed The Damned.
After that, go back to the north part of Deathknell and start killing the 12 Rattlecage Skeletons.
Remember: Don’t stop killing if there are no more Skeletons, kill some Zombies in meanwhile.
Keep on killing the Skeletons/Zombies until you have reached level 4 and you have completed Rattling the Rattlecages.
I killed about 3 or 4 zombies before I leveled and finished the quest.
Level 4:
After completing both quests go back to the church and:
Turn in The Damned at Novice Elreth and get the follow-up Marla’s Last Wish.
Turn in Rattling the Rattlecages at Shadow Priest Sarvis.
Go outside the church and get Scavenging Deathknell from Deathguard Saltain on your left.
Get Night Web’s Hollow from Executor Arren across the road.
Sell/Repair at the house next to him and get your new spells for level 4.
Search the houses behind the fence in Deathknell for Scavenged Goods, they look like a pile of boxes, you need 6 of those for Scavenging Deathknell. The tag Equipment Boxes when you mouse-over them though.
After getting the 6 boxes more north until you reach a little camp with some “named” mobs. (At location 36,61)
There, kill Samuel Fipps, or the other mobs when you have to wait for his respawn. We have to kill him for Marila’s Last Wish. Pick up Samuel’s Remains from him.
When you’ve done that, move west until you reach Night Web’s Hollow, (28,58).
Kill all the Young Night Web Spider’s outside.
You will need to kill 10 for the quest.
When done with that, or while waiting on respawns, go inside the cave and kill 8 Night Web Spiders.
Then go out of the cave and kill the remaining Young Night Web Spiders until you’ve completed Night Web’s Hollow.
After that run back to Deathknell and go to the graveyard and find Marla’s Grave. Which is just north of the church. “Use” it and get the complete message of Marla’s Last Wish.
Now turn in:
Scavenging Deathknell at Deathguard Saltain.
Night Web’s Hollow at Executor Arren and get the follow-up The Scarlet Crusade.
I hit level 5 after delivering this quest.
Level 5:
Turn in Marla’s Last Wish at Novice Elreth.
Sell/Repair.
Then move out east to the Scarlet camp, start killing all Scarlet Mobs until you’ve got 12 Scarlet Armbands.
After completing The Scarlet Crusade run back to Deathknell.
Turn in The Scarlet Crusade at Executor Arren and get the follow-up The Red Messenger.
Now go back to the Scarlet camp and kill Meven Korgal who’s at the most south tent.
Loot his Scarlet Crusade Documents. If you have to wait for his spawn, kill some other scarlets first for experience.
After you’ve completed the quest grind more scarlet mobs until you are 675 exp or less away from level 6. At that point, go back to Deathknell and
Turn in The Red Messenger at Executor Arren and get the follow-up Vital Intelligence. This will make you ding level 6.
Sell/Repair in the house next to him and learn your new class spells at your trainer.
Level 6:
Follow the road north-east until you reach Calvin Montague, get A Rogue’s Deal from him.
Keep on following the road north-east until the road splits, talk to Deathguard Simmer there and get the quest Fields of Grief.
Take the road left and go to the Solliden Farmstead. When arrived there, get 10 Tirisfal Pumpkin out of the big pumpkins at the farm.
You need to kill the farmers sometimes to access the pumpkins.
After completing the quest go back east until you’re back on the road.
Keep following the road east until you reach Brill.
While running to Brill, find Gordo somewhere on the road, he’s big, you’ll notice him, and get the quest Gordo’s Task.
Continue your road to Brill and collect any Gloom Weed you can find on your way there. Gloom Weed is a purple-like plant.
Note: It’s not needed to get 3 already. It’s just a bonus for later.
When entering Brill accept the quest A Putrid Task from Deathguard Dillinger on your left.
Also:
Turn in Fields of Grief at Apothecary Johaan and get the follow-up Fields of Grief.
Also get the quest A New Plague from Apothecary Johaan.
Turn in Vital Intelligence at Executor Zygand.
Get the quest At War With The Scarlet Crusade from Executor Zygand.
Use the “Wanted!” poster behind him and get the quest Wanted: Maggot Eye.
Enter the big house next to him and get the quest Graverobbers from Magistrate Sevren.
Go to the inn.
Turn in A Rogue’s Deal at Innkeeper Renee.
Talk to her again and “Make this inn your home”.
Go down to the basement and turn in Fields of Grief at Captured Scarlet Zealot.
Sell/Repair and then move out to the west.
Note: From now on, kill every Darkhound you see on your way and get every Gloom Weed until the quests are completed.
Follow the road until you hit Cold Hearth Manor.
There, kill the Ravaged Corpses and Rotting Dead until you’ve got 7 Putrid Claws for the quest A Putrid Task.
Note: They are also around the farm, if the ones ON the farm are all dead.
After completing A Putrid Task go west, back to Solliden Farmstead.
I dinged level 7 while killing the Darkhounds on my way there.
Level 7:
When I reached Solliden Farmstead, I had completed Gordo’s Task and A New Plague already by killing all Darkhounds and looting all Gloom Weed on your way there.
When you’re reached Solliden Farmstead, kill 10 Scarlet Warriors to complete At War With The Scarlet Crusade. These Scarlet Warriors are north and west of the actual `farm`.
Beware of pulling too much at once, they are sometimes hard to notice and your an easy pray at this level.
When you´re done killing the 10 Scarlet Warriors and you´ve completed At War With The Scarlet Crusade, you will have to grind the Scarlet mobs there until you are 1890 or less xp away from level 8. Which will take around 45 kills more.
1: When you´ve already completed Gordo´s Task and A New Plague, hearthstone to Brill.
2: When you haven´t finished those 2 quests, go east and finish ´em in the forest. Then hearthstone once your ready.
After you´ve arrived in Brill, get the two quests from Coleman Farthing next to you, Deaths in the Family and The Haunted Mills.
Don´t take the quest from Gretchen Dedmar, The Chill of Death, because it´s a waste of time.
Then go outside the inn, turn in At War With The Scarlet Crusade at Executor Zygand and get the follow-up with the same name, At War With The Scarlet Crusade.
Now go to Apothecary Johaan and turn in A New Plague, get the follow-up, A New Plague.
Go more west until you meet Deathguard Dillinger and turn in A Putrid Task, get the follow-up The Mills Overrun. Then go a bit to the north and speak to Junior Apothecary Holland at the Brill Graveyard and turn in Gordo´s Task, this should make you ding level 8. Accept the follow-up Doom Weed and run back to Brill.
Level 8:
Go learn your new class spells.
Sell and Repair and:
Get the quest Proof of Demise from Deathguard Burgess.
After that, go south-west until you reach a big tower with Scarlet mobs around it, (51, 68), when there, do the quests At War With The Scarlet Crusade and Proof of Demise by killing 3 Scarlet Zealots outside the tower, Captain Perrine inside and 3 Scalet Missionary’s behind the tower. Keep grinding them until you’ve comleted both quests, because for Proof of Demise you need Scarlet Insignia Rings which drop from all of the Scarlet mobs there, you need 10 of those.
You can see it as a little grinding session, grind the Scarlet Insignia Rings until you’ve completed it and are 1800 or less exp from leveling.
Now, we are done here, move out to the north and a slight west. You’ve got to go to the left of the Mountains in the north of the land, this place is called Agamand Mills.
Once you’ve arrived there, this is what we’re going to do here.
Note: While killing here you might find A Letter to Yvette, it’s a quest item which you start by right-clicking on it and accepting the quest. If you’ve found the Letter, keep it.
The Mills Overrun: Kill every Darkeye Bonecaster that you see, you’ll need to get 3 Blackened Skull’s from them. Also kill all Rattlecage Soldiers until you’ve got 5 of their Notched Ribs.
The Haunted Mills: You need to kill Devlin Agamand. He’s mostly around (47,40), and loot his Devlin’s Remains.
Deaths in the Family.
These 3 guys are all at or around the Agamand Mills. I found Thurman Amagand at (43,41). And I found Gregor Agamand at (44,30). And lats but not least, Nissa Amagand at (49, 36), at the entrance of the house.
You should now be very close to leveling or already be level 9 at this moment.
Level 9:
Hearthstone back to Brill.
Turn in Deaths In The Family and The Haunted Mills at Coleman Farthing behind you and get the follow-up Speak with Sevren.
Also deliver A Letter Undelivered to Yvette Farthing if you’ve got to loot the “A Letter To Yvette” quest earlier.
Now go outside the Inn and turn in Proof of Demise at Deathguard Burgess and At War With The Scarlet Crusade at Executor Zygand close to him. Get the follow-up of At War With The Scarlet Crusade.
Enter Brill Town Hall and talk to Magistrate Sevren.
Note: This is only if you have found the A Letter To Yvette earlier.
Turn in the Speak with Sevren and accept the quest The Family Crypt.
Go outside and move west and turn in the quest The Mills Overrun at Deathguard Dillinger.
You’re not supposed to be able of getting the follow-up yet.
Sell/Repair and get ready for the next round.
Go north of Brill, this time at the east side of the Mountains.
Follow the road and you’ll eventually reach at place with alot of Rot Hide Graverobbers, you need to kill 8 of these for the quest Graverobbers and besides that, loot 10 Doom Weed from the ground, it’s again the purple-like plant, we need them for the quest Doom Weed.
The Graverobbers give you a curse that gives –2 spirit, don’t bother about it.
Also loot every Embalming Ichor there, we need 8 of them for the quest Graverobbers.
You don’t have to get all 8 before we continue, there are more Rot Hides later that drop ‘em.
After completing the Doom Weed quest and having killed 8 Rot Hide Graverobbers, run further north-east until you reach a farm. It’s called Garren’s Haunt. When you’re there, make your way to the middle of the farm and keep and eye open for Rot Hide Mongrels, you need to kill 5 of ‘em for Graverobbers quest, these are also in the northern part of the farm, kill every Rot Hide there if there’s no more Mongrel’s or when you haven’t got all Embalming Ichors yet.
When done with both you have completed the quests Graverobbers and Doom Weed.
Then move to the north of the farm and kill Maggot Eye, a mob that can be found in the house there at (58,30), he’s level 10 so he should be solo-able. Loot his Maggot Eye’s Paw and thereby complete the quest Wanted: Maggot Eye.
Go north until you hit the coast, start killing the Vile Fin murlocs there and grin them until you’ve got 5 Vile Fin Scales for the A New Plague quest.
Then walk/hearthstone back to Brill.
When in Brill turn in the quest Wanted: Maggot Eye at Executor Zygand outside the church. This made me level up to 10.
Level 10:
Enter the Townhall, a.k.a. church, and turn in Graverobbers at Magistrate Sevren.
Accept a new quest, Forsaken Duties but don’t get the other one yet.
Go outside and get to the Alchemy House, there turn in A New Plague at Apothecary Johaan and get the follow-up A New Plague.
Note: The quest reward Slumber Sand might come handy on difficult mobs to solo later, so keep it.
Don’t take the other quest yet.
Go to Brill Graveyard and turn in Doom Weed at Junior Apothecary Holland.
Walk back to Brill and get your class skills. Plus you can spend your first talent point now.
From your class trainer also get your class quest.
Sell/Repair and Prepare for new round!
After that, I did the following: Go to the other camp which is located at (65, 60), there, turn in Forsaken Duties and get the follow-up Return To The Magistrate, also get the quest Rear Guard Patrol. Now head east along the road until you reach Balnir Farmstead, (75, 60). When there, start killing 8 Bleeding Horror and 8 Wandering Spirits for the Rear Guard Patrol quest.
After you’re done with that quest, you’ll go north up the hill and to the Scarlet Outpost (79, 55).
Get east of the tower and kill 5 Scarlet Friars and Captain Vachon in the tower.
In the tower Captain Vachon has a Scarlet Friar as guard, he heals, so I used the Slumber Sand, quest reward from earlier, to sleep the Friar.
After finishing the quest go east to a area called Venomweb Vale, start killing the spiders to get the 4 Vicious Night Web Spider Venom’s from them.
I leveled to 11 when killing the spiders.
Level 11:
Then I got all the 4 Venom’s.
Hearthstone back to Brill.
Turn in:
At War With The Scarlet Crusade at Executor Zygand.
Return to the Magistrate at Magistrate Sevren.
A New Plague at Apothecary Johaan, get follow-up A New Plague.
Go to Gallows’ End Tavern (The Inn) and go to the basement, there turn in A New Plague at Captured Mountaineer.
After doing that, move out of the Inn and go south-east back to the other camp and turn in Rear Guard Patrol at Deathguard Linnea.
Now I’m going to try to solo my class-quest, you do so too.
Don’t worry if you can’t solo this, it’s not that easy, I didn’t succeed in it either, look for a group to do it then and if you can’t, continue to do other quests first further along the guide and try to find a group while questing.
So I went to Agamand Mills.
In the north-east part of Agamand Mills kill 8 Wailing Ancestors and 8 Rotting Ancestors.
After you’ve killed all of those, enter the Agamand Family Crypt in the north.
Go down whole the way and kill Dargol and loot his Dargol’s Skull.
Leveled 12 on fighting my way out.
Didn’t level yet? Grind the mobs outside until you do.
Level 12:
After that I went outside and killed all mobs there until I was about 5 blobs into level 12.
Then I walked back to Brill and turned in my warrior quest and Agamand Herilooms, followed by Heirloom Weapon which you can turn in immediatly. Also I turned in Family Crypt.
Then I went to train skills and Sell/Repair.
Now go to the far north-east until you are somewhere around the Scarlet Monastery.
The mobs there are level 30+, don’t try to attack ‘em.
When yer at (81, 39) take the left road.
Follow it and kill all Scarlet mobs on the way while you go to the tower at the end of the road.
The place you’ll enter is called Scarlet Watch Post.
Inside the tower there’s 2 Scarlet Bodyguards and Captain Melrache, it shouldn’t be hard killing them solo.
When done with them, hearthstone back to Brill and turn in the quest At War With The Scarlet Crusade at Executor Zygand.
Sell/Repair, and get the following quests:
Delivery to Silverpine Forest from Apothecary Johaan.
The Prodigal Lich from Magistrate Sevren.
Now go south and follow the blue arrow on yer minimap until you reach Undercity.
Go to the magic quarter and turn in The Prodigal Lich at Bethor Iceshard.
Accept the follow-up The Lich’s Identity.
Go to the Innkeeper and make Undercity yer home.
Now run back to Brill.
From Brill go north-east until you reach a lake called Brightwater Lake. Swim to the island in the middle and loot the The Lich’s Spellbook (67, 42) from the bigger island, called Gunther’s Retreat.
And off to Undercity we go. Magic Quarter again and turn in The Lich’s Identity at Bethor Iceshard, get the follow-up Return the Book.
What I did now was doing the quest Investigate the Scourge of the Undercity, but that quest is seasonable, I’ll give you some grindin’ spot later to get the experience I got for the quest, which is 525.
Now, get back to the Brightwater Lake and back to the Gunther’s Retreat island and turn in Return the Book at Gunther Arcanus.
Accept the follow-up Proving Allegiance, then “use” the Crate of Candles next to him and complete the quest Candles of Beckoning.
Move to the south-west until you reach the smaller island next to Gunther’s Retreat. When on it, kill the mobs on the island. It’s mostly just 2 or something, nothing to worry about.
Then, “use” Lillith’s Dinner Table in the middle of the island. Complete the quest The Dormant Shade and a level 12 mob named Lillith Nefara, kill her and (if you want to, it’s not neccesary) loot her quickly, because her body will dissapear. Then go back to Gunther’s Retreat and turn in Proving Allegiance at Gunther Arcanus. This made me level 13.
You haven’t leveled here yet? Grind the undead mobs around you until you do!
Level 13:
Accept the follow-up, The Prodigal Lich Returns. Then walk back to Undercity and turn in The Prodigal Lich Returns at Bethor Iceshard in Magic Quarter.
Congratulations! You have completed the first part of this guide.
Now ye can do some Ragefire Chasm, it’s an instance in Orgrimmar.
Plus, here is a guide of Jame that will guide you through Ragefire Chasm.
http://http://www.wow-pro.com/node/575
Greetings!
Welcome to the second part of Bloodbane’s Leveling Guide for the horde.
Last part we’ve went through Tirisfal Glades and Ragefire Chasm.
In this part we are running through the following areas:
· Silverpine Forest
· The Barrens
· Wailing Caverns (instance)
· Stonetalon Mountains
Alright, now, before we start I want to note that I was level 16 when I started this second part. How did I get to level 16 from level 13 where we ended last guide? Read the way I did Ragefire Chasm three times.
First I picked up the quest from Neeru Fireblade, Slaying the Beast, and the quest from Varimathras in Undercity, The Power to Destroy.
Now I went into Ragefire Chasm and did a succesfull complete run.
After that I did another run, I didn’t have any quests this run, but I thought, the exp is great, so why not?
After that second run I went to Thrall in Orgrimmar and started the quest line of Hidden Enemies, ending up with the Ragefire Chasm quest to kill Jergosh and Bazzalan.
After that I went to Thunder Bluff and went to Elder Rise and picked up Searching for the lost Satchel and Testing an Enemy’s Strength from Rahauro.
Now I went finding another group for Ragefire Chasm and did another succesfull run. Due all the delivering of quests along the road I leveled 16 when delivering the final part of Hidden Enemies at Thrall to get the weapon.
Aren’t you level 16 yet? Remember how much exp you are away from it and we’ll get to a grinding spot, then you grind that amount of exp there.
Now, let’s get back to the guide.
Level 16:
Hearthstone to Undercity.
Sell/Repair and learn you new class skills.
Then go to the bank in the middle of Undercity and put yer Slumber Sand on the bank. If you’ve still got your Lieutenant’s Insignia, just destroy it, you won’t need it anymore.
Make sure you do have the quest item Johaan’s Findings in your inventory because you’ll need it.
Now make your way out of Undercity and take the road west and makes a turn south and continue following it.
When you reach Silverpine Forest, start looking for Worgs and loot Discolored Worg Hearts because you’ll need 6 of those.
Make your way to Malden’s Orchard which is around (57, 10).
There, enter the little house at (56, 9) and talk to Deathstalker Erland and get the quest:
· Escorting Erland
Now escort Deathstalker Erland until you reach Ivar’s Patch and turn in the quest Escorting Erland at Rane Yorich at (53, 13). Accept the follow up and get the other quest:
· The Deathstalkers’ Report
· Wild Hearts
We are now at a spot that you might like for grindin’ the remaining exp you remember from earlier that you needed until 16, grind that amount of exp here.
At this time I had 8 Discolored Worg Hearts, so that’s more than enough.
Don’t have enough yet? Go back to Malden’s Orchard and grind some more Worgs.
Then get back on the road and go further south until you reach a split-up. You can go more south or you can go west. For now, go west and we’ll reach The Sepulcher, this is the horde camp in Silverpine Forest.
Get the flightpath and then turn in the quests:
· Delivery to Silverpine Forest at Apothecary Renferrel.
· Wild Hearts at Apothecary Renferrel.
· The Deathstalkers’ Report at High Executor Hadrec.
Then get the quests:
· The Dead Fields from High Executor Hadrec.

· Beren’s Peril from Shadow Priest Allister.
· Prove Your Worth from Dalar Dawnweaver.
Note: This quest is grey and therefore you won´t see a big yellow mark above Dalar Dawnweaver, nontheless get the quest.
Sell/Repair and set your Hearthstone to The Sepulcher.
Right outside The Sepulcher kill 5 Moonrage Whitescalps.
Run back to The Sepulcher and turn in:
· Prove Your Worth at Dalar Dawnweaver.
Get the follow-up:
· Arugal´s Folly from Dalar Dawnweaver.
Go north until you get to the bridge at around (49, 29) and after you´ve crossed it, go east and you´ll hit Valgan´s Field.
Now enter the big house there and run up the stairs while killing everything on the way. At the last room there are Dusty Spellbooks on the ground, use them and get Remedy of Arugal.
Now get back on the road and head north until you reach Ivar’s Patch again.
Turn in:
· Return to Quinn at Quinn Yorich.
Get quest:
· Ivar the Foul from Rane Yorich.
Now go to the barn close to you at (51, 13) and clear all mobs in front of it.
Then enter the barn and kill Ivar the Foul and loot his Ivar’s Skull.
Run back to Rane Yorich and turn in:
· Ivar the Foul at him.
Then go west through the forest and kill every mob you see for experience.
Keep an eye open for Grizzled Bears because we need them for quest items.
Then you’ll reach The Dead Fields. You’ll get the complete message of “Enter the Dead Fields” which is part of the The Dead Fields quest. Keep killing all Rot Hide mobs there until you see a ghost in the middle of the farm called Nightlash, kill her and loot her Essence of Nightlash.
After that continue your way west and still kill all mobs on your way.
At some time, you’ll reach an area called The Skittering Dark. There are a lot of Moss Stalker’s. Kill them until you have 6 Skittering Blood. You might have to go into the cave at (53, 13) to kill more spiders if the ones outside are all dead.
If you, during killing the spiders and bears, tend to get a full inventory. Don’t run back to The Sepulcher but go to the Fisherman, Killian Sanatha, at (33, 17) close to the spider cave.
Now, continue killing spiders and bears until you´ve got 6 Grizzled Bear Hearts and 6 Skittering Blood´s. I got all of these short after I sold my stuff.
Hearthstone to The Sepulcher.
Turn in:
· The Dead Fields at High Executor Hadrec.
· Arugal´s Folly at Dalar Dawnweaver.
Get the follow-ups:
· The Decrepit Ferry at High Executor Hadrec.
· Arugal´s Folly at Dalar Dawnweaver.
Get on the road again and now go south until around (52, 60) when you will hit a Dalaran Camp at your right hand, meaning west.
During the cleaning of the camp I leveled 17, if you haven´t, grind the mobs there until you are level 17 and after that, turn in the quest.
Level 17:
The camp itself is around (49, 60) and that´s where you´ll find the Dalaran Crate, use it and complete:
· Border Crossings.
Get the follow-up:
· Maps and Runes.
Get on the road and go north until you get to (51, 36), from there, go east until you reach (58, 35), kill every mob on the way there. You should reach the area called The Decrepit Ferry.
At (58, 34) you´ll find a Corpse Laden Boat, use it and complete:
· The Decrepit Ferry.
Get the follow-up:
· Rot Hide Clues.
Run back to The Sepulcher and turn in:
· Maps and Runes at Shadow Priest Allister.
Get the follow-up and walk between Shadow Priest Allister and Dalar Dawnweaver to turn in all the follow-ups until Shadow Priest Allister gives you:
· Ambermill Investigations.
Then turn in:
· Rot Hide Clues at High Executor Hadrec.
Get the follow-up:
· Rot Hide Ichor from High Executor Hadrec.
Don´t get the other quest yet.
Sell and Repair.
Now go north, and go to (44, 28) and start killing Moonrage Darksouls and Moonrage Gluttons. Move more to the west and you will find alot more. You need to keep killing them until you have got 3 Darksoul Shackle´s and 6 Glutton Shackle´s.
When you are done with that quest, go east until you hit the road again. From there, go more to the east and cross the water until you reach an island, called Fenris Island. On the island you´ll find alot ofRot Hide mobs, kill them all until you´ve got 8 Rot Hide Ichor´s.
Ps, you can get on land at (64, 32).
While grindin´ these you should find A Talking Head, an item that starts a quest.
If you do, use it and accept the quest:
· Resting in Pieces.
After getting the head, I got my last Rot Hide Ichor, so I have 8 now.
Now you got 2 choices, or rather, 3.
1. You haven´t looted A Talking Head, skip these stept and continue the guide.
2. You haven´t looted A Talking Head, however, grind more of the Rot Hide mobs until you do.
3. You have found the head. Continue with the next step and skip it if you want to continue the guide.
Optional (Head quest):
Go north on the island until you reach the castle.
When you enter the castle, take the right road when it splits up.
Note: At (67, 25) there could be the rare mob Rot Hide Bruiser, though he´s level 22.
At (67, 24) you will find a Swallow Grave. Use it and complete the quest:
· Resting in Pieces.
Get the follow-up:
· The Hidden Niche.
I solo´d the quest, as a warrior, so you could try to do so too, and if you cant make it you could always continue the guide and look for a group while you do that.
I managed to solo my way to the top of the Fenris Keep. When you´ve done that too, there will be a Dusty Shelf at (65, 24). Use it and complete:
· The Hidden Niche.
Get the follow-up:
· Wand to Bethor.
Then, hearthstone to The Sepulcher.
Turn in the quests:
· Rot Hide Ichor at Apothecary Renferrel.
· Arugal´s Folly at Dalar Dawnweaver.
This made me Honored with Undercity.
Now get the quests:
· The Engraved Ring from High Executor Hadrec.
· Zinge´s Delivery from Apothecary Renferrel.
· Supplying the Sepulcher from Deathguard Podrig.
Go to the Bat Handler, Karos Razok and turn in:
· Supplying the Sepulcher.
Get the follow-up:
· Ride to the Undercity.
Then buy a trip to Undercity.
When you arrive there, it´s time to turn in some quests:
· Ride to the Undercity at Gordon Wendham near the batrider. And get the follow-up Michael Garrett.
· Walk back to the Bat Handler, Michael Garrett, and turn in the quest Michael Garrett, accept the follow-up Return to Podrig.
· Wand to Bethor at Bethor Iceshard in Magic Quarter.
This made me level to 18!
Level 18:
· Rot Hide Origins at Bethor Iceshard in Magic Quarter.
· Accept the follow-up [=orange]Thule Ravenclaw.
· A Recipe For Death at Master Apothecary Faranell in Royal Apothecary Society part of Undercity.
· Zinge´s Delivery at Apothecary Zinge.
Get the two follow-ups of those last two quests you turned in called:
· Sample for Helbrim.
· A Recipe For Death.
Then, while still here, get your class skills from your trainer.
Now move out of Undercity to Brill.
There, turn in:
· The Engraved Ring at Magistrate Sevren.
Get the followup:
· Raleigh and the Undercity.
And back to Undercity we go.
Trade Quarter this time, turn in:
· Raleigh and the Undercity at Raleigh Andrean.
Get the followup:
· A Husband´s Revenge.
You can now put all your Uncommon items, a.k.a greens, on the Auction House. Ask a guard for directions if you don´t know where it is.
After you´re done in Undercity, but a ride to The Sepulcher from the Bat Handler.
Once there, turn in:
· Return to Podrig at Deathguard Podrig.
· Thule Ravenclaw at Apothecary Renferrel.
And get the follow-up:
· Report to Hadrec from Apothecary Renferrel.
Turn in:
· Report to Hadrec at High Executor Hadrec.
Get the follow-up:
· Assault on Fenris Island.
Then go east back on the road and go south.
Until you reach a road-split at (52, 47), there go left, or, east.
There you´ll discover the Deep Elem Mine.
Go into the actual mine and get to the back of it.
There, kill Grimson the Pale, and loot his Head of Grimson.
Note: From here to Ambermill you might want to check for Old Vicejaw, a bear rare mob, he is mostly east of the road.
After that get back on the road and continue going south.
At a split-up, at (54, 64), go left, you´ll reach Ambermill.
Start killin’ the Dalaran mobs and kill them until you have 8 Dalaran Pendant’s.
After you’re done with that, get back on the road and continue south.
At (53, 72) the roads splits up, take a right there. Right after that, at (51, 72), it splits up again, take a left there.
Kill some mobs on your way down the road, and watch out for the Son of Arugal patrolling there.
When the area is clear, look for the mob named Valdred Moray, he’s level 21 but should be solo-able at level 18, which I did.
Loot his Valdred’s Hands.
Then, on my way back north, I found a group for Pyrewood Village. We only have one quests for it yet, A Recipe For Death, but in the townhall you can get another, called Pyrewood Ambush, when you accept it the event will start, so watch out.
When your group is ready, accept the quest and there will be 4/5 groups, after that you can turn in the quest again.
However this group wasn’t the best, so I only got to complete Pyrewood Ambush.
After that I hearthstoned toThe Sepulcher.
There I turned in:
· Ambermill Investigations at Shadow Pirest Allister.
· Arugal’s Folly at Dalar Dawnweaver.
And get the follow-ups:
· The Weaver from Shadow Priest Allister.
· Arugal’s Folly from Dalar Dawnweaver.
Sell/Repair.
Now, last chance to find a group for Pyrewood Village. I didn’t get it, so it’s not really needed for the guide.
Okey, so instead of that go grind Ambermill until you are 1550 xp or less away from level 19.
Then run back to The Sepulcher, Sell and Repair and take a bat trip to Undercity.
For now, you can abandon the following quests, exept if you have already completed some of them ofcourse:
· A Recipe For Death.
· Arugal’s Folly.
· Beren’s Peril.
· The Weaver.
· Assault on Fenris Isle.
So when arrived in Undercity you can deliver the following quest:
· A Husband’s Revenge at Raleigh Andrean.
This should make you ding level 19.
Level 19:
Get out of Undercity and take the zeppelin to Orgrimmar.
From Orgrimmar take a flight to The Crossroads, or if you don’t have that yet, here is how to get there:
You walk out of Orgrimmar, follow the road until you hit around (48, 42) and take a right there, going west. Keep following the road, through Durotar and the start of The Barrens until you reach (53, 23), take a left there, going south, and you’ll be in Crossroads soon.
When there, deliver the following quest:
· Sample for Helbrim at Apothecary Helbrim.
Then gather some quests:
· Fungal Spores from Apothecary Helbrim.
· Egg Hunt from Korran.
· Supplies for the Crossroads from Thork.
· Harpy Raiders from Darsok Swiftdagger.
· Lost in Battle from Mankrik.
· Consumed by Hatred from Mankrik.
· The Forgotten Pools from Tonga Runetotem[/b]
Set your hearthstone to The Crossroads.
Okey, so from Crossroads, we move out to the east, or rather, north-east.
To an area called Thorn Hill.
So, I found the Crossroads’ Supply Crates at (59, 27).
From there, go south, get over the road until you reach a littl’ lake, called the Stagnant Oasis.
There, loot all the Laden Mushroom around the lake. I only got 2 Fungal Spores there, so don’t worry if you don’t get all 4, we’ll get to another lake later.
For now, get back on the road and continue going south.
At (49, 50) make a stop at the camp next to the road. There you’ll find a Beaten Corpse on the ground. Talk to it and “I inspect the body further”. Then you have found Mankrik’s Wife.
Continue going south, now, to the west there is a camp called Agama’gor. There, start killing Bristleback mobs because we need them to drop 60 Bristleback Quilboar Tusk’s for us. So happy grindin’.
After a “while” you will have all 60. Good job.
Now, go north again until you hit the Lushwater Oasis at around (46, 40).
There, use the last 2 Laden Mushrooms to get the last 2 Fungal Spores.
Okey, done that, go to the far north-west point of The Barrens and kill the Harpy’s there until you’ve got 8 Witchwing Talon’s. The area of the harpy’s is called The Dry Hills.
After you’ve got that, we’re going to make a visit to The Forgotten Pools, they are to the south-east of The Dry Hills, between there, and The Crossroads. The coordinates are (44, 22)’ish.
So, you must be warm walking around all day in The Barrens, an empty desert, therefore, take a swim in The Forgotten Pools to forget about your worries!
A.k.a. swim around the lake until you’ve got the complete message for The Forgotten Pools. I got the message at (45, 22) at the bubble place.
Now, finally, hearthstone to The Crossroads.
Time to turn in the quests!:
· The Forgotten Pools at Tonga Runetotem.
· Consumed by Hatred at Mankrik.
· Lost in Battle at Mankrik.
· Supplies for the Crossroads at Thork.
· Harpy Raiders at Darsok Swiftdagger.
· Fungal Spores at Apothecary Helbrim.
Get the following quests:
· Harpy Lieutenants from Darsok Swiftdagger.
· The Stagnant Oasis from Tonga Runetotem.
Now, get off yer lazy but and let’s get moving again!
Go south-east until you hit the Stagnant Oasis again.
When there, you need to swim to the bottom at (55, 42) and use the Bubbling Fissure.
After that, guess where we are going!
That’s right... Crossroads. Go north-west until you reach it and turn in:
· The Stagnant Oasis at Tonga Runetotem.
Get the follow-up:
· Altered Beings from Tonga Runetotem.
Now let’s go to the Lushwater Oasis which is south-west of The Crossroads.
Once there, kill the Oasis Snapjaw’s until you’ve got 8 Altered Snapjaw Shell’s.
I pretty much had a 100% droprate on them.
After that, go to the far north-west of the land, back to The Dry Hills.
When there, kill Witchwing Slayer’s to get the 6 Harpy Lieutenant Ring’s.
Then grind some more mobs until you are 2300 xp away from level 20.
Then hearthstone/run back to The Crossroads.
Turn in the quests:
· Altered Beings at Tonga Runetotem.
· Harpy Lieutenant’s at Darsok Swiftdagger.
You should ding level 20 here, congratulations!
Level 20:
Fly to Orgrimmar and learn your new spells there. Priests and Mages might have to go back to Undercity to learn them though.
In Orgrimmar I got my level 20 Warrior quest. After that, go back to The Crossroads.
Get the follow-ups:
· Serena Bloodfeather from Darsok Swiftdagger.
· Hamuul Runetotem from Tonga Runetotem.
· Mura Runetotem from Tonga Runetotem.
Then go west and when you are at (45, 28) get the following quests:
· Kolkar Leaders from Regthar Deathgate.
Then go north until you hit The Forgotten Pools.
You can find Barak Kodobane there at (42, 23), kill him and loot Barak’s Head.
After that go north-west until you hit The Dry Hills and find Serena Bloodfeather at the northern part of The Dry Hills. You can see her in the north when you stand at (39, 12), try to pull her with bow/gun/spells from there.
When done, run or hearthstone back to The Crossroads.
Turn in:
· Serena Bloodfeather at Darsok Swiftdagger.
Get the follow-up:
· Letter to Jin’Zil from Darsok Swiftdagger.
Sell/Repair and go west until you reach (45, 28), there, turn in:
· Kolkar Leaders at Regthar Deathgate.
Get the follow-up.
· Verog the Dervish from Regthar Deathgate.
Now start heading south until you hit a camp called Camp Taurajo, get the flightpath there.
Note: What I did here, was turning in my warrior quest.
I killed some mobs on my way there because it’s such a long way J.
Once there, get some quests:
· Melor Sends Word from Jorn Skyseer.
· Tribes at War from Mangletooth.
· Warrior quest: Trial at the Field of Giants from Ruga Ragetotem.
Now I started to run south to the Field of Giants, because the warrior quest had a 30 minutes timer.
After completing my warrior quest I ran back to Camp Taurajo and turned it in. Then I went back to Field of Giants to do the remaining things there.
So, back at Field of Giants, now let’s get those 12 Silithid Eggs by “using” the Silithid Mounds all over the place. They mostly drop 2 or 3 eggs each.
After a while I got all the 12 eggs, time to go on. Time to go north again, when you reach Camp Taurajo again, go east and when you reach the mountains go north[/b] while killing all the mobs for Tribes at War. The area is called Bramblescar.
Note! Keep the Blood Shards that drop!
Lovely grinding spot too if you ask me. Anyway, when your done, run back to Camp Taurajo.
When there, turn in the quest:
· Tribes at War at Mangletooth.
Get the follow-up:
· Blood Shards of Agamaggan.
If correct you can turn that in immediatly because you have saved the Blood Shards that dropped.
Now, you’ve got 2 choices.
1. If you already have the flightpath of Thunderbluff, hearthstone[/b] to The Crossroads.
2. If you don’t, run to Thunderbluff and after that, hearthstone.
How to get to Thunderbluff?
From Camp Taurajo you go west until you hit Mulgore, keep going west until the road splits, keep going straight ahead all the time and you should get to Thunderbluff, which stands in the north-western corner of Mulgore.
When you are back at the Crossroads. Go east until you reach Ratchet.
At (62, 37) you can find Mebok Mizzyrix, get the quest there:
· Raptor Horns.
Also get some other quests:
· The Guns of Northwatch from Captain Thalo’thas Brightsun.
· Ziz Fizziks from Sputtervalve.
· Trouble at the Docks from Crane Operator Bigglefuzz.
Now move out again to the west.
You can find the Intact Raptor Horns. You can find the Sunscale Sytheclaws that drop them just north-west of Ratchet.
After getting the 5 horns you can go back to Ratchet and turn in:
· Raptor Horns.
Dinged level 21 here:
Level 21:
Get follow-up:
· Smart Drinks.
Now get to Stagnant Oasis and kill Verog the Dervish, he will spawn when you’ve killed alot of Kolkar mobs, then you’ll hear a yell that he has spawned. Then go to around (52, 42) where he will be.
After that, run back to The Crossroads.
There turn in:
· Egg Hunt at Korran.
Sell/Repair and go west until you reach that little camp again, there turn in:
· Verog the Dervish at Regthar Deathgate.
Get the followup:
· Hezrul Bloodmark from Regthar Deathgate.
Now go south to the Lushwater Oasis.
Search for Hezrul Bloodmark there, he’s a patrolling dude with 1 or 2 guards. He patrols around the oasis. Use your cooldowns to take him down quickly. As a warrior I used Retaliation to cut them all apart.
After that, don’t leave yet, we’re gonna get the 2 “secret” quests for Wailing Caverns.
“Watch the video how to get there at http://rapidshare.de/files/24337269/Film_0002.wmv.html”.
When done with that, go north again and deliver the quest:
· Hezrul Bloodmark at Regthar Deathgate.
Now run back to The Crossroads.
We’re going to get all quests for Wailing Caverns now.
You should have the flighpath to Thunderbluff by now.
Get the quest:
· Apothecary Zamah from Apothecary Helbrim.
Then quickly fly to Thunder Bluff.
When arrived there, turn in the quests:
· Hamuul Runetotem at Arch Druid Hamuul Runetotem at Elder Rise.
· Followup: Nara Wildman.
· Turn it in at Nara Wildmane at Elder Rise.
· Followup: Leaders of the Fang.
· Apothecary Zamah at Apothecary Zamah at The Pools of Vision at Spirit Rise.
· Get the quest Serpentbloom from her.
· Melor Sends Word at Melor Stonehoof at Hunter Rise.
· Don’t get the followup yet.
Now you can hearthstone back to The Crossroads and find yourself a group to the Wailing Caverns. I suggest you do “WC” around 2 or 3 times because it’s a great instance with good drops and great exp from the quests. I completed the quests after 2 runs, however I wanted some more drops so I did a 3rd run. If you don’t want to do this third run, go to the place where we grinded earlier, Bramblescar, and grind there until you hit level 24.
If you do want a 3rd run, find yourself a group again and finish the instance. After that you’ll be maybe like halfway through level 23. So go to Bramblescar and grind the rest until you hit level 24.
Here’s Jame’s guide for Wailing Caverns.
http://www.wow-pro.com/node/580
Okey so you should be level 24 now.
Level 24:
Go to Orgrimmar and learn your new spells. Put your uncommons on the Auction House and Sell/Repair.
Now fly from Orgrimmar to Ratchet and go to Sputtervale that’s close to you, talk to him and say “Tell me about the Glowing Shard”. Then you will get the complete message. We’ll deliver this later.
Now go south over the peach, just cross The Merchant Cost until you reach Northwatch Hold. Enter it and kill every mob on your way up, because they drop Theramore Medal’s.
Now, somewhere around (61, 54) you can find a tower, enter it and fight your way up to the top and there, kill Captain Fairmount there. Get out of the tower and walk on until you reach the tower at (63, 56), enter it, go to the top and kill Cannoneer Smythe. Then go out of the tower but instead of going down, go left along the wall until you reach the little tower, enter it and kill Cannoneer Whessan there (60, 55). Then go back to the 1st tower and get the escort quest from Gilthares Firebough, protect him. While escorting he will take a break at (62, 52), then continue.
Then talk to Captain Thalo’thas Brightsun next to you and turn in:
· The Guns of Northwatch.
· Free From the Hold.
Hearthstone back to The Crossroads.
Move out to the Wailing Caverns and turn in the quest:
· The Glowing Shard.
You can get up the mountain by going to (45, 34) and from there go north-east up the mountain, you’ll see a nice line on your minimap that you should follow. Walk further up the mountain and at (48, 32) you will find Falla Sagewind where you deliver it. Accept the follow-up In Nightmares.
After that go north back to the road, then walk west until you reach the little camp at (45, 28), get the quest:
· Counterattack! From Regthar Deathgate.
Then look north and the banner for the quest should stand like 10 yards away from you, loot it and turn in the quest:
· Counterattack! At Regthar Deathgate.
Then just continue going west on the road. Run through Honor’s Stand and continue through the beginning of Stonetalon Mountains until you arrive at (71, 90), there take the path south-east and you’ll get to Malaka’jin.
There get the quest:
· Report to Kadrak from Darn Talongrip.
Go further south-east and enter the cave, turn in:
· Letter to Jin’Zil at Witch Doctor Jin’Zil.
Get the quest:
· Jin’Zil’s Forest Magic from Witch Doctor Jin’Zil.
Get back on the road and head north-west. At (60, 71) to right and run to (58, 62), there turn in:
· Ziz Fizziks at Ziz Fizziks.
Get the follow-up:
· Super Reaper 6000 from Ziz Fizziks.
Go north to around (62, 54) and kill the Venture Co. Operator’s there until the Super Reaper 6000 Blueprints drop. After that’s done, run back to Ziz Fizziks and turn in:
· Super Reaper 6000 at Ziz Fizziks.
Get the follow-up:
· Further Instructions.
Then run back south until you reach the roadsplit again at (60, 71) but now take the left path instead of the right path you took earlier, this road should go north.
At (53, 61) turn left and you will get to Sun Rock Retreat.
There get the following quests:
· Harpies Threaten from Maggran Earthbinder.
· Cenarius’ Legacy from Braelyn Firehand.
· Cycle of Rebirth from Tammra Windfield.
Set your hearthstone to Sun Rock Retreat and get the flightpath.
Now get back on the road and head north.
At 46, 42) go west and fight your way to The Charred Vale. Kill the mobs on your way, especially the Bloodfeather mobs.
Note: Beware of not pulling too much Bloodfeather’s, especially Roguefeathers and Slayers, 2 of them can be deadly, they’re very close together so make sure you pull just 1. But when you die, make sure you take the shortcut back because it’s a long route. You can go west at (51, 52) over the mountains back to The Charred Vale.
You can find the Bloodfeather Harpy’s and Ambushers in the northern part of The Charred Vale. And the Bloodfeather Roguefeather’s and Slayers in the middle part of The Charred Vale. After killing them all go back north and east[/b] until you reach the Mirkfallon Lake again.
Then search for Gaea Seed’s around the lake. When you have 10. Make your way to the north and kill every Antlered Courser on your way, loot their Courser Eye’s. Also kill every Sap Beast on your way and loot their Stonetalon Sap.
When you arrive to the top of the mountain called Stonetalon Peak start killing all mobs there. Sap Beasts until you have got 5 Stonetalon Sap. Antlered Coursers until you’ve got 30 Courser Eye’s. Twilight Runners until you’ve got 5 Twilight Whisker’s and at last a Fey Dragon for a Fey Dragon Scale. You can find Sap Beasts in the south there and Twilight Runners in the west. Fey Dragon´s are all over the place but very rare as I noticed, so kill each you see.
I leveled to 25 while killing these things.
Level 25:
Okey after you have completed all those items, get to the middle of Stonetalon Peak and start killing Sons of Cenarius, Daughters of Cenarius and Cenarion Botanist’s.
When done with killing 6 of each, hearthstone to Sun Rock Retreat.
When there, turn in:
· Harpies Threaten at Maggran Earthbinder.
· Get the follow-up Bloodfury Bloodline.
· Cenarius’ Legacy at Braelyn Firehand.
· Get the follow-up Ordanus.
· Cycle of Rebirth at Tammra Windfield.
· Get the follow-up New Life.
Now go back to the area called Malaka’jin in the south of Stonetalon Mountains and turn in:
· Jin’Zil’s Forest Magic at Witch Doctor Jin’Zil.
Now run back again towards Sun Rock Retreat, only make a stop at (59, 75) and get the quest from the Wanted Poster called:
· Arachnophobia.
Then go west into Sishir Canyon and make your way into it.
Search for Besseleth, I found him at (54, 72), use all yours cooldowns and special abilities to take him down, since he’s elite. I solo’d him as a 25 warrior, so it’s possible for most classes.
After you’ve killed him loot his Besseleth’s Fang. Then run back to Sun Rock Retreat and turn in:
· Arachnophobia at Maggran Earthbinder.
That’s it for this guide!
I hope you have enjoyed it, because it took quite some time to write it.

Basic Rules and Addons taken from Jame's Guide.
Basic rules
To get the most out of my guide, you should get an addon which displays coordinates, because I use them to describe locations in my guide (x,y). You can use any addon you like, but here's a very simple one I use.
Recommended
Optional
Below is a list of other addons I use, this is 100% optional though, it's mostly for people who are curious to know which addons I use:
Side Note: In case you don't know how to install add-ons, simply download an addon from one of the links above and unzip it. Then drag the unziped folder in your Addon folder (full path is c:\\Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\Interface\\Addons). Then, restart World of Warcraft and it should be working.
If it isn't working, you might need to log out to your character selection screen and click on "Addons" in the lower-left corner. Tick the box that says "Load out of date Addons". Re-launch WoW.

2. Go back to Sen'Jin Village and turn in A Solvent Spirit and Thwarting Kolkar Aggression.

![]()
5. Go back to the goblin and turn in the quest, get it's followup Securing The Lines.
==NOTE== Now there may be a grind depending on how lucky you were with drops. Make sure that you are atleast 625 XP points from level 10 before continuing on with the guide.
6. Go to Razor Hill and turn in Encroachment.
==NOTE== Congratulations on level 10 and your first Talent Point. Spend it wisely. Now you should get training and I recommend that you do your class quest, for a good chunk of XP points and a nice Green Item. Or, you can continue with the guide and do the class quest later on.

1. Go west from the Goblin Rezlak to Rhinag at (40,16) and pick up Need for a Cure.
==NOTE== This quest is on a timer for 45 minutes, though it shouldn't take you that long.

He might be fairly tough to kill as he casts alot of shadowbolts and has an imp that casts firebolts, but try really hard to kill him as this quest has a lot of follow ups. Use Minshina's Skull to help you kill him if he can't do it. (Consider that as a last resort as we may need it further down the road.)

![]()
4. Go back to Margoz, turn in Skull Rock and accept the followup Neeru Fireblade.

1. Go to Thrall and turn in Hidden Enemies, get the same-name followup.
2. Go to The Cleft of Shadow and find Neeru Fireblade outside the entrance to Ragefire Chasm.
3. Turn in Burning Shadows and Neeru Fireblade there is no need to get the followup. Keep on talking to him to complete Hidden Enemies.
4. Go back to Thrall and turn in Hidden Enemies. (You may consider taking the followup if you want to run Ragefire Chasm, if not, do not take it.)
You should be Level 12 by now.
Now you can start looking for a group for the Ragefire Chasm instance.
You already have the quest Hidden Enemies and you can pick up Slaying the Beast from Neeru Fireblade outside of the instance.
This instance gives alot of XP points if you need them, and it may drop some nice Blue Items you may find of use.
Now you have a choice, you can either go back to Razor Hill and pick up Conscript of the Horde. Then follow Hosho's Guide to the Barrens to Level 20, then follow Jame's Guide all the way to 80.
OR
You can follow Snowflake's Guide to Ghostlands. (I would personally recommend this as Ghostlands is much faster to level in than the Barrens.)
Before we begin..
This guide was written to help new and experienced players alike find the fastest possible way through one of the largest zones in World of Warcraft, the Barrens. The guide was designed with Orcs, Trolls and Taurens in mind, but if you are undead and feel the need to quest in the Barrens, knock yourself out. )
It is intended that you start this guide at level 12, although you can start a little earlier or a little later if you wish. In my opinion the quickest way to 12 is usually to follow the natural quest line until level 8, then start grinding. Dustwind Harpies in Durotar are good, or if you're Tauren, Windfury Harpies in Mulgore. It's also a good idea to take up a gathering skill early on. Trolls and Orcs should take advantage of the mountains of Copper in Durotar and become Miners, and Taurens should use their racial advantage and become Herbalists. Anything you get, cart into the auction house. And remember, trade skills can be deserted at any time. If you really really want to be an enchanter, go ahead, but the extra money from a gathering skill at low level is too valuable to pass up, in my opinion.
Now, you may notice a striking resemblence between the guide I have written and the guides Jame has written for leveling Alliance characters from 30-60. That is no coincidence. Jame's guides are very good indeed, so it makes good sense to stick to a formula that works.
Before you start, I recommend you stop by the auction house and pick up four 10 slot bags, or if you can, 12 slot bags. The barrens is a huge place, and we'll be making some long-ish runs. If you took my advice and did some Harpy grinding, you should have some Linen Cloth to auction off, which will go a long way towards your bags, and if you took s'more advice of mine and became a miner or a herbalist, you should be able to pay for 10 slot bags fairly easily. This will make life a lot easier for you later on.
Addons
Okay, so you don't -need- any addons to get levels. But some of them can help the process, just a little. Here's a short list of the ones I recommend using.
PerHour
A lovely little mod that sits on your screen and counts how much experience and money you are turning each hour. It has a pause button for when you're doing other things and don't want it to track, and a reset button. It also saves it's data between sessions, so you can log out, log back in, and it'll still remember everything. This mod hasn't been updated in over a year, but it still works. Why? Because of it's simple, no frills coding. This addon will never stop working.
(This addon is no longer needed if you make use of Blizzards "loot all" option by pressing shift while looting your mob)Telo's Quickloot
This mod is so widely used, and so taken for granted for so many people, it really should have been emulated in the Blizzard UI. All it does is moves the loot window to right underneath your cursor, making it easier to loot items. Genius.
MozzFullWorldMap
Name says it all. This addon can show you a full map of an area. Even places you haven't visited. Knowing where you're going is half the trouble with any journey in warcraft, this ought to help you out.
MapCoords
The simplest of all the addons to offer coordinates to your map. This will help you locate things around World of Warcraft. It is by no means essential, but a small addon, so why not?
Part 1 To The Crossroads

If you are Tauren..
Taurens, you will most likely be starting in Bloodhoof Village, or at least have a good idea of how to get there.
Starting at Bloodhoof, head east until you hit the border between Mulgore and The Barrens. The southern barrens has mobs of a much higher level than you are right now, so stick to the roads as you head east towards Camp Taurajo. (Follow the blue dots on the map above.) Once you get there, talk to the Wind Rider Master to get the Flight path, then pick up [10] The Barrens Oases and [12] Journey to the Crossroads from Kirge Sternhorn. Once that's done, hit the road north out of Taurajo. This is a long-ish run, but completely necessary. When you arrive at the crossroads, talk to Thork to finish your quest. Once that's done, talk to Jahan Hawkwing to get [10] A bundle of hides. This quest involves flying to Thunder Bluff, dropping the hides off and riding back. You can handle this yourself. Complete the entire quest chain, and when you're back at the Crossroads, start on Part 2.
If you are a Troll or an Orc..
I shall assume you are starting in Razor Hill. At the western gates of Razor Hill, you'll find Takrin Pathseeker. Talk to him and pick up [12] Conscript of the Horde, then head west, following the road, until you meet a bridge. Cross the bridge, find the guard tower nearby, and talk to Kargal Battlescar. Get the follow up, [12] Crossroads Conscript. Your next order of business is to get to the Crossroads. Follow the road west until you meet a junction, then turn south. The crossroads is a short walk ahead of you. (Follow the red dots on the map above.) When you arrive, pick up [10] Meats to Orgrimmar from Zargh. This is a short quest to get you used to flying between Wind Riders. I won't talk you through this quest, as it's simple enough to do. Complete the entire quest chain, then move on to Part 2.
If you are Undead..
GO HOME! ..seriously though, as undead you will be starting in Brill. Hop on a Zeppelin, which will fly you to Orgrimmar. (If you end up in Stranglethorn, you hopped the wrong Zeppelin. =p) From Orgrimmar, run south down the road to Razor Hill, then turn west and head straight for the Barrens. Don't worry about [12] Conscript of the Horde, undead players won't be able to pick this up. Just follow the red dots on the map, and get to the crossroads. You will also be unable to do the Wind Rider quests for the crossroads, which will leave you with a slight experience deficit compared to the other races, so be prepared to plug some holes with some grinding later in this guide.
Now, even with all that running around, you should now be about a third of the way through level 12. And we didn't even kill anything yet! )
Part 2 From Plainstriders to Kolkar
Before you start, set your hearthstone to The Crossroads.
The first thing we'll do is gather all the quests available at the crossroads. These should be..
Got them all? Good! Now from now on, and this is important, kill every raptor you see until you have completed [13] Raptor Thieves. Do not go looking for them, but if you pass one, kill it. If you are on the quest, any Raptor in the barrens will drop a Raptor Head for you, so you'll only need to kill 12 of them. We are in no rush with this quest, but we do want it out of the way, because eventually, we'll need the followup.
Now, let us begin. Head east out of the crossroads and kill any Plainstriders you see. They should be right outside the town. Start moving south, and walk clockwise around The Crossroads, killing Plainstriders and Raptors as you go. Once you have completed [12] Plainstrider Menace, get back into town, talk to Sergena Darkthorn and get the followup, [13] The Zhevra.

1. Next, we're going to head West to a little bunker, which can be found at 45,28 for anyone that uses coordinates. If you don't read the addons section at the begining of the guide, or just use the map above. On your way there, kill any Zhevras and Raptors that you pass, but don't worry too much about them at this point. Once at the bunker, you will find Regthar Deathgate, who will offer you two quests. [14] Centaur Bracers and [16] Kolkar Leaders. Take them both.
2. Start running north, continueing to kill Zhevras and Raptors. You should see a few Centaur camps up ahead. Keep away from the tents, and run north into the trees, picking off the Centaurs you see one by one. Keep an eye open for big blue mushrooms! They are Fungal Spores and are needed for a quest you're on. They are most common around the lake there. Grab four of them to complete [15] Fungal Spores.
Once you've collected all your spores, get back into the lake, and look for a crack in the floor with some bubbles flowing out of it. Swim over the bubbles to complete [13] The Forgotten Pools.
3. Now, the tricky part. Start moving west towards 43,24, killing Centaurs as you go, being careful to fight them one on one. When you get there, you will see a small gazeebo-like building up on a hill. Just outside that building will be Barak Kodobane, with one patroller nearby. CAREFULLY pull the patroller, and kill him one on one. Take a quick look around for any patrols, then Kill Barak Kodobane. He is Level 16, which will make this a difficult fight, but definately a possible one. He uses a bow to attack you from range, and runs away at low health. Don't worry if you die, just go back and try again. Once he is dead, start grinding on Centaur around the Forgotten Pools until you ding level 13. Make sure you loot the Centaur Bracers that they drop for [14] Centaur Bracers. Do not worry if you don't get all 15. There'll be plenty of opportunity to get them later.
If you can't kill Barak Kodobane..
If you try really hard to kill Barak, but still die, don't worry! Just grind on the Centaur in the area until you ding level 13, then try again. One level can make a huge difference!
4. Once you level, head south to the bunker and turn in [16] Kolkar Leaders, then get the followup, [18] Verog the Dervish. While you're there, kill off any more Zhevra you need for [13] The Zhevra.
5. Now start heading back to The Crossroads. When you get there, turn in the following quests..
And get the followups..
DO NOT get [15] Apothecary Zamah yet. It is a timed quest, and we're not ready to do it just yet.
Done? Good job. You should now be about 1/3rd through level 13. Sell your grey items, restock any food or water that you need, grab a cup of coffee, and get ready for Part 3!
Part 3 Razormanes, Prowlers, and Pirates

1. Head north out of The Crossroads. On your right, you should find a small camp of Razormane Quillboars. Kill these until you have completed [12] Disrupt The Attacks. If you run out of quillboar, head further east to the side of the mountain. There should be plenty there for you to kill.
2. Once you're done with Razormanes, head north until you hit the road, then walk East. Stay on the road until you see a Guard Tower, right before you hit the river. (Trolls and Orcs will remember this tower from [12] Crossroads Conscript.) From there, start heading south. There are a few raptors in this area, try to kill them all as you move south, until you complete [13] Raptor Thieves. (If you've been killing raptors as you see them, you should only be 4 or 5 heads away from being done.) Follow the road all the way south, until you reach Ratchet.
3. While we're here, we're going to scoop up some quests and take the Ratchet flightpath. As you approach the town from the north, you'll see a green hut on your right. Inside, you will find Gazlowe who will give you [14] Southsea Freebooters. Leave the hut, walk south some, and find Sputtervalve who will give you [14] Samophlange. Next, you'll find a wanted poster on the wall of the Bank. Get [16] WANTED Baron Longshore from it. While you're here, pop out onto the pier and talk to Wharfmaster Dizzywig. Complete [11] Wharfmaster Dizzywig, and pick up [18] Miner's Fortune. One more quest to pick up.. as you head south out of Ratchet, stop at Captain Thalo'thas Brightsun and get [20] The Guns of Northwatch.
4. All done? Lovely. Now head south along the coast until you find the pirates. Kill these until you have completed [14] Southsea Freebooters. If you find Baron Longshore, please don't try to kill him just yet. We'll be coming back this way soon enough anyway, and he is very difficult to kill at the moment. We can put him off until we're a little more prepared.
5. When the pirates are all dead, head back to Gazlowe, turn in, and get the follow up, [14] The Missing Shipment. This is a short quest which will take you down to Wharfmaster Dizzywig by the water in Ratchet, then back up to Gazlowe. Then, Gazlowe will give you another followup, [16] Stolen Booty.
6. Head west out of Ratchet. As you leave the town, you will see a cliff to the north. Walk around that cliff and towards 60,35 (or the big number 6 on the map above.) This place should be full of Savanah Prowlers. Search in the long grass. Kill them until you've completed [15] Prowlers of the Barrens.
7. When that's done, head back to The Crossroads, turn in your quests, restock food and water, sell greys, and repair. Congrats on level 14!
Get the following quests
To Thunder Bluff!
Before you do anything else, look for Mankrik in The Crossroads. He's near the gate to the South. Since you turned 14, he now has two quests for you, [20] Consumed by Hatred and [20] Lost in Battle. Take them both. Now, remember that quest we DIDN'T get from Apothecary Helbrim? We're about to get it. Talk to him (He's in The Crossroads, near the Wind Rider Master) and get [15] Apothecary Zamah. For anyone who isn't Tauren, this quest is a waste of time experience wise, but we're going to do it anyway. Why? One reason. Flight paths. In this run, non-taurens will pick up flight paths for Camp Taurajo and Thunder Bluff, both very important places.

If you are Tauren..
Remember the long run you had to do just to get to The Crossroads? Well, it's about to pay off! Fly straight to Thunder Bluff and turn in [15] Apothecary Zamah. Zamah is found in the Pools of Vision, which is beneath Thunder Bluff's Spirit Rise. While you're there, pick up [18D] Serpentbloom. When you are done with him, find a trainer, pick up your level 14 spells, put any green items you collected on the auction house, repair, sell greys, or do anything else you need to in Thunder Bluff.
When you're all done, fly to Camp Taurajo. From there, head north to 49,50 and search the two tauren buildings you find for a corpse. "Talk" to it to complete [20] Lost in Battle, then hearthstone back to The Crossroads, and turn your quest in at Mankrik to the south side of the town.
If you are NOT Tauren..
This will be a long run, and will lower your exp rate a lot. But it's more than worth it for the flight paths, which you'll have to pick up eventually anyway.
Follow the road south towards Camp Taurajo. Note that Mankrik's Wife is on your route. Pop off the road, and talk to her. She can be found at 49,50, near a few small tauren buildings. When you've talked to her, head south a little more to Camp Taurajo and pick up the flight path. Then follow the road West and into Mulgore. Continue along the road until you reach Bloodhoof Village, and follow the road north. Eventually, it will lead you to Thunder Bluff.
When you get there, head to the Pools of Vision, underneath Spirit Rise. Turn in [15] Apothecary Zamah, and get the quest [18D] Serpentbloom from him. Now, go learn your level 14 spells (rogues and warlocks will have to fly to Orgrimmar), visit auction house, and take care of any other business you have in town. When you're done, fly back to The Crossroads.
While you are at The Crossroads, turn in your "Lost in Battle" quest at Mankrik.
Part 4 Samophlange, Echeyakee, and other unpronouncables.
This will be our longest run yet. Ready?

1. The Samophlange. Head north to 52,12, where you will find a small Goblin hut, and a big piece of machinery. Inside the machinery is a Control Console. You'll have to kill a few Venture Co. Peons to get at it. Fight your way into it, and interract with it. Get the followup.
Once that's done, you'll have to run a circle around the machinery, turning valves off. There are three in all, one at the left side, one at the right side, and one at the back. Clear off the area and use the valves. Some Peons spawn when you turn a valve, but it's nothing you can't handle. When you've turned all the valves, go back to the control console. Get the followup.
2. Now you're being asked to retrieve a Console Key from Tinkerer Sniggles, who can be found inside the hut, at 53,11. He is level 16, and can easily be fought one on one. Loot him, then head back to the Control Console.
3. Clear off the mobs around the console again, interract with it, complete the quest. At this point, you can throw away the Control Console Operating Manual in your inventory. It does nothing but waste space.
4. Echeyakee. A fancy name for an easy mob. Move south towards 55,16. You'll find some tall grass, a few Savanah Prowlers, and some Kodo Bones sticking out from the ground. Kill off a few Prowlers, as many as it takes to get a nice clear area to fight Echeyakee. When you feel safe, search your inventory for your Horn of Echeyakee and blow it. The moment you do, Echeyakee will spawn, and more often than not, attack you immediately. Fight him off, and loot his hide.
5. Still moving south, head towards where we killed the Razormanes earlier. Head further East to around 58,24 and look for Razormane Geomancers and Razormane Defenders. Start killing these, and start moving south a little. There is a large camp at 58,26, filled mostly with Razormane Mystics, which you do not need. Inside the camp though, you'll find Kreenig Snarlsnout. Kill him, and once he's dead, start searching the camps where you found him. Look for a stack of orange boxes. These are Crossroads Supply Crates, and are needed for [14] Supplies for the Crossroads. Grab a box, and head south again, towards Ratchet.
6. Once you get to Ratchet, turn in [16] Samophlange at Sputtervalve and get the followup, [14] Wenikee Boltbucket. Also turn in [16] Echeyakee and to get the followup [17] The Angry Scytheclaws. Continue south towards the Pirates.
7. Fight your way past the pirates, and make your way towards 62,49. USE THE PICTURE BELOW. There are two boxes for you to find here, and are fairly difficult to find. One is in a pirate camp, fairly close to the water. The other is in the west, fairly close to the mountains. Find them both. Once you have them, search for Baron Longshore, who you'll find in one of the nearby pirate camps. Kill him, and head back to Ratchet.

8. In Ratchet, head back to Gazlowe and turn in [16] WANTED Baron Longshore and [16] Stolen Booty. Also get [18] Raptor Horns from Mebok Mizzyrix, who is right next to the bank. If you aren't Level 15 now, you should be really, really close.
9. Now head southwest towards the Stagnant Oasis, which you'll find at 55,42, killing Kolkar as you go. When you get to the water, start looking for another Bubbly Fissure. Beware the turtles, they're aggressive. Swim in and use the fissure to complete [16] The Stagnant Oasis.
10. Time for another tough fight. Head west to 53,41. Look for another centaur gazeebo-like building, up on a hill. We are looking for Verog the Dervish, but he won't be here yet. Here is what you're going to do..

Near the gazeebo, you will find a couple of tents, and a few kolkar. Kill them all. Eventually, after much killing, one of the Centaur will say "I am slain! Summon Verog!" When you see this shout, head back to the gazeebo. Verog should be standing there. Kill him and loot his head. This might be a tricky fight, so try to have a health potion standing by.
11. At this point we're going to do a little grinding. Why? Well, we're now standing in one of the best grinding spots for our level you'll find. Kolkar Bloodchargers don't hit very hard at all, and have around 250-280 health. They go down -very- fast, and are relatively easy to find. They also drop Centaur Bracers, which we need for a quest. They also drop Linen Cloth at a decent rate, which we can sell at auction. There are more Bloodchargers at the east side of the oasis, so let's concentrate on that area. Also worth noting, if you run our of convenient Centaurs to kill, don't be afraid to go into the lake and kill a few Oasis Snapjaws.
Grind here until you are level 16. For me, this was around 80 kills, but it may differ depending on how many Peons, Prowlers and Pirates and Turtles you had to kill to get to your previous objectives.
12. Now head west, past the crossroads, to Regthar Deathgate's Bunker. Turn in [14] Centaur Bracers and [18] Verog the Dervish, and get the followup, [16] Hezrul Bloodmark. Then head back to the Crossroads.
13. At The Crossroads and turn in [16] The Stagnant Oasis, [14] Supplies for The Crossroads and [15] The Disruption Ends, get the follow up [16]Altered Beings. Repair, restock, and fly to Thunder Bluff if you're tauren, or Ogrimmar if you're not. Auction off your greens, retrain in spells, and take care of any other business, and fly to Camp Taurajo.
NOTE Remember at the start of the guide, i recommended that you should have 10 slot bags? Well, since then we've had a chance to get some gold together from grey sales to vendors and cloth/greens selling at auction. Bag space is important. As expensive as it may seem, it'll earn you money in the long run. So while you're in town, get a few bags. The bigger the better; you might regret buying smaller bags, but you sure as hell won't regret buying large ones later on in the game.
Part 5 From Raptors to Hezrul

We will begin the next part from Camp Taurajo, so fly there now and set your hearthstone to the inn there. Let me say that one more time so no one has an excuse.. SET YOUR HEARTHSTONE TO CAMP TAURAJO. Done? Good!
1. Using the map above, head towards the Raptor Grounds. Be careful not to run through the Bristleback Quillboar camps, they're more trouble than they're worth right now. When you get to the Raptor Grounds, start killing. They tend to stand in pairs, but it's easy enough to kill them off one by one. Right at the back of the Raptor Grounds, a group of 3 raptors guard the Stolen Silver, at the southeastern most camp. One of these can be pulled solo. The other two you'll have to fight together, unless you're able to polymorph or hibernate one. Kill them both and loot the silver.
Stay at the Raptor Grounds, killing any loose raptors you find until you have 5 Intact Raptor Horns for [18] Raptor Horns and at least 3 Sunscale Feathers for [17] The Angry Scytheclaws. When you have the silver, the horns, and the feathers all collected, move on.
2. Move north to 52,46. you will find more raptors here, guarding some nests. Every single one of these raptors can be pulled one at a time, if you're careful. Clear the area, then drop one Sunscale Feather on each of the three nests.
3. Head to mark number 3 on the map above, the Lushwater Oasis. Fight your way to the water, then begin killing Oasis Snapjaws, and loot 8 of their shells for [16] Altered Beings.
4. Here is another one of those difficult fights. We're going to take on Hezrul Bloodmark. Hezrul patrols around Lushwater Oasis and is level 19. But he isn't alone. He walks with two guards, who are anywhere between levels 13 and 16. You can't just run in blind and expect to win this fight, so here's the tactic i used.
First of all.. FIND HIM! He patrols Clockwise around the Oasis, and spawns right outside the Wailing Caverns. Once you've located him, take a look at his guards, and decide which of the two guards is the WEAKEST. If you are able, polymorph, sap, root, or use any other crowd control you have on Hezrul himself. Kill the weakest guard first, then run away. Eventually, they'll stop chasing you, and go back to where you first fought them. Drink, eat, get your strength back. Then, use any crowd control effects you have on Hezrul again and kill the second guard. Then escape again. This should leave Hezrul all alone. Get your strength back, and attack him directly. A little patience makes this a simple enough fight, but if you have any potions, be prepared to use them. good luck!
5. Run a little further north to Regthar's Bunker and complete [19] Hezrul Bloodmark. Do not take the followup. The next quest in this chain is a script that involves killing wave after wave of 15-16 Centaurs, followed by a level 20 elite Centaur, while still dealing with more waves of the 15-16 ones. It shouldn't be attempted alone until much later on.
6. Run all the way east to Ratchet. Finish up [18] Raptor Horns, and take the followup, [18D] Smart Drinks. You will also find a Wailing Caverns quest in Ratchet worth picking up, [18D] Trouble at the Docks from Crane Operator Bigglefuzz who you'll find near the water.
7. Now return to the Crossroads and turn in [16] Altered Beings. This quest has two followups. One of them leads to the Sepulcher in Silverpine Forest, which is a timewaste for us. The other, [16D] Hamuul Runetotem, is worth getting. Also, turn in [17] The Angry Scytheclaws (get the follow up), and [18] Stolen Silver. This should make you Ding level 17. While you're here, be sure to get [19] Report to Kadrak.
Before we go any further, I want you to check your Quest log and make sure you are on all of these quests. If you are not, something has gone wrong somewhere (If you didn't get to turn in .
The Barrens
Part 6 Walkabouts
This is a guide to The Barrens, so the next part might shock you. Y'see.. we aren't staying in The Barrens for this run. We are going walkabouts. Note that if you are on a PvP or PvPRP server, you will be Flagged for bits of this run. Hold your nerve and you should do fine. After part 5, you should be standing in the middle of The Crossroads. Let us begin.

1. Start walking north, following the road, until you reach the Mor'shan Rampart. Pretty much as soon as you hit this area, you will see Wenikee Boltbucket on your right, standing at 50,11 or so. Talk to her to complete [14] Wenikee Boltbucket, and get the followup.
2. Now, we're going east again, towards 57,9, staying close to the mountain, until you find Sludge Fen. To the north side of this area is a Goblin Shredder with a quest for you. Talk to it, and get [18] Ignition!. This quest involves killing Supervisor Lugwizzle, who you'll find at the top of the large tower slightly to the south, in the middle of the water. Start climbing the tower, killing as you go. Also, stop to loot any Tool Buckets you see. Those contain Nugget Slugs, which you need for a quest. Kill Lugwizzle, jump off the tower (aiming for the water, of course) and get back to the shredder.
3. The guy in the shredder will now offer [18] The Escape. This is a really easy escort mission. Accept it. When we first start, the shredder will run around at random for a little while, until the goblin learns to control it. While he's doing this, start making long pulls and killing the Drudgers and Mercenaries to the west of you. When he works out the controls, he'll start walking West. Continue to make long pulls. It will take him a second or two to notice when you're fighting things, but stay close to him and he WILL notice eventually. Try not to let things run away. After a short while, the shredder will turn north up a ramp, and stop. When this happens, two Venture Co. mobs will spawn and attack you. It should be an easy fight. Once they're dead, the mission will end. Now, patrol the area looting any more Nugget Slugs you need until you have completed [15] Nugget Slugs.
If you DO NOT have the Orgrimmar Flight Path..
Taurens, it is time for you to visit the Horde's capital if you haven't already. (If you already have, skip this part) Trolls and Orcs should already have this flight path, so skip ahead. Undead, if you didn't pick it up yet, now is the best time.
Walk East, and don't stop walking until you reach a river. When you hit the river, turn North towards 64,3 on the Barrens map. Here you will find a bridge, and over the bridge, you will find the little known and hugely under used Orgrimmar West Gate. Ask a guard where the Wind Rider Master is, then go find him. He is at the top of the Skytower in the Valley of Strength. When you're done, leave Orgrimmar via the West gate again, and head back to Sludge Fen. Then, continue the guide.
4. Head back to Wenikee Boltbucket and complete [15] Nugget Slugs. Take the followup. Now run north, to the very top of the Mor'shan Rampart, and find Kadrak. He should be in the 1st floor of a guard tower, 48,5 for those who use coordinates. Turn in [19] Report to Kadrak and get the followup, [19] The Warsong Reports.
5. We are now going to do [19] The Warsong Reports. This quest is a waste of time exp wise, but earns us flight paths in Ashenvale, and is therefore worth it.

NOTE Click the image above to see a larger map.
Follow the road north until you reach Ashenvale. Take a look at the map above. Our first stop will be on the middle floor of a guard tower, just outside Splintertree Post. Follow the purple dots to get there.Open your stack of warsong reports, and give one of them to the guard with a Blue question mark over her head. Remember to give her only one, or you won't have enough to go around. Then head into Splintertree Post and Get the Flight path. When you're done there, follow the Blue dots to the second guard. This guard patrols the road outside Satyrnaar, and unfortunately is frequently ganked by Alliance members on most servers. (Although she is civilian, she is the same level as most people in this part of Ashenvale, and therefore doesn't give a DK). Give her a report, then turn back and head west. Get back to the junction, and follow the yellow dots all the way west to Zoram'gar Outpost, being very careful to avoid Astranaar, the major Alliance settlement in this zone. When you get there, hand out the last report, get the flight path, and fly to The Crossroads.
6. Take care of any business you might have in The Crossroads, repairs, restocking, selling grey items etc. Then leave the town through the West gate, and follow the road until you come to the border with Stonetalon Mountains. We're going to do a few quests here. Right on the border, you'll see a few Horde NPC's right next to the road. Stop and pick up [18] Avenge My Village.

7. A tiny bit northwest, at about 81,88 you will find Camp Aparaje, a deserted Tauren village with a few camps of Grimtotem Ruffians and Grimtotem Mercenaries. These are both very, very easy for you to kill right now. So go ahead and kill until you have completed [18] Avenge My Village. Once they're all dead, head back to the NPC's at the border.
8. Find Makaba Flathoof at the border and turn in [18] Avenge My Village. Get the followup, [18] Kill Grundig Darkcloud.
9. Follow the road west until 70,87, then turn northeast and follow the road into the grimtotem settlement, killing as you go. At 73,86 you'll find a tent. Standing at the entrance to this tent is, amazingly enough, Grundig Darkcloud. Kill him. Before you leave, kill 6 Grimtotem Brutes to complete the quest, then walk into the tent where you found Grundig. Inside you will find Kaya Flathoof. Get yourself ready, then talk to her, and take her quest, [18] Protect Kaya. This is an escort mission. She will walk West out of the grimtotem settlement, then start following the road Southast. Nothing should challenge you for this one. When she gets to the middle of Camp Aparaje, you will be ambushed by 3 grimtotems at once. Be ready to pull aggro off Kaya as soon as this happens, as she dies very quickly. Kill them, and the mission ends.
10. Head back to the border, and turn in [18] Kill Grundig Darkcloud and [18] Protect Kaya. Get the followup [18] Kaya's Alive, and then hit the road northwest again.
11. At 71,95, you'll find a Darkspear Troll settlement called Malaka'Jin. There you'll find Xen'zilla, who'll offer the quest [19] Blood Feeders. Take it, then get back on the road northwest.
12. We are now going to do the two Spider quests you have at the moment. Keep following the road 'til about 57,76, then go into Sishir Canyon, on your left. Here you'll find all the spiders you could ever want. You will also see Deepmoss Eggs, which you can loot for your quest [20] Deepmoss Spider Eggs. These contain either 2 or 3 eggs in my experience, so you don't need as many as you think.
Be aware though that looting them causes some Deepmoss Hatchlings to spawn, so make sure the area is clear and that you're ready for a fight. Gather all the eggs you need and kill the spiders you need for [19] Blood Feeders. Avoid the elite in the area, we'll get her later.
13. At this point, you should be Level 18, or close to it. If you are not, grind on the spiders until you ding. When you do, leave Sishir Canyon and head north. At around 52,60 you'll see a road heading west. Follow it, and it'll lead you to Sunrock Retreat, the horde settlement in Stonetalon Mountains. Get the flight path which should be to the north side of the lake there. Complete the quest [18] Kaya's Alive at Tammra Windfield, who should be near the biggest tent in Sunrock.
14. Walk back south to Malaka'Jin and complete [19] Blood Feeders. Then hearthstone to Camp Taurajo.
Part 7 Boulder Lode Mine
A nice short part now. You should now be standing in Camp Taurajo. But this isn't where we want to be, so fly to Thunder Bluff and head for Elder Rise. When you get there, complete [16D] Hamuul Runetotem, then complete the followup [16D] Nara Wildmane, which will earn you the quest [22D] Leaders of the Fang, which is the main Wailing Caverns quest.

1. Now that you're done here, head to the Wind Rider Master and Fly to Ogrimmar. When you get there, sell, repair, restock, visit the auction house, Train in your level 18 spells and take care of anything else you need to. When you're done, head to the Valley of Honor and look for Rilli Greasygob (wonderful name, huh?). Talk to him, and get the quest [19] Samophlange Manual. When you're done there, head out of Orgrimmar West Gate, which you'll find at around 16,62 on the Ogrimmar map.
2. Very close by, at around 61,4 you should find Boulder Lode Mine. Fight your way into the mine, and be VERY careful. This area is full of 17-18 mobs that run away at low health and are packed incredibly tightly. Also, because the area is so small inside the cave, respawn can and will bite you. At the back of the cave, you'll find Boss Copperplug. Use the map below to help you find him. Kill him, and loot the Samophlange Manual Cover from him. Now fight your way out of the mine. You don't want to be in there for any longer than you absolutely have to be. Once you are outside, keep killing the Venture Co. mobs in the area until you have 5 Samophlange Manual Pages and one Cats eye Emerald for [18] Miner's Fortune. First time i did this, I got my emerald from the first mob i killed. Second time, i fought my way in to copperplug, back out, and still had to grind for 5 minutes or so to get the drop. Pure luck.
3. When you're all done, go west back to Mor'shan Rampart and turn in [19] The Warsong Reports. When that's done, pat yourself on the back and stone to Camp Taurajo. (If your Hearthstone isn't done cooling yet, run up to Splintertree Post and fly to Taurajo.) When you get to Taurajo, complete [19] Jorn Skyseer. Then get [19] Ishamuhale from Jorn Skyseer and [21] Tribes at War from Mangletooth, who you'll find inside a cage, near the wind rider master. Once that's done, move onto part 8.
Part 8 Bristlebacks, Northwatch, Ishumahale and Thunder Lizards

1. This is a nice big run, one of my favourites. Right now we have a lot of quests for Bristleback Quillboar, which are found to the north of Taurajo. That's where we're going now. Head to the first camp, which you'll find at 45,53. Kill any Water Seekers you see, try to get at least six, but if you don't, don't worry. We can come back later, once they've spawned. Make sure you loot any Bristleback Quilboar Tusks and Blood Shards. The tusks are for [20] Consumed by Hatred, and the shards we will need later.
2. Keep moving north to 43,51. You will find another camp, this time populated by Thornweavers, and a few others that we don't need. Kill as many as you can find, but don't worry if you don't get all 12. We will return here soon.
3. Further north again, this time to the Geomancer camp at 42,48. Start killing. These things hit hard, so expect a lot of downtime between kills. Kill as many as you can find, then head back down to the Thornweaver camp. Keep moving between these two camps until you have killed 12 Bristleback Thornweavers and 12 Bristleback Geomancers.
4. Go back to the Water Seeker camp. Take care of any more Water Seekers or Tusks you need, and continue to kill until you have at least 11 Blood Shards. When that's done, head back to Taurajo.
5. Back in town, turn in [21] Tribes at War at Mangletooth. He will then give you [21] Blood Shards of Agamaggan Take it, and turn it in. If you managed to find Lakota'mani earlier, go talk to Jorn Skyseer and finish the quest [22] Lakota'mani. Sell greys, repair, restock. When that's done, go back to Mangletooth and take the quest [??] Spirit of the Wind. That will give you a nifty little speed buff, which will help us get to the next part that little bit quicker!
6. Run north along the road, and then turn east towards Northwatch Hold. Stay on the road for as long as you can. Be careful to avoid the Bristlebacks on your way, the Thornweavers will root you, making it impossible to run from them. The speed buff you have should chop a bit of time off that journey, and should wear off just as you arrive. How convenient!
7. Follow the path from the entrance, up to the top of the hill, then turn right and approach the West tower. If you get lost, use the map. Clear off any mobs around the tower. Inside this tower, you will find 3 mobs, one of which is a cloth-wearing healer. This is a tricky fight, but by no means impossible. If you have to, use the same tactic we used for Hezrul Bloodmark. (Kill one and escape, eat, drink, then kill another and escape.) Once all 3 of them are dead, climb the tower. At the top you will find Canoneer Smythe, and one guard. Take care of them both.
8. Now head to the East tower, using the map shown above. Same routine as before, three guards on the ground level. Take them down, climb the tower, use any tactics you have and bring down Canoneer Wheesan, and leave the tower. At this point, it's a good idea to grind off 10 Theramore Medals if you don't have them already. They drop from any mob inside Northwatch.
9. Head back down the hill, clear off the mobs around the keep, then prepare yourself again. There are 4 mobs in this room, but they will pull 2 at a time. Range the healer then run around a corner so she's out of your line of sight, and she'll come running round to get you. Once her and the marine are dead, kill the two marines guarding the Blood Elf. Do not take his quest yet. Once they're dead, fight your way to the top of the tower, moving slowly and carefully, and keeping your eyes open. At the top of the tower, you will find around 4 regular mobs, and Captain Fairmount. The regular mobs should pull one at a time, so clear the area off until Fairmount is alone. Then simply kill her. Once she is dead, Climb back down the tower and talk to Gilthares Firebough, the blood elf, and get his quest, [22] Free From the Hold.
10. Escort Gilthares. Try to stay about 10 feet in front of him, and pull things towards you. He has a terrible habbit of running headlong into clusters of mobs and pulling more than you need to fight. He is also very fragile, so don't let him tank things for too long if you can help it. He will walk down the hill, to the main gates of Northwatch, then rest for a short while before heading north through the pirate camps. These are all much lower level than you now. The words "Turkey Shoot" and "Cakewalk" spring to mind. Escort him all the way to ratchet.
11. Welcome to Ratchet! There's quite a lot of things we have to do here, mostly quest turn-ins! Get to work turning in these quests..
If you have any more business to take care of in ratchet, do it now.
12. Lucky for us, there's a quest we need to do that's very nearby. What a coincidence! [19] Ishamuhale is very close to us. Head north to the dead tree at 59,30. On your way, Kill the first Zhevra you see. It should drop a lovely, fresh caracas. Tasty. When you get to the tree, Right-Click the Caracas in your inventory. This should summon Ishamuhale. Kill it.
13. Almost done! Head back to The Crossroads and turn in [20] Consumed By Hatred, and deal with any other business you have.
14. Once that's done, fly to Camp Taurajo and turn in [19] Ishamuhale. Get the followup, [18] Enraged Thunder Lizards.
15. Head north to 46,50 and look for Lakota'mani. This is a named Thunder Lizard. He has a long-ish patrol route and a less than ideal respawn time, so you might not find him. If you do find him, kill him, and loot his hoof. This hoof starts a quest, [22] Lakota'mani, which is worth 1,300 exp. After you have killed him, or while you are looking for him, kill the Thunderheads in the area and loot their blood. Once you have 3 Thunder Lizard Bloods, head back to Camp Taurajo. (Don't worry if you don't find Lakota'mani, he isn't essential, and the 1.3k exp isn't really worth camping the area for.)
16. Back in Taurajo, turn in [18] Enraged Thunder Lizards. Don't bother with the followup. Once that's done, fly to Orgrimmar, head back to Rilli Greasygob and give the Samophlange manual to him.
Congratulations!
You should now be Level 20! This guide stops here, but there's plenty more work to do for your character. My suggestion for you now is to try out the Wailing Caverns. This is, in my opinion, the first worthwhile instance for the Horde. There are some lovely drops for all classes in there, and you have done all the preparation already. Check out Jame's Wailing Caverns Guide before you head inside, and don't forget to get the quests from the Druids inside the "eye" above the entrance.
Also, Jame is working on a Guide for the horde, taking you from 20 right through to 60, which I will link from here as soon as it is published. There are also plenty more Barrens quests for you to do! We didn't touch the last of Jorn Skyseer's chain, or the Silithid, or the Dwarves in the south. We barely touched Ashenvale and Stonetalon, so there's lots of work to do there. And if you're willing to travel, Undead lands have a whole ton of quests we didn't even think about in this guide.
Please, don't forget to leave some replies to this post letting me know how you did, any problems you hit, areas you found difficult, or if you need more information in some areas. I will be watching these, and will try to reply quickly. Have fun, happy hunting!
Introduction
:Disclaimer: this guide has been collaborated from a variety of research of other guides and my own personal knowledge i do not willingly steal anyone elses own work.
Now that we got the disclaimer out of the way let me introduce you to my guide This is a Grinding / Questing guide for horde this is essentially a Grinding guide Set in order with quests ( mainly grinding ones) in the area of spots you will be grinding at. I will do my best to make it easy to read and helpful i will include pictures. Also I highly recommend James guide for leveling, its much better than mine.
I CONSIDER THIS BY NO MEANS A COMPLETE SET IN STONE LEVELING GUIDE SIMPLY A HELPFUL TOOL TO ACCELERATE GRINDING / LEVELING SPEED!!!.
alright now onto some helpful hints and tips for leveling quickly, and making gold along the way

I had lost my interest in writing a walkthrough.

This is a guide for fast leveling through Tirisfal Glades as an Undead character. If you’re another race, I recommend that you choose another guide. This guide will take into consideration classes (class quests and talent suggestions) and professions (and alternative circuits for gatherers). This guide will optimize your leveling for your class and profession of choice. The system used is emulating Jame’s because his guides are very detailed and comfortable to play after.
Why you should use this guide:
IMPORTANT!
These notes are important so that you won’t get lost in the guide. If you follow the instructions accordingly, there should be no questions about what you’re supposed to do next.
Recommended AddOns
Using AddOns are optional but there are some I recommend to make your leveling process easier. I will also mention the AddOns I use for personal satisfaction in case you wonder about something you might see in a screenshot:

Class specific information:
The color codes might look confusing at first glance but you’ll get used to it in no time.
The Guide!
Level 1
A new Forsaken has risen in the tomb of Deathknell. I suggest you take your time to fix your interface the way you want it and give your skills the proper key bindings. Make sure everything is set and then move out to grab your first quest.
Outside the tomb you should see Undertaker Mordo. Grab his quest [1] Rude Awakening.
Further north you should see a chapel at your left hand side.
Turn in [1] Rude Awakening at Shadow Priest Sarvis and grab his quest: [2] The Mindless Ones.
Now start killing Mindless Zombies and Wretched Zombies just outside the chapel until you've killed 8 of each.
You should be about halfway to level 3 by now.
Level 2
Go back to Shadow Priest Sarvis and turn in [2] The Mindless Ones.
A few more quests will now be available in the chapel. Take them all:
On the opposite side of the chapel are two houses. Take a minute to sell junk and repair.
Warlock: Grab the quest [3] Piercing the Veil from Venya Marthand in the chapel.

1: Go west until you reach the area colored on the map (30.60). Kill:
You should definitely be level 3 by now.
Level 3
2: When you're done or if you run out of mobs to kill, go east to (33.60) and start killing Rattlecage Skeletons until you complete [3] Rattling the Rattlecages.
Warlock: Make sure you get all 3 Rattlecage Skulls for the quest [3] Piercing the Veil.
If you haven't completed [2] The Damned yet, go back west into the colored area and kill Young Scavengers and Duskbats until you do.
Make sure you are at least 420 EXP (Warlock: 590 EXP) from level 4 before you go back to the chapel. If not, then keep killing mobs until you are.
3: Go back to the chapel and turn in:
Level 4
Grab the quests:
Sell junk. Repair. Visit your class trainer.
4: Go to the ruined houses east of the chapel. Look for crates like this:

Find 6 of those.
5: Go north to (36.62) where you should find Samuel Fipps. Kill him and loot Samuel's Remains.
6: Go west towards the cave at (27.59) while killing 10 Young Night Web Spiders.
Inside the cave you'll find Night Web Spiders. Kill 8 of those.
Keep killing spiders until you're at least 1130 EXP from level 5.
Hearthstone back to Deathknell.
Run north to the graveyard outside the chapel and click the sparkling pile of dirt next to a tombstone.
Turn in:
This should make you ding level 5.
Level 5
Take the follow up: [4] The Scarlet Crusade.

1: Run east to (36.67) and kill Scarlet Converts and Scarlet Initiates until you have 12 Scarlet Armbands.
2: When you're done, go back to Executor Arren and turn in [4] The Scarlet Crusade. Get the follow up: [5] The Red Messenger.
3: Go back to where you killed the Scarlet Crusaders and look for Meven Korgal (36.68).
NOTE: Attack him from the hill behind the tent if you want to avoid the other mobs.

Kill him and loot the Scarlet Crusade Documents.
Go back to Executor Arren and turn in the quest. Get the follow up: [5] Vital Intelligence.
Priest: Grab the quest [4] In Favor of Darkness from Dark Cleric Duesten.
Now it's time to leave Deathknell.
4: Follow the road north-east to (38.56) and grab Calvin Montague's quest [5] A Rogue's Deal.

1: Further east as the road forks you will find Deathguard Simmer (40.54). Grab his quest: [7] Fields of Grief.
2: Follow the road north-west to Solliden Farmstead (37.50).
NOTE: This can get tough but as long as you avoid groups and pull single mobs you will be okay. Watch out for Farmer Solliden who's a rare level 8 mob.
Gather 10 Tirisfal Pumpkins in the fields while killing Tirisfal Farmers and Tirisfal Farmhands until you hit level 6.
These mobs drop Linen Cloth which is used for First Aid and Tailoring. If you plan on becoming a Tailor, I suggest you take an additional circle around the farm to get some extra cloth.
Level 6

Follow the road east to Brill.
Along the way you should encounter a patrolling abomination named Gordo. Take his quest: [5] Gordo's Task.
1: Check the woods at the sides of the road for Gloom Weed.

NOTE: A good spot for Gloom Weed is under the bridge (52.54) leading to Brill (but beware of Rotting Deads).
You will have another chance later to get the remaining Gloom Weed. Keep following the road until you reach Brill.
Don't forget to visit the Tailoring Trainer in the house at Cold Hearth Manor (52.55) if you want to become a Tailor.
When you enter Brill you will pass by Deathguard Dillinger (58.51) outside the cemetary. Take his quest: [6] A Putrid Task.
Enter the first house to the right and turn in [7] Fields of Grief at Apothecary Johaan. Take the follow up [7] Fields of Grief and [6] A New Plague.
The Alchemy Trainer is standing right next to Apothecary Johaan. There's a Herbalist Trainer outside the house at (54.52).
Turn in [5] Vital Intelligence at Executor Zygand (60.51).
Take the quests:
Go to the inn.
The First Aid Trainer is right at the entrance.
Turn in the quest [5] A Rogue's Deal at Innkeeper Renee (61.52).
Make Brill your home.
Go to the basement and complete [7] Fields of Grief.
Priest: Turn in [4] In Favor of Darkness at Dark Cleric Beryl at the top floor of the inn. Get the follow up: [4] Garments of Darkness.
Take your time to sell junk, repair and visit your class trainer. You should also buy some bags if you can afford it. If you have higher level characters on the same realm, now is a good time to log in on them and send some bags over.
The Enchanting Trainer is at the top floor of the inn. The Skinning and Leatherworking Trainers are south-east of Brill at the road. If you want any of those professions, quickly run to (65.60) and then return to town. If you want to be a miner or a cook and can't wait a while longer, take this time to run south to Undercity for the Mining Trainer and the Cooking Trainer.
Priest: Go north to (59.46). Heal and fortify Deathguard Kel.

1: Go south-west to Cold Hearth Manor (50.55) while killing Ravaged Corpses and Rotting Deads for Putrid Claws (7).
2: Kill every Decrepit Darkhound and Cursed Darkhound on the way until you get 5 Darkhound Blood.
NOTE: The best place to find Darkhounds is along the colored area next to the road. Don't forget to pick up the remaining Gloom Weed if you haven't already.
3: Follow the road west to Calvin Montague (38.56). Take the quest [5] A Rogue's Deal.
Talk to him again and fight him. Keep in mind that fighting Calvin Montague will trigger you for PVP and make you vulnerable to Alliance players. Defeat him and turn in the quest.

You should be level 7 by now.
Level 7
4: Go north-west to Solliden Farmhand (33.44) and kill 10 Scarlet Warriors.
If you're a Tailor and wants some extra Linen Cloth, this is a good time to detour with a circle or two around the farm before you continue. If you're a Herbalist, follow the herb path on the map back to Brill and pick up herbs on the way. If you're a Miner, go east back to Brill along the mine path. Or if you don't want to:
Hearthstone back to Brill.
Turn in:
Grab:
Sell junk. Repair. Restock water and food.

1: Go south until you reach the Scarlet Crusade camp at (50.65).
NOTE: Kill every Duskbat on the way. You can stop when you've looted 5 Duskbat Pelts.
Kill:
NOTE: Grind on Scarlet Zealots and Scarlet Missionaries until you hit level 8. Then kill Captain Perrine. You don't have to complete [7] Proof of Demise now.
Level 8
2: Kill Duskbats in the colored area if you still need Duskbat Pelts.
3: Run back to Brill.

Go north to (58.31). Along the way:

NOTE: Maggot Eye is level 10. Easiest way to kill him is to pull the mobs outside the house one at the time. If you're a caster: clear the field around the fence and pull him at max range. If you're melee: fight him inside the house. It shouldn't be too difficult at level 8.
2: Go north to the coast at (61.27) and kill Murlocs until you have 5 Vile Fin Scales.
Go south and make sure you complete [6] Doom Weed and [8] Graverobbers on the way.

Go north-west to Agamand Mills (45.33).

Kill him and loot Devlin's Remains.
If you aren't level 9 already. Grind in the area until you are.
Level 9
2: You will find Nissa Agamand in the house to the east at (49.35).
NOTE: You will either find her in the doorway or inside the building. She might be tough for some classes so make sure you clear the area before you attack her.

This concludes our guide. I hope you had as fun using it as I had writing it. If you have any feedback, questions or if you want to share your experiences from using the guide, please write a comment below. I recommend continuing with SilverKnight's 13-21 Silverpine Guide now.
Introduction
I was not sure what I wanted to put here, so my introduction is based on Jame's leveling guide introduction.
This guide is made for FAST leveling through the use of Optimized Quest Circuits. With this guide, questing will be very efficient and you'll not waste any second running around and trying to figure out in which order to do your quests. Follow each instruction carefully and you will see for yourself. The quest choices and order to do them are optimal so that you run as few as possible while doing the most possible, turning several quests at the same time. It will be like grinding, because you'll be killing stuff almost non-stop, besides you'll also be completing a bunch of quests at the same time!
Everything described in this guide can be done solo (beside when I say otherwise). You can, of course, follow this guide while duoing, grouping, it's not a problem, it works too.
You'll realize that I grind a few bars here and there, but that's merely so you're able to accept quests I want you to do before heading back into town! (Ex. Breaking Sharptusk, it requires you to be level 3 and if you don't grind, you'll be about 6 bars from level 3.)
DISCLAIMER: This guide does NOT take into account tradeskills, class specific quests or PvP. It's 100% focused on getting the most experience possible in the shortest possible time while doing a lot of quests and enjoying as much content as possible. Any race/class combination can do this guide. Any complaints about PvP, tradeskills, or class specific issues will be ignored.
Basic Rules
Useful Addons
To get the most out of my guide, you should get an addon which displays coordinates, because I use them to describe locations in my guide (x,y). You can use any addon you like, but here's a very simple one I use.
Recommended
Optional
Below is a list of other addons Jame uses, this is 100% optional though, it's mostly for people who are curious to know which addons Jame uses:
Side Note: In case you don't know how to install add-ons, simply download an addon from one of the links above and unzip it. Then drag the unziped folder in your Addon folder (full path is c:\\Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\Interface\\Addons). Then, restart World of Warcraft and it should be working.
If it isn't working, you might need to log out to your character selection screen and click on "Addons" in the lower-left corner. Tick the box that says "Load out of date Addons". Re-launch WoW.

So you've completed my guide! I hope you enjoyed it! TAURENS FTW! You can continue with Guide to The Barrens (12-20). Find the Tauren "Getting to Crossroads" section and go from there! I'm pretty sure I didn't steal any quests from that guide, but if I did, I apologize! IF I missed anything, had a typo anywhere, please comment and let me know! Thanks for using my guide! Bodyfat ads. Total turn offs!

Introduction
Tired of trying to find Mankrik's wife? Don't want to deal with Blood Elves for another 12 levels? This is the guide for you!
WARNING: If you hate people with senses of humor, press your friendly neighborhood Back button now, and save yourself a lot of heartache.
(Thanks for that, Jame.
)
In order to use all of this to the best of your ability, having some sort of coordinate addon (be it DMiniCoords, TomTom, or an coord displayer baked into another addon like Titan or SimpleMinimap) is pretty much necessary, since much of the guide--and many, many online websites--rely on coordinates to give an accurate display of where certain items/NPCs may be.
I've also found QuestHelper or the free version of Carbonite Quest to be invaluable in speeding up questing route information.
=NOTE=: Those addons, while useful, have been known to use up a great deal of memory while enabled, so if you're encountering undue lag or graphical issues, don't use them. Instead, an addon like Map Notes (Fan Update) might be more useful.
Now, to steal from Jame again:
Shorthand
Go-Go Gadget Guide!
First thing's first: Head to Brill in Tirisfal Glades and speak with Apothecary Johaan at (59,52). Accept [10] Delivery to Silverpine Forest. Then run southwest into Silverpine Forest.

1. Head south until you reach the Sepulcher. Set your Hearthstone here. While here, grab all available quests, including:
Buy whatever food and water you need, then head east.
2. Kill five Moonrage Whitescalps, while killing whatever Ferocious Grizzly Bears that you see. =NOTE=: Make sure to avoid the woodland area directly west of the road, as level 21 elites like to path around and eat you. They apparently like the taste of lowbie in the morning.
3. Head north along the road until you reach (53,13). Speak to Rane Yorick and turn-in [12] Lost Deathstalkers. Accept [11] Wild Hearts.
4. Make certain to kill any and all Mottled Worgs that you see for their hearts while heading slightly North to (56,9). Speak with Deathstalker Erland and accept the (only-slightly) self-explanatory quest [11] Escorting Erland. He complains about Worgs coming out of the woodwork to attack him. This isn't an exaggeration. Erland is also about as physically fit as an 82 year old cancer patient, so make sure he doesn't wind up tanking more than one, or he goes squish and you wind up with a small army of angry dogs on you.
5. Whenever Erland finishes aggroing everything in a five mile radius, turn it in at Rane and accept [11] The Deathstalkers' Report. If you aren't done gathering hearts, head north and kill the furry little buggers until you collect the rest and/or your vengeance has been sated. Once you've done so, either hearth, deathwarp, or run back to the Sepulcher.

Turn in all available quests, and accept [11] Arugal's Folly (1) and [11] Return to Quinn. While there, turn in [11] The Deathstalkers' Report, get [12] Speak with Renferrel, then immediately turn that in at Apothecary Renferrel and accept [15] Zinge's Delivery. Leave the Sepulcher and head North.
1. Go to (52,28) and head to the second floor of the building. Touch the Dusty Spellbooks and grab the Remedy of Arugal.
2. Head North to (53,12) and talk to Quinn Yorick to turn in [11] Return to Quinn. (Surprise, surprise.) Leave the building and speak with Rane again to get [12] Ivar the Foul.
Head to the barnyard at the end of the field, picking off any undead that might decide to spit in your Cheerios by linking with another nearby mob. When you enter said barnyard, make sure to press your back against the wall and wait for a mob to path up to you:

Kill him quickly, then proceed around the corner. Ivar the Foul has a nice little friend chilling easily within aggro distance, and there's no way to pull solo. If worse comes to worse, focus down Ivar, loot him, and book. (OR, you could be stupid and do what I did: kill the add first, run away because Ivar has jacked you up, die to the mobs you forgot to kill outside the barn, then rez and kill everything in sight with extra prejudice. Twice.)
3. Once you're done, turn in [12] Ivar the Foul, then head SW to the Dead Fields at (45,21). Nightlash might already be spawned, but if she isn't, kill all the Rot Hide Gnolls you see until she does. Kill her, loot her essence, then continue NW.
4. Head to the (36,15)-ish area and kill whatever spiders and bears you see for their Skittering Bloods and Grizzled Bear Hearts. =NOTE=: Watch out for another Son of Arugal that likes to path around and ninja-gank unsuspecting adventurers. If you ever need a reason to go solo SFK, do so out of pure hatred for Arugal's furry flunkies. I'll give you cookies.
Once you've finished, either Hearth to the Sepulcher or deathwarp.
And here's a word from our sponsors: DEATHWARP XXL!
"What is Deathwarping?" you ask. It's a very easy process of killing yourself in order to spirit rez at whatever graveyard you pop up at. It sucks for repair bills, sure, but when you're level 13, you don't have to worry too much about breaking the bank because you thought it would be funny to punch that 21 elite in the head a few times out of spite. By and large, deathwarping can speed up travel time at lower levels. But read the warning label!
"WARNING: May inadvertently teleport you to an area completely different than where you wanted to go, depending on what graveyard may be closer to you. Talk with your doctor before use."
Deathwarp XXL: Don't leave home without it.
Oh, and you should have hit 14 by now.
Turn in all your available quests, and accept [14] Argual's Folly (2) and the [16] The Decrepit Ferry. Fly to Undercity. Head to (48,69) and turn in both [12] A Recipe for Death (1), and [15] Zinge's Delivery. From both NPCs, accept [15] A Recipe for Death (2), and [15] Sample for Helbrim.
Make sure to train and do whatever else it is that you intend to do in main cities.
=NOTE=: From here, I head to the Barrens to continue questing for a while. If the thought of killing Zhevras again makes you physically ill (and it rightly should), you can continue in Snowflake's Ghostlands Guide until you're 16-ish. Anywho, on with the show.
Head out of Undercity and take the zeppelin to Orgrimmar. Grab the FP if you need, then head south of the city to Razor Hill. Accept the quest [12] Conscript of the Horde from Takrin Pathseeker at (50,43). Head West into the Barrens.

1. Enter the Crossroads and turn in [12] Conscript of the Horde and [15]Sample for Helbrim. Set your Hearthstone to the inn, and accept:
Grab food and water, head north.
2. Kill every Plainstrider you see for their beaks. ALSO, start killing raptors whenever you see them for their Raptor Heads.
3. Continue heading NE, killing Thornweavers, Hunters, and Water-seekers until you get to (59,24). Grab the Crossroad Supply Crates, and continue killing whatever quillboars and Plainstriders you need.
4. Once you've finished that, head south into Ratchet. Turn in [11] Wharfmaster Dizzywig, but do not get the follow-up. From Sputtervalve accept [14] Samophlange (1). Proceed North to Gazlowe at (62,36), and accept [14] Southshore Freebooters. Then run to the nearby wanted sign and pick up [16] WANTED: Baron Longshore. Head south.
5. Kill Brigands and Cannonners while making your way to (62,47).
6. Wave to Baron Longshore. Then kill him and loot his head. =NOTE=: Occasionally, he spawns farther south, closer to Northwatch Hold; if he doesn't show up at my noted spawn-point, try looking there, also.
You should hit 15 around this point.

1. Return to Ratchet and turn in [14] Southshore Freebooters and [16] WANTED: Baron Longshore at Gazlowe. Accept [14] The Missing Shipment (1) and run to Wharfmaster Dizzywig. Turn it in, accept [14] The Missing Shipment (2). Continue to filch off of the laziness of Goblins and run back to Gazlowe again to turn it back in. Don't take the follow up.
Fly to the Crossroads.
2. Turn in [12] Plainstrider Menace and pick up the much maligned [14] The Zhevra quest. Also turn in [12] Disrupt the Attacks and [14] Supplies for the Crossroads; accept [15] The Disruption Ends. Head East.
3. Kill Defenders and Geomancers while making your way to (58,27). Kill Kreenig Snarlsnout and loot his tusk. Occasionally there is a rare elite that spawns nearby him. As tempting as it is to want to smack said rare-elite up, don't do it. It leads to badness and corpse walks.
Once finished, head West.
4. Enter the Forgotten Pools and get four Fungal Spores. Swim down to the base of the lake at (45,24) and complete [13] The Forgotten Pools. Head South.
5. Commence Operation: Zhevra Genocide. The WoW community at large will thank you for it, later. Should you take on this mission, you'll need to kill every one you see until four hooves drop. You'd think that a quadruped horse would have four each, but alas...

1. Whenever you manage to finish, if you sanity lets you take it that far, head back to the Crossroads. Turn in [15] The Disruption Ends and [14] The Zhevra. Accept [15] Prowlers of the Barrens. Head North. Way, waaay north.
2. Run to around (55,16) and start killing Savannah Prowlers for their claws. It's a 100% drop rate (thank God), so you should be done quickly.
3. Concentrate on finding the remainder of your raptors for their Raptor Heads. They're all over the freaking area, so it might take a bit of hunting to manage the last 3-4 of them.
4. Once done, head to (52,11) and turn in [14] Samophlange (1). Accept [14] Samophlange (2), and turn off all the nearby valves. Return to the console, turn it in and accept [14] Samophlange (3), then head slightly East and kill Tinkerer Sniggles for his key. Then return to said console, turn in again and accept [16] Samophlange (4).
Hearth to the Crossroads. Turn in [15] Prowlers of the Barrens. Don't get the follow-up. Fly to Ratchet, talk to Sputtervalve, and turn in [16] Samophlange (4). Don't get that follow-up, either.
You should be 16 by now.
Fly back to the Crossroads. Talk to Apothecary Helbrim and take the timed quest [15] Apothecary Zamah. You have 45 minutes to run from there to Thunder Bluff. If you already have the FP, just fly and save yourself the trouble. If not:

Make sure to grab the FP at Camp Taurajo while you're there.

Enter Thunder Bluff. Run up to the Spirit Rise, and into the cave at (24,21). Turn the quest in. While you're here, grab the FP, and train if you can manage it.
Fly to Orgrimmar, train here if you couldn't there, and then take the zeppelin to Undercity.

1.From there, fly to the Sepulcher, and remember to SET YOUR HEARTHSTONE. Yes, in caps. (I've forgotten to every single time I came back. QQ)
Head NE.
2. Head to the Corpse Laden Boat at (58,35), and turn in [16] The Decrepit Ferry. Accept [16] Rot Hide Clues, and run South.
3. Kill Moonrage Gluttons and Moonrage Darksouls for [14] Arugal's Folly (2).
4. Head way SW to (50,60) and click on the Dalaran Crate to turn in [14] Border Crossings and accept [14] Maps and Runes. You'll have to kill most of the Dalaran Mages wandering nearby, just because they drop cool robes that have the Kirin Tor signet on it. Oh, and because they try to kill you if you get too close. Stupid Mages.
Hearth, deathwarp or run back to the Sepulcher. Turn in all your available quests, and accept all the new ones. Make sure your quest log looks something like this:
Congrats, you should be 17.

1. Fight your way to the back of the cave and kill Grimson the Pale for [15] Arugal's Folly (3). Skinner/Miners rejoice. Run SE to Ambermill.
2. Kill every humanoid that moves for their Dalaran Pendants. The Protectors like to spawn level 1 critter adds that can be one shotted, but can be irritating. Kill them extra dead. Run SW to Pyrewood.
3. Fight your way through to (43,73) and click on Berard's Bookshelf to get his journal. You also more than likely will have to kill Apothecary Berard to get to said bookshelf, since he's all protective of his junk and...junk. Hearth or deathwarp back to the Sepulcher.
You know the drill. Turn in and then accept. =NOTE=: Ensure you have a lot of food and a lot of water, because the next two quests kind of suck. A lot.

(I spelled 'hardened' wrong. Sigh.)
1. Kill every Rot Hide Gnoll you see for their Rot Hide Ichor. While doing this, try to make sure that A Talking Head drops, because it starts the quest [17] Resting in Pieces. If it still hasn't dropped by the time all eight ichors have, continue on killing them for another 5-10 minutes. If it's still a no-show, screw the severed head and come back for it later.
Oh yes, why we are coming back here later. My condolences ahead of time.
2. Head East and kill Lake Skulkers for Lake Skulker Moss (clever, ne?). Melee will hate these buggers, because of a debuff that randomly has you dropping your weapon whenever you attack. They also like to respawn quickly and beat you down while you're bandaging. So much hatred. But I digress.
3. Kill murlocs for the Hardened Tumor. 'Nuff said.
4. If you think anything but Lake Creepers drop Lake Creeper Moss, seek medical attention now. These guys have a similar debuff as their Skulker cousins, only instead of knocking your weapon out of your hand, they knock you down entirely.
Hearth to the Sepulcher. Turn in and accept all available quests, barring the SFK ones, because they're a waste. (Can you tell I'm beginning to get a bit lazy with this? *whistles innocently*) Fly to Undercity. Run up to Brill, turn in [16] The Engraved Ring at (61,50). Accept the follow up, [16] Raleigh and the Undercity and head back into the Undercity.
Once there, turn in [17] Rot Hide Origins at Bethor Iceshard, and accept [16] Thule Ravenclaw. While mulling about, run to Raleigh, turn in his quest and get [20] A Husband's Revenge.
You should've hit 18 by this point, and if you didn't...bahaha, no upgrades for you!
Fly back to the Sepulcher. Turn in [16] Thule Ravenclaw, and accept [16] Report to Hadrec. Turn that in, and accept [20] Assault on Fenris Isle (told you that you'd be back!). Your quest log should look like this:

WARNING!
A few of quests--namely Assault on Fenris Isle and The Weaver--are ridiculously difficult at level 18, so I recommend you skip them and make the experience up in the Ghostlands. Again, I'll state, these last three quests are insanely hard and very frustrating, and as such, created this guide with skipping them in mind. Hell, I skipped them on my last head-through. However, it is a lot of exp to lose out on, so if you want to stick it out, you're welcome to.
With that out of the way, onto the show.
1. Now for the easy part. Head to Pyrewood and kill everything in sight until you get six Pyrewood Shackles. While there, head to (46,74), and accept the quest [15] Pyrewood Ambush. It's a straight forward quest. It's a semi-gauntlet of mobs--first one, then two, then two waves of three. I ignored it last trip down here because a few classes (coughPriestscough) would probably get destroyed at a lower level due to the number of mobs. But it should be easily handled at 18.
2. Head South--avoiding yet another Son of Arugal that likes to own you randomly--and find Valdred Moray pathing around the dozen or so NPCs near the Gilneas gate. It's difficult to get to Moray without clearing an area for him to walk into. The best way is to find a small group of two mobs and kill them. It's doubtful you can take two at once, so pick one off and run away until you drop combat to kill the other.

Once that's done, wait for Moray to walk far enough away from other mobs to come solo, and used a ranged attack on him. (Sorry Pallies.
) He actually hits fairly hard, so don't be afraid to pop cooldowns to survive. Once he's dead, loot Valdred's Hands and head NE.
3. Head into the fairly secluded cave and kill six Ravenclaw Drudgers and Ravenclaw Guardians. Another quest where you'll have to be patient and grab mobs carefully from long range. Head North, when done.
4. Archmage Ataeric by himself isn't ridiculously difficult--it's the dozen or so mobs outside of his run down shack that will make your life unhappy. It's yet another quest where you have to pick off mobs one at a time and hope one of the billion patrols don't suddenly decide to play "Kill the Lowbie Horde".

The best way is as shown above; pick off the patrols, and then kill that Warlock chilling out to the right of the entrance. The group to the left has three people (the Warlock's pet pretty much counts as a third, since it hits hard enough), and is the reason why I have a bald spot now.
Once you find yourself inside the building, kill the two mobs in there, and make your way to Ataeric.
=NOTE=: Ataeric casts a ranged Frost Nova every 10 seconds or so, and has a ~2 second cast time. Melee classes must interrupt this spell if you don't want to be rocked by a level 22 Frostbolt spamming Mage. If you want to drop this quest and move on, you're well within your rights--I only beat him on my Rogue (on my third try, no less) by virtue of being stubborn and vindictive.
Once he's dead, loot Ataeric's Staff and head North to Fenris Isle.
You should have or be very close to 19.
This. Quest. Sucks. Seriously, if you don't want to deal with the hassle of facing down a crapload of undead Gnolls, abandon it and head to the Ghostlands. If you still want to take a crack at it, continue on.
Once entering Fenris Isle, make sure you have [17] Resting in Pieces. If not, kill Gnolls until A Talking Head drops, and accept it. Head to (67,24) and turn this quest in at the dirt pile with legs known as the Shallow Grave. From it, accept [18] The Hidden Niche.
Travel into Fenris Isle keep, laying waste to everything in your path, because it's fun. That and Gnolls path like crazy in there, and you can never be certain when something you don't want to fight will respawn on top of you. In order to make it to the top:
- Head to the center of the building, and fight your way up the winding stairwell (try to take the doorway to your right when you enter--though it makes no real difference).
- From there, try to grab one or two of the Gnolls waiting at the top without aggroing the one or two Gnolls on the other side of the open doorway. This might take some timing and a lot of luck.
- When they die, go through the door on your left, clear up the sloping ramp, and into the main building at (65,23).
Wave at Thule Ravenclaw. Make sure you have Bethor's Potion handy. Then nuke Thule down and loot him the moment he dies, so when you die shortly thereafter--and you more than likely will die--you won't have to worry about him despawning.
(I told you this quest sucked.)
From there, head back into the previous hall, but travel up the tower stairs. Head to (65,24)--you can travel across the roof of the building if you're at the wrong spot--and at the Dusty Shelf, turn in and accept [18] Wand to Bethor.

Hearth or deathwarp to the Sepulcher. Turn in all your quests. Fly to Undercity and train if you need. Run to Bethor Iceshard at (84,17) and turn in [18] Wand to Bethor. Return to Raleigh in the center of Undercity and turn in [20] A Husband's Revenge.
Take the magical transportermalogical do-hickey to Silvermoon. Balk at its bright and cheery atmosphere despite it being a total ghost-town.
If you don't have the Silvermoon FP, get it. If you have the Tranquillen FP, fly there. If not, run south along the Dead Scar until you hit Ghostlands.

1. Get the FP, and set your Hearthstone. Accept the following quests:
Head SE to the Sanctum of the Sun.
2. Turn in [20] Sanctum of the Sun, and accept [20] War on Deatholme and [16] The Farstrider Enclave. Head NE to the Farstrider Enclave.
3. Turn in [16] The Farstrider Enclave, and accept all the following quests:
4. Head South to Zeb'Tala. Kill Shadowpine Shadowcasters and Shadowpine Headhunters for both the Zeb'Tala destruction quest, and for the Shadowcaster Maces and Headhunter Axes they drop. Once that's done, head NE.
5. Fight your way to the top of Dawnstare Spire and touch the Dusty Journal to complete the quest. Accept [16] Hints of the Past and head West to the Amani Catacombs.
6. Burn the Mummified Troll Remains with the Blazing Torch, and head into the heart of the catacombs to get a complete message. While there, kill any trolls you see for their Troll Juju. Once those are done, speak with Ranger Lilathia at (62,32) to start the escort quest [16] Escape from the Catacombs. She's a dumb little twit, so don't expect her to avoid aggroing a bunch of mobs while you're eating. Follow her back to the Farstrider Enclave and turn in all your quests.
You should have hit 20 around now.

1. Head South to Zeb'Nowa and kill Shadowpine Catlords and Shadowpine Hexxers for [19] Assault on Zeb'Nowa, along with the Catlord Claws and Hexxer Staves for the latter half of [18] Shadowpine Weaponry. You should also be getting credit for [14] Bearers of the Plague from the Ghostclaw Lynx pets the Catlords have.
2. Poison the Fresh Fish Rack at (68,58).
3. Poison the Raw Meat Rack at (65,66).
4. Poison the Smoked Meat Rack at (63,74).
Once all this is done, Hearthstone to Tranquillen. Turn in [16] Investigate the Amani Catacombs, and [17] Troll Juju. Get food, water, and run SE.

1. Head to the Sanctum of the Sun and turn in [16] Report to Magister Kaendris. Accept [17] The Twin Ziggurats. Head West.
2. Run into the Eastern-most Ziggurat and single pull the casters with line of sight:

Paladins, your life really sucks for a lot of these quests. I'm sorry.
Kill all of the casters, and then loot the Stone of Flame from the coffer. Leave the Ziggurat and run further West.
3. Repeat the same process in this Ziggurat, and loot the Stone of Light from the chest. Run out and head down the Dead Scar.
4. Kill pretty much anything undead that you see: Dreadbone Sentinals and Sorcerers for their Spinal Dust, and Risen Stalkers for their Rotting Hearts. =NOTE=: Watch out for Lurzan, a 21 elite that patrols up and down the Dead Scar; he cannot be soloed at your level. And I tried repeatedly. Once you've gotten all that, run South.
5. Run into Deatholme and kill Eyes of Dar'Khan, Nerubian Centurions, and Wailers for [20] War on Deatholme. Watch out for these mobs, because pretty much every one has a fairly long-lasting damage-over-time effect that--if you rely on bandaging--can really screw up your day.
6. Run North to (46,56) and accept [18] Clearing the Way from Apprentice Vor'el. Run South.
7. Kill Greater Spindlewebs and Ghostclaw Ravagers for said quest you just grabbed in the nearby vicinity. Once finished, run back to Vor'el and turn it back in for some easy exp.
You should have hit 21 by now.
=NOTE=: If you want to turn in what quests you have completed and head on to Jame's 21-31 Horde Leveling Guide, then go for it. That's all this guide was really meant to do. But, if you skipped those final quests in Silverpine, or you just want that little bit of extra exp, continue on.
Run North to Sanctum of the Sun and turn in [20] War on Deatholme. Accept [20] Dar'Khan's Leiutenants and [20] A Restorative Draught. Run to Tranquillen and turn in [16] Rotting Hearts, [18] Spinal Dust at Magistrix Aminel, and [20] A Restorative Draught at Apothecary Renzithen. Accept [20] Captives at Deatholme from him. Use the draughts you were given from the Belfett for the upcoming quests in Deatholme; you'll need them.
Head to Deatholme.

1. Head to the first Ziggurat to the right of the entrance. Speak with Apothecary Enith laying on the altar, and kill Jurion the Deceiver nearby. Leave and head SE.
2. Kill Midoran the Fallen in the center of the ampitheater-like building. Clear the Wailers out nearby if you need to; they tend to join in when you don't want them to. Stupid banshees.
3. There's a path that, at first, might be hard to notice. Clear your way up said path to the Ziggurat at (40,83) and rescue Apprentice Varnis. This is also one of the two spawn points for Borgoth the Bloodletter. If he isn't here and doesn't respawn after five minutes, head out and go SW.
4. Kill Masophet the Black in one of these two places. He isn't very hard, but as always, adds are a problem when you don't go Johnny the Homicidal Maniac on everything in the immediate vicinity. Head West.
5. Rescue Ranger Vedoran at (32,89). She seems the nicest of the three NPCs you saved from certain death. This is also the second spawn-point for Borgoth the Bloodletter. If you didn't get to stab him dead last time, this should be where he is.
Once finished all these, run NE to Sanctum of the Sun and turn in [20] Dar'Khan's Leiutenants and [20] Captives at Deatholme. Run further NE to Farstrider Enclave and turn in [19] Assault on Zeb'Nowa, [18] Shadowpine Weaponry, [14] Bearers of the Plague, and [19] A Little Dash of Seasoning.
You should have hit 21 now even without the final Silverpine quests, and be Friendly/Honored with pretty much every faction that currently counts, to boot.. If not, well, you might have to go grind on a few trolls nearby until you do ding.
Hearth to Tranquillen. Fly to Silvermoon. Teleport to Undercity, and take the Zeppelin to Orgrimmar. Train at whichever city you can first, get food, and water, repair, /dance on a mailbox, and head straight to Jame's 21-31 Horde Leveling Guide for all your future leveling needs.
Thanks for reading this far! Hope I was helpful!
(If anyone wants to use this on their website, they're more than welcome to--just give credit where it's due.

Introduction:
This is a guide for players who start out as Blood Elves. It will guide you from level 1 to 12. If you need guides for any other level range (or race) please check out this page. Attention: Other races can't get quests described in this guide until Aiding the Outrunners on up. The quests before that point are only available to Blood Elves but any other race wishing to use this guide can level to 5 in their own starting area then continue on with this guide from that point.
Suggestion on how to use this guide (from PraterR)
I found that playing WOW in Windowed Mode feels very comfortable while following along with this guide.
The guide will be open in an internet window.
You then Alt-Tab to your WOW game. (Log in and enter game world)
Press escape and access your Video options. Near the top there is a checkbox with "Windowed Mode" inscribed next to it.
Check the Box [x] and press okay.
You will notice that you can move and stretch your WOW window in such a way as to see the internet guide above or below it.
When you need to click the internet window and scroll down or up (depending on how you want to view it) to the next paragraph of the guide.
General Tips/Remarks:
Useful Addons:

Color Code:
Level 1
Get [1] Reclaiming Sunstrider Isle from Magistrix Erona (who is in front of the big gazeebo building). Go down the big stairs and you should see plenty of Mana Wyrms. Kill 8 of them.
Level 2
Turn in [1] Reclaiming Sunstrider Isle at Magistrix Erona. Get the follow ups:
[1]
[3] Unfortunate Measures
Enter the big gazeebo building in front of you. Turn in [1]
[4] Solanian's Belongings
[4] The Shrine of Dath'Remar
Jump down to the left. Get [4] A Fistful of Slivers from Arcanist Ithanas. Go through the gazeebo in front of you and get [3] Thirst Unending from Arcanist Helion. Sell junk if needed.
Go down the big stairs. Kill any Springpaw Lynx you come across. While down there, find a Mana Wyrm and use Arcane Torrent close to it. This will complete your quest.
Kill things in this area until you have:
Turn in all the finished quests. You should ding level 3 from turning them in. Get the follow up [3] Report to Lanthan Perilon from Magistrix Erona. Sell junk.
Level 3
Go south to (37.7, 24.9). Pick up Solanian's Journal.

You'll find Lanthan Perilon to the west at (35.4, 22.5). Turn in [3] Report to Lanthan Perilon and get the follow up: [4] Aggression.

Go northwest to (31.4, 22.8 ). Pick up Scroll of Scourge Magic.

Go west to (28.9, 19.5). You should get the "Shrine of Dath'Remar discovered" message. Read the tablet on the shrine.

Return to the quest givers while finishing [4] Aggression, then turn in all quests. You should ding level 4 from this if you aren't level 4 already.. Sell junk, repair and train your new abilities.
Level 4
Go back to Lanthan Perilon and turn in [4] Aggression. Get the follow up [5] Felendren the Banished.
Go southwest to (32.7, 25.6). Go up the ramp and kill the Arcane Wraiths. Go left and clear your way. Continue straight up the ramp and kill the Tainted Arcane Wraith aswell as the Arcane Wraith. One of these mobs on your way should drop Tainted Arcane Silver. Right click it and start the quest. Go up all the way to the top and kill whatever is in your way. Until you see Felendren the Banished in the middle of a big platform.

Personally, I first pulled the two Tainted Arcane Wraiths (can single pull them) and then I pulled Felendren. He is a shadow priest and casts mind flay so Arcane Torrent might help. I was level 5 when I arrived at his platform so the fight was particularly easy but you shouldn't have any problems killing him. Loot his head.
Once done, use your hearthstone. Turn in [4] Tainted Arcane Sliver at Arcanist Helion and sell junk. You should be level 5 by now.
Level 5

Return to Lanthan Perilon and turn in [5] Felendren the Banished. Get the follow up [5] Aiding the Outrunners. Go south east over the bridge towards the Ruins of Silvermoon. At (40,32) you should find Outrunner Alarion. Turn in [5] Aiding the Outrunners and get the follow up [5] Slain by the Wretched. Continue southeast towards the Ruins of Silvermoon. At (42,35) you should find Slain Outrunner. Turn in [5] Slain by the Wretched and get the follow up. Go back to Outrunner Alarion, turn in the quest and get the follow up. Now follow the main road southeast until you reach Falconwing Square.
Turn in [5] Completing the Delivery at the innkeeper.
Bind at the inn, train first aid and/or cooking (on top floor of the inn) if you want. Sell junk, restock arrows and food and buy bags if you can (General Goods Vendor is inside the inn).
Get the following quests:
[5] Major Malfunction
[5] Unstable Mana Crystals
[6] Wanted: Thaelis the Hungerer from the wanted poster.
Now go back to the main road which led you here, however instead of following it, jump off to the right side. Go to (45,37) and kill every Arcane Patroller on your way. Also loot every Unstable Mana Crystal Crate you find.

When you arrive at the location you should see a big run down building. It's called Commons Hall. Inside it you'll find Thaelis the Hungerer. Be careful to pull all the Wretched Urchins around him first before attacking Thaelis. Loot his head and make your way back towards Falconwing Square. Be sure to loot 6 Unstable Mana Crystals and 6 Arcane Cores (from the Arcane Patrollers) on your way. You should have dinged level 6 by now.
Level 6

At Falconwing Square turn in all your finished quests and get all follow ups. Train, repair and sell junk.
1. Exit Falconwing Square to the south. Go to (44,53) where you'll find the North Sanctum. Turn in [6] Delivery to the North Sanctum and get the follow up.
2. Go west to (36, 57). Turn in [5] Malfunction at the West Sanctum at Ley-Keeper Velania and get the follow up.
3. Kill 5 Mana Wraiths and Mana Stalkers around the West Sanctum. At the same time look for Darnassian Scout who lurks around at (36, 61). Kill him and loot Incriminating Documents from him. Right click the item to start a quest.
Once done, turn in [6] Arcane Instability and [6] Darnassian Intrusions at Ley-Keeper Velania. This should make you ding 7.
Level 7
4. Go behind the sanctum to (29,58). There you should find Hathvelion Sungaze. Get his quest.
5. Jump down the cliff and kill murlocs close-by until you've got 8 heads. While you kill murlocs it might be that you find Captain Kelisendra's Lost Rutters. Right click it for a quest (we'll turn that one in later). Go back to Sungaze and turn in the quest, get the follow up.
Hearthstone back to Falconwing Square. (Or walk if HS isn't up) Turn in [6] Incriminating Documents at Aeldon Sunbrand and get the follow up.

1. Go back to the North Sanctum. Be sure to be full health and buffed before you talk to Prospector Anvilward. Once you speak to him, follow his dialogue. He'll take you inside the building where he'll become attackable. Even though you can kill him at that point, he won't attack you right away. So if you are a hunter for example (at level 7 this might be difficult) take good distance and shoot him with your bow first. Loot his head.
NOTE: At the end of this section I'm adding an optional quest circuit. Don't bother doing it if your goal is to level asap (the quest path involves a lot of running around). However if you care for some additional faction/exp/gold, skip the rest of this note, continue right away with paragraph 2 and follow the steps marked as "optional".
For those who DON'T do the additional quests: just go back to Falconwing Square now, turn in [7] The Dwarven Spy and get the follow up [7] Fairbreeze Village (train and sell junk). From there head south towards the Fairbreeze Village, continue with steps 2 & 3 and skip the paragraphs marked as "optional".
2. At (45,56) you should see Apprentice Ralen, get his quest.
3. Further south at (44,60) you should find Apprentice Meledor. Turn in [6] Roadside Ambush. Get the follow up. Dive under the bridge just in front of you. There should be a book under water looking like this:

Loot it and return to Apprentice Meledor. Turn in the quest and don't get the follow up UNLESS you want to do the optional part. If you don't want to do it, continue straight to Fairbreeze Village (*) and skip the following two paragraphs.
OPTIONAL: Go to (55, 54) and turn in [6] Taking the Fall at Instructor Antheol (O-1), get the follow up. Now go to (50,50) where you should see Ranger Jaela (O-2). Accept her quest. Now return to both apprentices (Ralen and Meledor) target them and right-click the rod from your inventory that Anetheol gave you.

OPTIONAL: Go back to Instructor Anetheol, however on the way through the Dead Scar kill 8 Plaguebone Pillagers. Turn in [6] Swift Discipline and go back to Ranger Saela. Turn in.
Return to Falconwing Square, turn in [7] The Dwarven Spy and get the follow up [7] Fairbreeze Village. Train and sell junk. Then go south to the Fairbreeze Village (*).
Level 8
Set Fairbreeze Village as your new home point.
Turn in [7] Fairbreeze Village at Ranger Degolien and get the follow up. Get the following quests:

**From now on kill every Springpaw Stalker or Elder Springpaw on your way**
1. First go southwest to (38,73) where you should be able to hand in [9] Saltheril's Haven. Get the follow up [9] The Party Never Ends. Go north to (36,66) where you'll find a camp of NPCs. Get both quests there. Also turn in [8] Captain Kelisendra's Lost Rutters if you got the item earlier. Now follow the green line marked on the map.
2. First stop at the big white gazeebo and run circles around it while killing Wretched Thugs and Wretched Hooligans and looting Weapon Containers.
3. Continue to the murlocs and kill them until you have 6 Captain Kelisendra's Cargo. (You can loot those as well from barrels close to the murlocs)
Watch out for Mmmrrrggglll (named murloc), who roams along the beach. Kill him and loot his head. While killing murlocs it might happen that you get Captain Kelisendra's Lost Rutters. If you get it, loot it and right click it for an extra quest.
4. At Hathvelion Sungaze (30,58), turn in [9] The Ring of Mmmrrrggglll. Go south east and swim over the sea to (36,66). Turn in all your quests. This should make you ding level 9 if you didn't already ding.
Level 9
Get the follow up from Velendris Whitemorn: [8] Wretched Ringleader.
5. Go back to the big white tower-like building and fight your way up. At the top you'll find Aldaron the Reckless with two guards. If you are careful you can probably pull the guards solo before you kill Aldras. If you don't manage you'll have to fight him + a guard. Once done, loot his head, jump down the building and run back to Velendris Whitemorn. Turn the quest in and go back to Fairbreeze Village while killing the rest of the Springpaw Stalker you might still need.
Turn in [7] Situation at Sunsail Anchorage and get the follow up [10]Farstrider Retreat.
Turn in [7] Pelt Collection.
Sell junk. Also while here, talk to the vendor outside the inn and get Bundle of Fireworks.

3. Collect 8 Tainted Soil Samples and turn the quest in at Apprentice Mirvenda.
4. Get to full HP/Mana and take the follow up. Protect Mivenda from the Scourge Attack. Three level 8/7 mobs wills spawn and attack her. Kill them one by one as fast as possible. Mirvenda can tank a little but don't leave the mobs on her too long. Once they are dead, turn in the quest and get the follow up [9] Research Notes.
You should be level 10.
Level 10
5. Go northeast to Farstrider Retreat (60,62).
Turn in [10] Farstrider Retreat and get the following quests:
Also talk to the lady near the bonfire in the middleroom and pick up Springpaw Appetizers.
6. Go northeast to (67,56) where you should find Apprentice Loralthalis.
Turn in [10] The Magister's Apprentice and get:
[10] Deactivating the Spire
[10] Where's Wyllithen?
7. Now fight your way north to (68,47) where you should find Groundskeeper Wyllithen. Turn in [10] Where's Wyllithen? and get the follow up [10] Cleaning up the Grounds.
8. Now fight your way from Groundkeeper Wyllithen, to Silvermoon. Enter Silvermoon, train/buy food/visit AH/etc. Either once you are done with that or on your way, go to murder row and search for the innkeeper there. Next to him you should find Vinemaster Suntouched, get Suntouched Special Reserve from him. Also while you are here, don't forget to grab your class quest from you class trainer (instructions for class quests won't be included, you'll have to do them on your own).
Once you are done, exit Silvermoon and go back to Wyllithen while making sure to have killed 6 Mana Serpents and Ether Fiends. Turn in [10] Cleaning up the Grounds.
9. Now go to (68,52) and use the orb of translocation. Fight your way to the floating green crystal in front of you and click to deactivate it.
Go to the next floor, clear everything and deactivate the second crystal. On the second floor you'll also find Magister Duskwither's Journal. Loot and right click to start the quest [10] Abandoned Investigations. Go to the next floor. Clear everything and deactivate the last crystal. Then right click the orb of translocation.
10. Fight your way back to Apprentice Loralthanis and turn in [10] Deactivating the Spire, take the follow up.
Go back to Farstrider Retreat. Go to Magister Duskwither and turn in:
[10] Word from the Spire
[10] Abandoned Investigations
Sell junk etc.
You should be level 11 by now.
Level 11

1. Go to Tor Watha. Kill every Amani Axethrower and Berserker on your way. Go to (70,72) where you should find Ven'Jashi, get his quest.
2. Search and kill Spearcrafter Otembe (he should be close-by). Loot his hammer.
3. Go to (61,80) where you should see a big troll house. Fight your way to the second floor and kill Chieftain Zul'Marosh. Loot his head and the invasion plans. Right click the invasion plans for a quest. Go back to Ven'Jashi. Turn in [11] Zul'Marosh. Make sure you killed 5 Amani Berserkers and 5 Amani Axe Throwers.
Go back to Farstrider Retreat, turn in all quests. Get the follow up [11] Warning Fairbreeze Village which you can turn in right after Hearthstoning to Fairbreeze Village.
From the Fairbreeze Village go southwest to Saltheril's Haven (38,73) and turn in [9] The Party Never Ends.
If you are not level 12 yet, here's one more circuit.
Go to (34,80) and turn in [10] The Scorched Grove at Larianna Riverwind. Take the follow up: [9] A Somber Task. Now while searching for Old Whitebark around (34,84) kill 10 Withered Green Keepers. Once you kill Old Whitebark, loot his pendant and right click it for a quest. Turn in both quests at Larianna Riverwind. Get the follow up. Go to the big bluish runestone in the Scorched Grove (37,86). Right click the Old Whitebark's Pendant from your inventory there. Fight the Whitebark's Spirit that spawns and turn in [10] Whitebarks Memory.
You should be level 12 now. Congratulations
This is the end of my guide, you can continue with this guide now. I hope you enjoyed it. Please leave feedback!
Introduction:
This guide can be used by any race and it will get you from level 12-21. If you need guides for any other level range please check out this page. Although we pick up right where I stopped in my Blood Elf Starting Guide any class can travel to Silvermoon easily and do this instead of the Barrens. Some of the quests (very few) will only be available to you if you are Blood Elf or if you did my previous guides. If you can't take those quests, just skip them and you'll be able to catch up at a later point.
Advantages of Leveling in Ghostlands:
If you wonder why you should do Ghostlands instead of the Barrens, there is two very important reasons:
How to get to Ghostlands depending on your race:
First you need to get to Undercity.

Enter Orgrimmar and get the flight path. Go just outside the City and take the zeppelin to Undercity.
Once at Undercity:
Just when you enter, while you are still in the Ruins of Lordaeron, look to the right side. Up the steps, you'll see an open door and an orb of translocation. Right click it and it will teleport you to Silvermoon City. From there simply exit the town to the south, follow the path west, then at the first opportunity go south until you reach Fairbreeze Village.
Trainers:
Not every class has a trainer in Silvermoon City. Trainer locations by class:

Useful Addons:
Something that's amazingly useful is the Ace2 updater. Download and install it and the program will present you with a list of addons which all use the same library (hence they consume very few ressources). From that list you can choose addons that interest you (I downloaded Fubar quest mod, Fubar location, Cartographer, Bartender and a mod to make my UI look better) and the program will install all the addons for you. Color Code:
Level 12

1. At Fairbreeze Village get the following quests:
[10] Missing in the Ghostlands from Magistrix Landra Dawnstrider
[10] Runewarden Deryan from Ranger Sareyn (Apparently this quest is only available if you did the Defending Faibreeze Village quest from my previous guide. It doesn't matter though, as Runewarden Deryan will give you the "follow-up" [10] Powering our Defenses anyway).
2. Follow the road south to Ghostlands. When you hit the Dead Scar, go west to (44,85) where you should find Runewarden Deryan. Turn in [10] Runewarden Deryan and get the follow up [10] Powering our Defenses.
3. Go east to (55,84) and buff up, get full health/mana. Now use the Infused Crystal from your inventory next to the big rune. Two waves of 3 level 9-10 undeads will spawn. Aggro them before they can touch the crystal and kill them one by one. They don't hurt much and have very low hitpoints.
4. Go back to Runewarden Deryan and turn in.
5. Go east to (48,88) where you should find Courier Dawnstrider. Turn in [10] Missing in the Ghostlands and get the follow up [10] The Fallen Courier from Apothecary Thedra.
6. Cross the bridge to the Ghostlands and kill mobs (any type) that roam close to the bridge until you get four plagued blood samples. Return to Apothecary Thedra and turn in [10] The Fallen Courier.
7. Get the follow up from Courier Dawnstrider and follow the road south to Tranquillien. Once there turn in [10] Delivery to Tranquillien at Arcanist Vandril, get the follow up [10] The Forsaken. Turn it in at High Executor Mavren in the big building to the right and get the follow up which takes you back to Arcanist Vandril. Turn in and get the follow up [10] Suncrown Village.
Now, get all the quests you can find (beside the wanted poster) in Tranquilien.
Go to the inn and make it your home location.
Repair and sell junk. Make sure you got the following quests:
Note: In the next part we fly to Silvermoon City, mostly to do the [10] Goods from Silvermoon City quest line. If you don't have it, you can still fly to Silvermoon City to train. If you don't need to go there, just get the flight path of Tranquillien and continue with step 2.
Now while getting the flight path, turn in [10] Goods from Silvermoon City and purchase a flight to Silvermoon City. Enter Silvermoon and go to the Bazaar at (54,70). Turn in [10] Fly to Silvermoon City and get the follow up. If you didn't get a chance to train yet, do so now. Exit the town to the south and go back to the flight master where you initially arrived. Turn in [10] Skymistress Gloaming and get the follow up.

1. Fly back to Tranquillien. Turn in [10] Return to Quartermaster Lymel.
2. Make sure junk is sold and that you have food etc. Go northeast to Suncrown Village. Next to the road at (57,15) you should see a Dying Blood Elf. Take his quest.
3. Now just ahead of you is Suncrown Village. Go there and kill 10 Nerubis Guards. Also look out for Anok'Suten which is a named undead spider. Normally two players are suggested to kill her at level 11, but by the time you get to her you should be level 13 and she shouldn't be a problem to solo, just watch out that you get no adds and that you are full HP/Mana when you attack her. You might have to chug a pot. If you really can't kill her just leave the quest for later and kill her when you pass by Suncrown Village at a later point.
Level 13
4. Continue east until you reach a camp at (69,15). Take the quest [12] Dealing with Zeb'Sora from Ranger Valanna.
5. Now swim southeast to a little island in the lake (72,18). There you should see a ghost called Geranis Whitemorn. Take his quest. Dive down the water all around the little island and search for Glistening Mud that looks about like this:

After you looted 8 of them, return to Geranis Whitemorn on the island and turn in. Take the follow up.
6. Now swim north to (71,15) where you should see Altar of Tidal Mastery under water. Right click it to summon a named elemental called Aquantion. Kill it.
==Note== Might be a little hard for certain classes, especially mages. Have Dampen Magic on, chain fireball and fireblast whenever it's up. Health pot if needed.
7. Now swim northeast over the lake to the other side where you should see trolls. Kill them until you have 6 Zeb'Sora Troll Ears.
8. Head south/southwest towards Farstrider Enclave (72,32). Get the quests:
[12] Spirits of the Drowned
[14] Bearers of the Plague
**From now on kill every Ghostclaw Lynx on your way.**
Following the western shore of the lake go back to Geranis Whitemorn and kill every Vengeful/Ravening Apparition on your way. When you arrive at Geranis Whitemorn, turn in. Swim back to Ranger Valanna and turn in [12] Dealing with Zeb'Sora. Take the follow up.
Go back to Farstrider Enclave while making sure to have killed 8 Vengeful and 8 Ravening Apparitions on your way. Turn in [12] Spirits of the Drowned and [12] Report to Captain Helios.
Hearthstone to Tranquillien. Turn in [10] Suncrown Village and [11+] Anok'suten. You should be level 14 by now (or close).
Level 14
Get the following quests:
Sell/repair/restock and fly to Silvermoon City in case you want/need to train.

**From now on kill every Spindleweb Spider on your way**
1. Take the road west from Tranquillien and follow it until you reach the Dead Scar. Now looking south of the Dead Scar you should see Risen Hungerers and Gangled Cannibals. Kill 10 of each while trying to not stray to far from the path which led you to the Dead Scar. Be careful there is a level 21 abomination roaming the Dead Scar. Keep any Rotting Hearts you might get.
2. Once done follow the path further west until you reach a fork. Take the little path leading south and you should see Arcane Devourers and Mana Shifters. Kill them until you have 8 Crystallized Mana Essences.
3. Go to (33,26) and pick up Rathis Tomber's Supplies, which can be found in a little wagon next to a tree.
4. Go back to where the road forked earlier and looking north you should see a little dirty path. Follow it up the hill. There should be Sentinel Spies as well as a monument looking like this:

While approaching it, kill all Sentinel Spies you come across. At the moument you should get an "investigate An'Daroth completed" message. Continue killing Sentinel Spies until you killed 12 of them.
5. Once you are done, go west to Goldenmist Village. Kill 6 Quel'Dorei Ghosts and 4 Quel'Dorei Wraths.
6. When you are done go further west to the beach. Kill murlocs there until you have 6 Plagued Murloc Spines. Once done, hearthstone back to Tranquillien.
Turn in all your quests, this should make you ding level 15. Take all the quests available besides the one on the wanted poster.
Level 15
Sell junk, repair, restock food etc.

1. Go northwest until you hit the Dead Scar again. Work your way south while killing Risen Stalkers and Risen Hungerers here until you have 10 Rotting Hearts. Don't go too far south though, stay between the two paths that cross the Dead Scar.
2. Once done go southwest to (31,48) and talk to Apprentice Shatharia. Get her quest. In front of you is a pit with gnolls. Kill gnolls there until you have killed:
Also gather 6 Underlight Ore samples which either drop from the gnolls or can be mined all around that area.
3. Once done go southwest until you reach Windrunner Spire. Kill 8 Deatholme Acolytes and 10 Fallen Rangers. You'll probably loot A Lady's Necklace from one of the mobs. Right click it to start a quest.
4. When done, go north up the beach until you reach Windrunner Village. Kill Gargoyles and Phantasmal Seekers here until you have 6 Phantasmal Substance and 4 Gargoyle Fragments.
You should be level 16 by now.
If for some reason you are behind in levels, you could try to get a group to do Ragefire Chasm, it's a fun little instance and the loots have been upgraded there recently, gather all the quests for it besides [16] Hidden Enemies (too many pre-requisites). You should be ahead of the guide in levels after that
Level 16
5. When you are done, go north and swim to the little island which is located at (10,27). We need to find three different plans here (and the location can vary sometimes): Plans of An'Owyn can be found at (12,23) in a tent. Plans of An'Daroth can be found at (13,26) in a tent. Plans of Sin'Dorei can be found at (10,26) on top of the boat. Hearthstone back to Tranquillien. Turn in all your finished quests. Take all follow ups.
Take the bat to Silvermoon City, train and sell junk. In the city, go northwest to Sunfury Spire. Go up the red ramp to the Inner Sanctum. Inside you'll see some NPCs, go behind them and enter the room. Go up the ramp and you should see an orb of translocation. Use it. Welcome to Undercity.
Enter the city and get the Undercity flight path. Jump down and go the Apothecarium. From there head to the Royal Quarter (entrance is in the middle of the Apothecarium). Turn your sound up and turn in [15] Journey to Undercity at Lady Sylvanas. Enjoy the little event.
Take the translocation orb back to Silvermoon City then fly back to Tranquillien.
Restock arrows/food/etc. Before leaving the town, be sure to have the following quests:

1. Follow the road south until you reach Andilien Estate at (46,56). Get [18] Clearing the Way from Apprentice Vor'el.
2. Continue on the road now going east. And at the fork go north until you reach the Sanctum of the Sun. Enter the building and turn in [14] Underlight Ore Samples at Magister Quallestis. Also get [16] The Farstrider Enclave from Magister Kaendris.
3. Go northeast of the Sanctum of the Sun, up into the mountain where you should find a camp called An'Telas (60,36). (The area around Sanctum of the Sun is a good spot for Ghostclaw Lynx btw, make sure to kill as many as you still need to finish [14] Bearers of the Plague).
Turn in [16] Deliver the Plans to An'telas at Magister Sylastor and get the follow up.
4. Leave the camp where you entered and go to Farstrider Enclave. Turn in [14] Bearers of the Plague and [16] The Farstrider Enclave. Make sure you have the following quests from here:
You should be level 17 by now.
Level 17
**From now on kill every Vampiric Mistbat and Spindleweb Lurker on the way**
5. Go a little west towards the mountain. You should see some trolls in front of a cave/mine entrance there. Enter and carefully pull your way through those catacombs. On the sides you'll see Mumified Troll Remains looking like this:

Right click and burn 10 of them. Be careful of the poison clouds the trolls leave when they die, move out of them. The trolls should also drop Troll Jujus. You'll need 8 of those.
From the entrance go straight until you reach a big room. There go left (there should a yellow exclamation mark on the map). Once you enter that room you should get the "investigate the Amani Catacombs completed" message.
Once you have burned enough mummies and once you've got enough 8 Troll Jujus, go to Ranger Lilatha who is in the cave inside that side room and take her escort quest.

Escort her safely to the entrance and be careful to always pull in advance so the quest NPC doesn't stand around in the poison clouds after a fight. Once outside you'll get ambushed by two trolls. CAREFUL: once you killed those two trolls she'll start running to Farstrider Enclave, follow her even if you don't get time to loot. At Farstrider Enclave you'll get the quest completed message. You'll be able to turn in the quest right away at Captain Helios.

1. Sell trash if needed and head northeast to Dawnstar Spire. Fight your way to the white building, enter and clear it. Go up the ramp. At the end you should see a book with a question mark looking like this:

Turn in [16] The Traitor's Shadow and take the follow up. Go back to Farstrider Enclave and turn in [16] Hints of the Past, take the follow up.
2. Exit FE to the south east (this is a good spot for Vampiric Mistbats, kill as many as you still need). Go a bit further in that direction until you see Shadowpine trolls. Kill everything in that camp (Zab'Tela) until the following objectives are reached:
3. Once done, follow the mountain further southwest until you reach more troll camps (Zeb'Nowa). Clear your way to the following locations (do not sneak through since the mobs on the way drop the items you need to complete Shadowpine Weaponry) and right click these objects:
(68,58) Fresh Fish Rack (3-a)
(65,66) Raw Meat Rack (3-b)
(62,75) Smoked Meat Rack (3-c)
You should be level 18 by now, if you're not, kill a few more trolls.
Level 18
4. Go to (74,67). Get the Zul'Aman flight path, go train, sell junk. When you're done, hearthstone to Tranquillien get [20] The Sanctum of the Sun (if you haven't already) and fly back to Zul'Aman.
5. Go west until you exit the path to Zul'Aman, then go southwest until you see a night elf camp called An'owyn (58,62). Clear your way through it to the middle where you should see a statue called Night Elf Moon Crystal. Continue killing Elves around it until one drops Crystal Crontrolling Orb and then right click the big statue.
6. Northwest of the Night Elf camp there should be plenty of Greater Spindlewebs and Ghostclaw Ravagers. Kill as many as you still need for [18] Clearing the Way and [15]Culinary Crunch (if you haven't finished that one yet). Once done go west to Andilien Estate (46,56) and turn in [18] Clearing the Way.
Go east/northeast to the Sanctum of the Sun and turn in at Magister Kaendris, get the follow up. Go to the 2nd floor turn in [20] The Sanctum of the Sun and get [20]War on Deatholme.
Go back to Tranquillien. Turn in all quests, sell junk, repair etc. Also get the quest [18] Spinal Dust if you don't have it.

1. Go southwest towards the Bleeding Ziggurath (34,42) and kill as many Spindleweb Lurkers as you can find.
2. Clear your way into the Ziggurath (be careful, Dr. Whitherlimb, a rare silver elite, spawns here sometimes... he can be tough to kill if you aren't prepared) and loot the Dented Chest.

3. Exit the Zigurath and go to the Dead Scar. Kill Dreadbone Sentinels and Deathcage Sorcerers until you have 10 Spinal Dust.
You should also be level 19 by now.
Level 19
4. Go to (40,47) where you should find the Howling Zigurath. Fight your way inside (again be careful, Dr. Witherlimb can spawn here too) and loot the chest.
Go back to the spider spot we've just been at and get as much as you still need. Return to Tranquillien. Go to Magistrix Aminel and turn in [18] Spinal Dust.
Now follow the mountain southeast until you reach The Sanctum of the Sun and turn in [17] The Twin Ziggurats at Magister Kaendris. You will be able to choose between "Sunwell Blade" or "Sunwell Orb", choose whichever you can equip and be sure to keep those (we will need them). Get the follow up.
Go east till you get back on the road then follow it north to the elf camp at (60,36). Turn in [16] Deactivate An'owyn at Magister Sylastor. Now go back out of the mountains and northeast to Farstrider Enclave. Turn in every completed quest you have. Get the following quests:
[19] Assault on Zeb'Nowa.
[20+] Bring Me Kel'gash's Head!
1. Go south towards the Zeb'Nowa troll camps. Try finding a partner for the next part by shouting in the zone. If you don't manage, prepare a big health pot/bandages. For warlocks and hunters this won't really be a problem but for mages or so it might be. Work your way south to (64,80) where you should see a big troll house (on the way you'll be able to kill plenty of catlords and hexxers which you need for [19] Assault on Zeb'Nowa). Once at the troll house, on the bottom floor you'll see a catlord and a hexxer. Kill them and go up to the second floor. There you should see a named troll called Kel'gash the Wicked. He is level 20 elite. I soloed him with a level 19 hunter, with a cat as pet and using mend pet a few times in between autoshots when arcane shot wasn't up. Anyway, if you don't find a partner for this, still try to kill him, with a little skill and a health pot you might just be able to pull it off. If you don't manage it, abandon the quest [20+] Bring Me Kel'gash's Head!, just grind 1950 exp (= approx 14 mobs) in this camp. Finish killing as many catlords and hexxers as you might still need (you need 10 of each).
2. Once done go west to Deatholme. Enter it and kill 5 Eye of Dar'Khan, 6 Nerubis Centurion and 6 Wailers. Use your hearthstone when you are done.
You should be level 20 by now or close.
Level 20
Fly to Silvermoon City if you wish to train, visit the auction house, etc.
Fly back to Tranquillien. Go to the Sanctum of the Sun. Turn in [20] War on Deatholme at Magister Idonis. Get the follow up [20] Dar'Khan's Lieutenants, also get [20] A Restorative Draught from Arcanist Janeda. Go to Farstrider Enclave and turn in all your quests. Go back to Tranquillien and turn in [20] A Restorative Draught at Apothecary Renzithen. Take the follow up. Sell junk, repair, etc. When you are ready go back to Deatholme.

1. Inside Deatholme take a right, follow the path until you find some catacombs (32,75) on your right-hand side. Inside the catacombs you'll find Apothecary Enith and Jurion the Deceiver. Be careful to be full health before you descend into the catacombs where you'll find them. Kill Jurion and talk to the Apothecary to rescue him.
2. Get out of the catacombs and clear the way east, till you find a big gazebo structure at (36,78), where you should find Mirdoran the Fallen. Kill him (be careful not to get an add when you pull).
3. Continue south to (38,84), on your left-hand side you should see a little path going up a hill there. Go up, enter the slaughterhouse building and rescue Apothecary Varnis. Borgoth the Bloodletter can spawn here, if you find him here, kill him but be careful not to get adds along when you pull.
4. When done follow the path southwest to (31,88), there you should see another slaughterhouse. Enter it and rescue Ranger Vedoran. If Borgoth the Bloodletter wasn't at the previous location, he should be here, kill him too.
5. Once done you need to find Masophet the Black who spawns either at (29,89) or (35,88). Beware of Dr Whitherlimb (rare silver), he spawns in the building at (35,88). He may kill you if aren't prepared.
While you search for Masophet, shout in the zone and ask if someone wants to do [21] The Traitor's Destruction. Continue killing stuff around the big Zigurath in the middle until you reach one of the two objectives:
Hearthstone back to Tranquillien (if it's up) or just walk directly to the Sanctum of the Sun.
ALTERNATIVE: Instead of running back from Deatholme to the Sanctum you can also let a mob kill you and take a spirit raise. You'll appear close to the Sanctum. If you don't want to waste money this way, just walk there normally.
Turn in all three quests there, take the follow up [21] Hero of the Sin'dorei then go back to Tranquillien and fly to Silvermoon City. Go to the Sunfury Spire (where the orb of translocation is if you remember) and turn in [21] Hero of the Sin'dorei at Lor'Themar Theron. Get the follow up. Grats on level 21.
You are right next to the orb of translocation which will take you to Undercity, where you can turn in this quest and continute with Jame's horde leveling guide.
This is the end of my guide. I hope you liked it and please take some time to leave feedback.

Introduction
This guide was originally written by LnoiX, but seems to have been abandoned, so I have updated it with new content and fixed some minor errors.
I have tried to be as thorough as possible, so that guide includes class-specific quests, profession-specific quests, and is explanatory enough that someone new to the game should be able to make use of it. For those who don't need the long explanations of things, key points in the guide have been color coded so that you can easily pick out what you need to do without having to read everything word-for-word.
Hopefully, what you will gain from using this guide, is an efficient way to level a new tauren character through their starting area. By the end, you should be level 12 (possibly higher level, depending on class and profession specific quests).
Color Coding
Quest names, item names, location names, and such will be color coded throughout this guide so that they are easier to pick out of the general text. Being that I am rather fond of Jame's Leveling Guides, I have mimicked the color coding used in those guides somewhat. Here is the color code used for this guide:
Part I: Red Cloud Mesa
If you were lucky enough to buy a collector’s edition of the game, go ahead and right click on your Camp Narache Gift Voucher and pick up the quest Welcome!. Turn in your voucher at Vorn Skyseer to get your vanity pet. You get no experience points from doing this quest, but you may as well turn it in now since the quest NPC is standing directly to the left of where you enter the game.
Now, pick up the following two quests:
Start heading southeast, towards coordinates (50, 81). Kill every Plainstrider you see, on the way. Loot Plainstrider Meat and Plainstrider Feathers from them, but don’t worry about trying to complete the quest yet.
Once you reach those coordinates, you’ll find an NPC named Greatmother Hawkwind. She’s a female tauren standing near the well. Talk to her and turn in A Humble Task. Pick up the follow-up, also called A Humble Task.
Right-click on one of the Water Pitchers that are sitting on the edge of the well.
Now start heading back to Camp Narache (44, 76), killing every Plainstrider you see, on the way, until you have 7 Plainstrider Meat and 7 Plainstrider Feathers. If you don't have those by the time you reach Camp Narache, then kill Plainstriders nearby until you have finished the quest, The Hunt Begins.
Once you get back to Camp Narache, turn in both quests and get their follow-ups, Rites of the Earthmother and The Hunt Continues. Also, pick up the class-specific quest from Grull Hawkwind to talk to your trainer:
Speak with your trainer, turn in your quest, and train your level 2 skills.
After you have trained and sold vendor-trash from your bags (anything with a gray title) at one of the NPC merchants, start traveling south until you reach (42, 92). On your way there, kill any Mountain Cougar you see and collect their Mountain Cougar Pelts. Make your way up into the mountains, to the hut on the hill. Once there, turn in the quest Rites of the Earthmother at Seer Graytongue. Pick up the follow-up quest, Rite of Strength.
If you haven't finished The Hunt Continues, keep killing Mountain Cougars in the hills surrounding Seer Graytongue's hut until you have 10 Mountain Cougar Pelts.
Return to Camp Narache.
Turn in The Hunt Continues at Grull Hawkwind and pick up the follow-up, The Battleboars. Also, pick up the quest Break Sharptusk! from Brave Windfeather (she wanders around the camp, so look for her exclamation mark on your mini-map if you can't find her).
Now, if you are not yet level 4, then kill everything near Camp Narache until you are (this is called grinding). Don't wander too far away from the camp, just grind on Plainstriders if you are able.
Upon reaching level 4, head back to Camp Narache. Train your level 4 skills.
Shaman, pick up the quest Call of Earth from Seer Ravenfeather.
Vendor any gray-titled items that are in your bags. You'll be doing a lot of killing on this run, as well as picking up quite a few quest items, before returning, so you will need as much room as you can make in your bags.
Head southeast to (58, 85). You should see a cave. Kill the Battleboars that you pass on your way to that cave, but don't worry about completing any quest objectives. There will be plenty more Battleboars inside.
Go into the cave and through the tunnel. Upon exiting the other side of the tunnel, take a left (up the northern path). From here on out, kill every Quillboar and Battleboar you pass.
Some of the Quillboars may be spell casters (Bristleback Shaman). Remember that you can use your War Stomp ability to interrupt their spells.
Keep going north until you reach an intersection. Turn right, down the eastern path. At the next intersection, take a left up the northern path. Then turn right, at the next intersection, and you should have reached a large open area with a large tent in it, and you should be at or near coordinates (62, 78).

Make your way up to the tent, killing everything in your way. Chief Sharptusk Thornmantle should be at the back of the tent. Either fight him in the tent or pull him out into the open area, but either way, kill him and loot Chief Sharptusk Thornmantle's Head.
Now, exit the tent and head south. You should see a small path heading towards a cave. Make your way to the cave (63, 81). Clear the inside of the cave and find a piece of paper laying on the ground. Right-click it to loot the Dirt-stained Map.

Find the map in your inventory, right-click on it, and accept the quest, Attack on Camp Narache.
Now, make sure you have these items in your inventory, in the following quantities:
If you do not have everything listed above, continue killing the Quillboars and Battleboars in the area until you do.
Now, find your Hearthstone in your bags. (Whenever you are asked to "hearth" it means to use this item. It will teleport you to whatever place you are "hearthbound" to, but has a 60 minute cooldown timer on it between uses.) It should return you to Camp Narache. Turn in all of your quests.
Everyone should pick up the follow-up quest from Chief Hawkwind, Rites of the Earthmother. Shaman should pick up the follow-up quest from Seer Ravenfeather, Call of Earth.
This paragraph is for Shaman-class characters only, any other class can skip ahead to the next paragraph. Head east, to Kodo Rock (53, 80). It is a large stone pillar with symbols cut into the sides of it. Stand next to the rock. Find the Earth Sapta in your inventory and right-click on it to drink it. Turn in your quest by talking to the Minor Manifestation of Earth. Get the follow-up. Go back to Camp Narache. Turn in the quest at Seer Ravenfeather.
Congratulations on finishing the newbie area! You should be approximately level 6 and have one quest in your quest log:
Part II: Mulgore
Take the road out of Camp Narache and follow it until you reach Bloodhoof Village. On the way, you will pass Antur Fallow (38, 81). She is marked by the yellow dot on the map, below. Pick up the quest A Task Unfinished from her.

Continue onward, and when you reach the village go to the inn (). Turn in the quest at Innkeeper Kauth and ask him to make this inn your home (that will bind your hearthstone to Bloodhoof Village).
From here on out, whenever you have to take a break from the game, make sure that your character is in an inn so that they can be gathering rested bonus. (You will see your experience point bar turn from purple to blue. The longer you stay in an inn, the more "rested bonus" you get. When you have rested bonus, you get double experience points from all kills.)
Now, head out of the inn and turn in Rites of the Earthmother at Baine Bloodhoof.
Pick up all of the quests in the village:
Don't forget to vendor any useless items that you are still carrying around in your bags. You will be picking up a lot of quest items, so will probably struggle with bag space from this point forward. There is a general goods vendor in the large tent at (45, 57) that sells additional bags, but even the smallest bag (6 slots) will cost you almost 5 silver each. It is up to you to decide whether or not you can afford that, though consider that extra bag space means you can carry additional items back to town to vendor.
Also, visit your trainer if you didn't train your level 6 skills before leaving the newbie area.
Now, find Zarlman Two-Moons standing next to a large bonfire in the middle of the village. Turn in Rite of Vision at him and pick up the follow-up.
Start heading southeast towards (53, 67). Kill everything on your way. Keep an eye out for Ambercorns (they're usually laying underneath trees). Pick any up that you see.

As soon as you reach the well, you should see bricks laying in the grass all around it. Pick up 2 Well Stones.

Once you have both of your well stones, keep heading southeast. Remember to kill everything on the way. Once you reach (62, 70), start killing the harpies. Gather 8 Windfury Talons.
When you have all of your talons, head northwest towards (57, 61). Again, kill all of the wildlife you see along the way. When you reach the road, start looking for Morin Cloudstalker. He wanders this road, so look for the exclamation point on your mini-map. Accept his quest, The Ravaged Caravan.
Follow the wagon-wheel tracks that head north, off the road, until you reach (54, 48). Continue killing things as you go. Once you've reached the ruins of the caravan, start clearing your way up to it. Your objective is to interact with one of the crates in the middle. Turn in the quest and accept the follow-up.
Return to the road via the wagon-wheel tracks heading south. Find Morin Cloudstalker again and turn in The Ravaged Caravan. Pick up the two quests that he now offers:
Follow the road west, back to Bloodhoof Village.
Keep your eye out for Kyle the Frenzied. He is a small wolf that runs all over the village. When you see him, click on him to select him, then right-click on the Tender Strider Meat that you should have picked up off of one of the plainstriders you killed earlier. You should get a quest completed message.
Now, turn in all of the quests that you have completed. It's okay if you haven't finished Swoop Hunting or Mazzranache yet, but if you have finished them go ahead and turn them in now. Definitely turn in the following, as they should be completed:
Pick up the follow-ups:
Head southeast out of town, until you reach the Winterhoof Water Well (53, 67). Of course, kill things along the way for experience and to complete quests. Clear your way towards the well, then find Winterhoof Cleansing Totem in your bags. Right-click it to cleanse the well.
Return to Bloodhoof Village. Turn in Winterhoof Cleansing at Mull Thunderhorn and pick up the follow-up quest.
You should now be level 8. If you are not, grind on plainstriders and wolves near the village until you are. Train your level 8 skills.
Go to the Tribal Fire (47, 57), where Zarlman Two-Moons is standing. Find Water of the Seers in your inventory. While standing near the fire, right-click the water to drink it. After the spell has finished, you should see a ghostly wolf called The Plains Vision appear. Follow it out of the village and across the bridge.
You do not have to keep up with the wolf to be able to complete the quest, so on your way to your destination you can stop to kill Flatland Cougars, Prairie Stalkers, and Swoops. If you lose track of the wolf, your final destination is a cave at (32, 36). Once you reach the cave, turn in Rite of Vision at Seer Wiserunner. Pick up the follow-up, Rite of Wisdom.
South of your current location is the Bael'dun Digsite (34, 47). Go there and start killing Bael'dun Diggers and Bael'dun Appraisers. Gather 5 Prospector's Picks from them. (Note: you won't get quest objective updates from picking up the picks, as there is an additional step to this quest that we will do later.)
After you get your picks, start heading northeast, towards (59, 25). This is a long walk, but there are three quests that you need to complete at this point, so we are going to take this opportunity to do so. Check your quest log to see that you have completed the objectives for Swoop Hunting, Thunderhorn Totem, and Mazzranache. If you haven't, then be sure to kill the appropriate mobs on your way until you have completed those quests.
When you get to (59, 25), talk to Lorekeeper Raintotem and accept his quest, A Sacred Burial.
Head northeast, up the hill. You need to clear your way to the Ancestral Spirit (61, 21) and kill 8 Bristleback Interlopers along the way. As you can see, the mobs are tightly packed together and they run when they are low on health. There are two ways you can go about getting to the Ancestral Spirit. Either pull the interlopers with a range attack and pull them back away from the others, so that if they run they do not aggro any nearby mobs. LnoiX suggests that you get on the cliff just above the spirit. There are less mobs to clear up above, then you can jump down on top of the spirit.
However you choose to get to him, once you reach the Ancestral Spirit, turn in the quest Rite of Wisdom and pick up the follow-up, Journey into Thunder Bluff.
Make sure you've killed all 8 Bristleback Interlopers, then return to Lorekeeper Raintotem (59, 25). Turn in A Sacred Burial.
Now, make your way west, to Thunder Bluff. Find the elevator at (55, 25) and take it.
Once in Thunder Bluff, go to the forge (39, 55). Find the 5 Prospector's Picks in your inventory and right-click them to break them.
Enter the central stairwell (it looks like a big totem pole with a door in it) and take the second door up the ramp. Go to (59, 51) and turn in Journey into Thunder Bluff at Cairne Bloodhoof. Pick up the follow-up, Rites of the Earthmother.
Repair, vendor any trash in your bags, and make use of the Auction House while you are still in Thunder Bluff. You can throw anything you want to keep, but don't need to carry around with you, in your bank vault.
When you are done, hearth back to Bloodhoof Village.
Turn in all of the quests you have completed. Accept the follow-up quest, Thunderhorn Cleansing.
Now head west, to the cave at (35, 61). Start killing all of the gnolls in the cave until you have completed the kill objectives for Sharing the Land.
Run back to Bloodhoof Village and turn in Sharing the Land at Baine Bloodhoof.
By now, you should be level 10 (if not, then you need to grind on nearby mobs until you are level 10). So train your level 10 skills and spend your first talent point (you can view your character's talents by pressing the 'N' key or by clicking on the new button that has appeared between your spellbook and quest log buttons). Your trainer should also have a class-specific quest for you. You should pick it up and decide for yourself whether you are going to do it now or after finishing this guide. (I will probably come back and write instructions, later, for each class-specific quest in a future update to this guide. It is strongly suggested that you do your class-specific quest now, as the ability you get from it will help you in leveling.)
Pick up The Hunter's Way from Skorn Whitecloud before you leave the village.
Next, make your way north out of the village, until you reach Thunderhorn Water Well (44, 45). Clear your way towards the well, then find Thunderhorn Cleansing Totem in your bags. Right-click it to cleanse the well.
Head northeast, to about (50, 30). You should find plenty of Flatland Prowlers here. Kill them until you have 4 Flatland Prowler Claws. While you're killing prowlers, keep an eye out for Arra'chea.

If you find him, kill him and loot the Horn of Arra'chea.
After you have gathered your 4 Flatland Prowler Claws, head towards the Venture Co. Mine (61, 47).
Make your way up the hill. You need to get inside the cave, as one of our kill targets are inside the mine. You will find more than enough Venture Co. Supervisors and Venture Co. Workers inside.
Once inside the mine, follow the right-hand wall. Fight your way down the tunnel, but do not take any of the tunnels that veer off to the left. You should find Supervisor Fizsprocket at about (64, 43). Kill him, loot his clipboard, and fight your way out of the cave. Make sure to finish the kill list for The Venture Co. quest.
Travel south from the mine, until you find the road. Start walking west, down the road, until you find Morin Cloudstalker. Turn in both quests.
Continue walking west until you're back at Bloodhoof Village.
Turn in Thunderhorn Cleansing at Mull Thunderhorn and pick up the follow-up, Wildmane Totem.
Head up the north path, out of the village, towards Thunder Bluff. This time you'll be taking the elevator at (32, 66).
Take the elevator up. As you enter the city, you should see Eyahn Eagletalon. Talk to him and accept his quest, Preperations for Ceremony.
Enter the building at (44, 61). Go up the stairs, take the back door out of the building, and cross the bridge to Hunter Rise. There, you should find Melor Stonehoof. Turn in The Hunters Way at him and pick up Sergra Darkthorn from him.
Take the other bridge to get off of Hunter Rise. You should be near Cairne Bloodhoof's hut.
If you managed to get Horn of Arra'chea, turn in Rites of the Earthmother. Otherwise, you can drop the quest from your quest log.
Go to the north elevator (54, 26) and go down.
From the bottom of the elevator, head north towards (40, 9). Kill every Prairie Wolf Alpha on your way. Once you reach your destination, start killing harpies. If at any time you get tired of killing harpies, you can go back to killing wolves, and vice versa. When all is said and done, you need to have collected the following items:
As soon as you're done, go south back to Thunder Bluff.
Turn in Preparations for Ceremony at Eyahn Eagletalon.
If your hearthstone is up, hearth to Bloodhoof Village. Otherwise, walk back.
Turn in Wildmane Totem at Mull Thunderhorn. Accept his follow-up quest, Wildmane Cleansing.
Begin walking towards Wildmane Water Well (43,14). Clear your way up to the well. Once you're standing next to it, find Wildmane Totem in your inventory and right-click on it to cleanse the well.
If you're more than 1050 experience points away from level 12, just grind it out on nearby mobs.
Then return to Bloodhoof Village. Turn in Wildmane Cleansing at Mull Thunderhorn.
Congratulations! You should now be level 12!
This is an excellent time to knock out your level 10 class-specific quests, if you didn't already do them. Then you can continue your leveling with Hosho's Guide to the Barrens, which will take you from level 12 to level 20.
Good luck!
A grinding guide for the Horde. I started this guide because I noticed the lacking in horde guides past level 13. Besides Jame's Horde guide (which is magnificent), there really aren't any at all. This guide starts out in Durotar. I do not like Durotar for questing, in fact it is probably the worst horde starting area in the game. But it has plenty of good mobs to grind on.
Tips:
Get one gathering profession, and get skinning.
Get First Aid, IT WILL HELP. The four exceptions to this are, of course, the four classes that can heal, Priest, Paladin, Druid, or Shaman.
Buy armour off merchants and/or auction house. People say not too, they say it wastes money, but especially armour reliant classes like Warriors and Rogues need new armour almost every five levels, buy the cheapest armour that will still be useful to you.
Specc your talents in the tree that will do the most damage.
-Druids: Feral
-Hunters: Beast Mastery or MarksMan
-Mage: Fire or frost
-Paladin: Retribution (this talent tree is best for leveling, and arguably nothing else)
-Priest: Shadow
-Rogue: Combat or Assassination
-Shaman: Elemental AND Enhancement
-Warlock: Affliction (A lot of people say Demonology is better, I personally love Affliction much more but if you feel the need to try them both go ahead)
-Warrior: Arms or Fury
Always get quests related to what you are grinding (i.e., kill X amount of Y, or gather X off of Y), hey, you're grinding them anyway, why not get an extra EXP boost?
Listen to music. Grinding may be quick in most aspects, but it's BORING. Have something to keep your mind off of it. Listening to comedians are good too.
If you have the time, run and instance! Go into LFG when you begin grinding, when your group is full stop grinding and run the instance, go back to grinding afterwards. I would not, however, suggest running nothing but instances, limit yourself to one or two times a day.
Don't turn in quests the second you finish them, wait 'til you're done grinding in that area to turn it in.
ALWAYS ALWAYS Log out at an inn, the rested exp adds up.
Don't change your Hearthstone location unless I ask you too.
The Guide
Durotar:
Levels 1-6:
This guide starts in the TROLL and ORC starting area. Meaning if you aren't either of those two races you will not start here. Either come here or quest/grind in your own starting area.
1: Standing in front of you there is an NPC named Kaltunk. Get "Your Place in the World" from him. Go into the big cavelike building, and turn in "Your Place in the World" to Gornek. Get the follow-up "Cutting Teeth" from him. Go outside and to the left, there are a surplus of Mottled Boar to kill. Kill them until you have reached level four and have completed "Cutting Teeth."
2: Go Back to Gornek, turn in "Cutting Teeth" and get the follow-up "Sting of the Scorpid." Go back outside, and toward where you killed boars, go past the boars and you will see scorpids. Kill them until "Sting of the Scorpid" is completed and you have reached level 6.
Levels 6-8:
1: Go turn in "Sting of the Scorpid" and get your class quest, go turn it in and learn your class skills. Then go to Zureetha Fargaze and get the quest "Vile Familiars." Go to Foreman Thazz'ril and get "Lazy Peons." Go to Galgar and get "Galgar's Cactus Apple Surprise."
2: Ok, go to where the boars are, then go right, you will reach Vile Familiars near a cave mouth. Grind on these but don't go inside the cave. Whenever you run out of Familiars to kill make circles around the area, picking Cactus apples and waking up peons with Foreman's Blackjack. Rinse and repeat until A: You have finished the three quests: "Vile Familiars," "Galgars Cactus Surprise," and "Lazy Peons." and B: You are level 7.
3: Go back to Valley of Trials and turn in all three quests, don't get any follow-ups. Now go on the one road out of Valley of Trials, you will circle around a wall. Keep following the road until you reach Ukor, who has the quest "A Peons Burden." You should see a path leading to a village that looks less tread than the main road. Follow it down to Sen'jinn Village. If, when you enter the village, you go right you pass a mount trainer/seller for trolls. Continue right past them and you will come to a fallen tree. Wait here for Lar Prowltusk and then get the quest "Thwarting the Kolkar Aggression." Go straight ahead from here and you will reach a crag full of Kolkar. Kill them and burn their plans (which are near the camps) until you have dinged level 8 and have completed "Thwarting the Kolkar Aggression." After that go back to Lar Prowltusk and turn in the quest.
Levels 8-12:
1: Go back to Sen'jinn and visit Master Gadrin, get the quests "Zalazane" and "Minishina's Skull." Then head north west untill you reach the shore. From there swim until you reach the Echo Islands. Swim to the largest one (check the map if you can't tell which one is largest). On the largest one there is everything you need for these two quests and it is also a good grinding spot. Head to the middle and grind on Hexed Trolls and Voodoo trolls until level 9. Avoid Zalazane if you see him.
2: Once you are level 9 go find Zalazane (he is in a highly congested troll village on the large Echo Island) watch him for a second before attacking, you will see him walk up a small hill. Wait for him to walk back down that hill and attack. Kill him and loot his head. Now go up that hill you saw him walk down and click on one of the skulls up there, this will make you complete "Minishina's Skull."
3: Go back to grinding trolls until level 10. Then swim back to Sen'jinn Village and turn in.
4: Go back to the main road and follow it north to Razor Hill. In Razor Hill go to the innkeeper and turn in "A Peon's Burden," 'make this inn your home,' also, you'll most likely have a class quest at this level (the exceptions are Priests, Paladins, and Rogues). Do these quests (note: if your quest takes you to Orgrimmar, grab the flight path from Doras, there), when done come back to Razor Hill. You should be pretty close to level 11. Continue on the road that runs through Razor Hill north into a large ravine, half-way through, on the right there will be a small crag called Razorwind. Grind on the harpies here until level 12.
5: Hearth back to Razor Hill and get the quest "Conscript of the Horde" from Takrin Pathseeker. Also get "Encroachment" from Gar'thok.
Levels 12-14:
1: Take the road west out of Razor Hill. You will come to Razormane encampments (if you can't find them, look for giant thorns growing out of the ground). Grind on Razormanes until level 14. Also make sure that "Encroachment" is completed. Hearth back to Razor hill.
2: After turning in "Encroachment" there are one of two paths you need to follow: If, at level 10, you did your class quest and it DID lead you into Orgrimmar, and you grabbed the flight path, skip this part of the guide and continue on at the BARRENS section. If you have not yet grabbed the flight path in Orgrimmar read on.
3: Head into the large crag heading north, you will follow it for awhile and then it will open up and a giant city will be a few miles in front of you. Travel there and grab the flight path. Also talk to your class trainer if you havent yet. Then continue on with this guide.
You are now done with Durotar.
The Barrens
Getting to the Barrens: You should be in Razor hill. If not, go there now. Take the road that heads west out of Razor hill. After a while you will come to a bridge going over Southfury River. Continue over it and you will zone into the barrens. Over to the left of your there will be a small encampment, turn in the quest "Conscript of the Horde." Get the folow-up. Continue on the main road, you will eventually reach a fork in the road. Take the south road an you will eventually reach The Crossroads.
Levels 14-16:
1: Make the Crossroads your home location. Turn in "Crossroads Conscription." Take "Meats to Orgrimmar" from Zargh. Go to the windrider master, Devrak. Turn in "Meats to Orgrimmar and get the follow-up "Ride to Orgrimmar" Take a flight to Orgrimmar and go to Innkeeper Gryshka in the Valley of Strength. Turn in "Ride to Orgrimmar" and get the follow-up "Doras the Wind Rider Master." Go to Doras (who is the wind rider master for Orgrimmar and located on top of the tower you arrived on). Turn in "Doras the Wind Rider Master" to him and get the follow-up "Return to the Crossroads." The fly to the Crossroads and give Gryshka's letter to Zargh.
2: Visit Apothecary Helbrim and get the quest "Fungal Spores" from him, then go to Tonga Runetotem and get the quest "The Forgotten Pools," then take the road west out of the Crossroads and follow it until you reach a small hut-like building containing Regthar Deathgate. Get the quest "Centaur Bracers" from him then leave the road and go north until you you reach the forgotten pools. Grind centaurs here until you reach a small oasis, around there collect the fungal spores you need for Helbrim, also swim to the middle of the pool until you get a quest update for "The Forgotten Pools." Then go grind centaurs again until level 16 and until you have completed "Centaur Bracers."
3: Go south and turn in "Centaur Bracers," don't get any follow-ups. Then go back to the Crossraods and turn in "Fungal Spores" and "The Forgotten Pools." Don't get any follow-ups.
Levels 16-19:
1: There is no really good place to grind, right now. So I leave the options up to you: Go to Ragefire Chasm. Or go grind on the mob of you choice until level 17. Then hearth back to Crossroads.
2: Now that you are level 17 go to the NPC Darsok Swiftdagger and get the quest "Harpie Raiders." Then make like you're going to the forgotten pools but go past it, giving the centaurs wide berth. Go north until you reach The Dry Hills. Grind here until you reach level 19 and you have 8 Witchwing Talons. Hearth back to the Crossroads and turn in "Harpie Raiders." If there are any follow-ups, don't get them.
Levels 19-22:
1: Take one last loving look at the Crossroads. It is time for farewell. Follow the southern road out of the Crossroads and keep going until you reach Camp Tarujo (this is a long walk!). Grab the flight path there and then go back to the road and continue south until you reach Field of Giants. There are Thunder Lizards there, grind on these until level 22.
You are now done with the Barrens.
Thousand Needles
Getting to thousand Needles: You should be in the Field of Giants where you were grinding Thunder Lizards. Go south there, past Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs. You will reach the Great Lift. Take it down into the Thousand Needles.
Levels 22-25:
1: Follow the main road until you reach Freewind Post. When there grab the flighpath and make it your home location. Then run down it and go the way you came until you reach Splithoof Crag. Grind on the centaurs here until level 25.
2: Hearth back to Freewind Post.
End of Guide.
Congrats on 25.
Intro
How do some people level way too fast? How is this possible.. there are two ways. Grinding, or Questing. But not ordinary grinding & questing by any way, there are special routes to take, at certain levels, that will keep you dinging in the shortest of time.
The easiest way really, is to grind imo. Although its terribly boring, and it can make you *hate* playing WoW, I have to admit that I find grinding the fastest way to level, for me that is. There are other routes you can take. You can quest only, and if you knew where you're going and this and that, you could probably level faster than grinding.
I have leveled about 3 characters to 60 using this method. I actually have 5 60's though, one of them was my very first 60 and like everyone else, i screwed around and hit 60 in about 30 days played(laugh at me.) The other 60 was my brother's rogue, but yeah.
I recommend you have 4x 16-slot bags ready for your character. Also, make sure you always rest at an inn when you are logging out for more than a couple hours.
Class
Some classes have it easy, some classes have it tough. Mana-user classes can sometimes be rough because of the need to regen mana after killing mobs. Also, some classes, such as Paladins and Warriors, have a slower kill-rate than classes such as Rogues, Mages, Shadow Priests. This is proven, and this is a fact, There are some ways to improve their kill-rate, such as being an Engineer, or getting decked in blue/epic gear. Some classes are made to have it tough, some aren't. Here's a little chart I made that will help you understand things a bit better:
