Eric´s PvP level 70 warrior guide

This guide is for warriors there want to be PvP skilled.

PvP = Player vs. Player

Many warriors chose dual wielding for levelling and 2h weapons for PvP. When a warrior reach level 70, the warrior normally got many quest rewards and sometimes some drops from instances. Many people start to go BG(battleground) to get some honor and marks for nice gear. Warriors always get killed constantly by more skilled players when they start with BG, but after a short time they can easily kill other skilled players and join the battle and have fun.
You have 2 choices: dual wield or 2h weapon.

Dual wield: I love dual wield and I’m dual wield myself, but it is up to you what you want. Fury spec is good for dual wield, so your choice of talents is focused on Fury.

You need:
- strength
- stamina
- attack power
- hit rating
- critical rating
- resilience rating

My fury talents look like this:
In Fury:

Cruelty 5/5 – unbridled wrath 5/5 – blood craze 3/3 – commanding presence 5/5 – piercing howl 1/1 – dual wield specialization 5/5 – enrage 5/5 – sweeping strikes 1/1 – flurry 5/5 – bloodthirst 1/1 – improved berserker stance 5/5 – rampage 1/1.
In Arms:

Deflection 5/5 – improved rend 3/3 – improved charge 2/2 – improved overpower 2/2 – deep wounds 3/3 – impale 2/2.
In Protection:

Tactical mastery 2/3

= 42 fury – 17 arms – 2 protection.

Use sweeping strikes when you fighting two players or more.
Fight in battle stance and use overpower. Is good when fighting rogues. When rogue gets a critical hit you regain HP and get enrage and deal much more damage. When the rogue dodges you use overpower and get a critical hit(normally) and get flurry.
This works on most of classes(except mages and priests).

I recommend you buy the gladiator or vindicator gear you need most.

2h weapon: Many warriors want 2h weapons for PvP. 2h weapons is not better than dual wield but its another tactic you can use. 2h weapons is focused on: Arms.

You need:
- Stamina
- attack power
- Critical rating
- Strength
- Resilience rating
-
My arms talents look like this:
In Arms:
Deflection 5/5 – improved heroic strike 3/3 – improved charge 2/2 – improved overpower 2/2 – deep wounds 3/3 – impale 2/2 – anger management 1/1 - two-handed weapon specialization 5/5 – (take one of the weapon specializations to 5/5) – death wish 1/1 – improved intercept 2/2 – improved hamstring 3/3 – blood frenzy 2/2 – second wind 2/2 – mortal strike 1/1 – improved mortal strike 5/5 – endless rage 1/1.
In Fury:

Cruelty 5/5 - unbridled wrath 5/5 – blood craze 3/3 piercing howl 1/1.
In Protection:

Tactical mastery 1/3.

= 46 arms – 14 fury – 1 protection.

You can kill rogues easily too with this tactic and you will survive more than you will survive in Fury talent. The tactic is easy. Just use heroic strike until the enemy player is down at 50% HP and then use your mortal strike. Then it’s easy to get the enemy player down to 20% and then use execute and the enemy player is dead.
This works against most classes(except mages and skilled priests).

I recommend you buy the gladiator or vindicator gear you need most.

Both specializations need to recharge if the enemy is trying to escape you on mount or just try to run away. Shift to berserker stance and use intercept and give them a hamstring or a piercing howl(prefer hamstring if you can). Always try to defend spellcasters because they deal more damage than you.

Hope this little PvP guide helps Smiling
